The good - keyboard size, screen resolution.
The bad - Wow is this laptop SLOW. Despite using all of the recommended programs for top performance, it takes years to even get to the home screen let alone try and open a basic application (e.g. Microsoft Word, Internet explorer). I am disappointed to have to return to using my former laptop, as this one is just too slow for being able to maintain a normal work schedule. Would not recommend.

-Had to get the W10s off it, couldn’t download Chrome.
-Slower than I expected. Processor maybe? I’ve never had a AMD processor, always have had Intel.
-I only use it to surf the net, shop, bills, etc. so it serves my purpose. By no means do I believe I could play a PC game with this.

I went to Best Buy because I trust them right, I tell the man I’m recently streaming, I watch Netflix etc I’m looking for a certain computer he brings me over to my range of 250-350 dollars currently just to stream shows and pay bills just very easy things right, well ask me why I’m writing this review off my phone and my ps4 connection works better then the laptop he showed me a few I chose one of the cheaper ones cause I heard Lenovo was a good brand, he says yah it should easily work for twitch and Netflix, yet I’m sitting 5 feet from my router man and it constantly buffers I’m talking every couple minutes, paying bills takes me more time then it used to on my phone, I can’t return it or exchange it it’s so great, to have just an electronic sitting around for google that’s about it. Lost a lot of trust in the big company man

The speed of the laptop is absolutely excruciatingly slow. I ultimately had to purchase an SSD to install so I can do anything. Simply opening a Word document takes 1-2 minutes. Launching a browser is even longer and sometimes just doesn’t work.
This is right out of the box, with no “extra” software installed.
I’m disappointed to say the least.

It should not take 60-seconds for Microsoft Word to load a document. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

This laptop was excellent for the price and size. It worked exactly as it should, without much, if any, slow down, and well made. It was easy to begin and set up, and anyone could use it without difficulty. It's design was sleek and the product worked without problem. I prefer laptops to have an internal hard drive, so that was a major plus. The quality was good-unfortunately the screen cracked when it was knocked off of a chest high counter into a tile floor-but everything else still worked, just the screen cracked, making it unusable. Too bad, I really liked this product.

Not had it long but seems to to be a great machine for moderate use. Lightweight, responsive, and fast. Decent graphics and sound as well. Wouldn't recommend for a heavy user or for gaming, programming, etc. Overall for the price, great deal!

The computer is sturdy, and has a full size keyboard, which I like. What I don't like is how slow it now runs after taking it out of "S" mode. The processor is fast enough, but lacks ram I think.
In April - Zoom did not properly function with the computer in "S" mode.
Microsoft Edge does work with the Chrome needs for schools, but it is not compatible for Chromecast.

This is the 4th computer this 65+ senior has purchased in the last 15 years. As computers get more sophisticated, I have been able to keep up with technology because technology helps me keep up! Set up this computer up by myself with easy to follow instructions. I wanted a computer with a lot of storage space and a full adding machine numbers keyboard. I have no intention to play games or use for social media, so this model works for me. I mostly use for email and internet searching. Thumbs up fir me!

I bought this to work from home during the pandemic. When accessing my remote desktop, it works well enough, but just using the native OS, it is painfully, miserably slow. Every time I turn this on, it's an exercise in patience.
Even for things that should be simple like web browsing or using excel, the PC struggles. In fact, I have not tried to do anything especially demanding. The most demanding thing I tried to do was play a 20 year old game, through steam and that of course didn't work well. I've tried doing factory resets but that did not help.
I recommend paying for a nicer PC if it's in your budget. If not, look elsewhere for a budget PC
