Meaning that only Apps from the Microsoft store can be installed. This information is Extremely important to the consumer. The hoops that Microsoft makes you jump through is almost as bad to remove the S Mode. Please make it very obvious that if a computer is S Mode - tell us. Wasted over 6 hours fixing this so my client could install her programs.

I always appreciate having a ten-key as part of the keyboard, so I'll get a lot of use out of that. I am already getting used to, and maybe dependent upon, the touch screen. A good value.

That being said I find the mouse pad hard to use but I found that I can use an old fashion mouse that works for us. Windows 10 is a challenge after 7. I think all will be well in time but for now it’s hard.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. The heart of the IdeaPad S340-15 is the Windows 10 Operating System. To learn your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

(since this was less expensive then some/alot of the others), but I bought it anyway. So glad I did! I do not use the touch-screen part, I am old school and use the mouse. My son does use the touch screen and it works great.

This computer fit the bill perfectly. There weren't a lot of good sales at the time of the purchase but it gets the job done!
