Great Hardware

It's a real augmented reality headset that allows you too see your surrounding and and the game at the same time. The hardware isn't made for iPhones as large as my iPhone XR, but it still worked.

So much fun to play and the different types of games are all equally great. Nothing like firing off the lightsaber and deflecting blaster fire back at some Stormtroopers. :)

Good Idea but Tech not there

The headset looked descent. I figured out how to place my iPhone 7plus in the headset, downloaded the app and ran into problems. The whole deal just didn’t work as expected and it wasn’t actually playable. I returned immediately. Maybe a few years down the road they will have the tech it takes to make this type of product fun

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are having problems setting up the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges. There can be system bug in the older Apple IOS. Please make sure you are running IOS 11.1 or a later version. Sometimes when using an older IOS the wait time for the connection to the headset can take 30 seconds or more. Please check your phone's Bluetooth setting to make sure it is on.( tap settings, select Bluetooth , tap the switch to ensure it is on ( green). Also make sure the location feature on the phone is turned on too .(tap settings, select location , tap the switch to ensure it is on ( green). Please make sure that the headset is powered up and the cable connected .Please make sure that the compatible phone is out of the headset when setting the system up for the first time. Then, when prompted insert the phone into the tray and then into the headset. It is very important when setting up the system for the first time to use the "app" that is provided to guide you through the entire set up process. This insures that the whole system: headset, phone, tracking beacon and Lightsaber controller, will be synced correctly. If this does not If this does not work please contact our support team for a detailed troubleshooting guidance @ : support.lenovo.com/jedichallenges.

• New Lightsaber Duel – Players can duel two elite Praetorian Guards featured in The Last Jedi. This is the first time Jedi Challenges players will duel two characters at the same time.
• New Planet for Strategic Combat – Three thrilling new levels of Strategic Combat set on Crait, a brand new planet that debuts in the film, will come with the update. Battle new enemies and vehicles including the formidable First Order AT-M6 walker.
• New Content in Assault mode – All-new enemies and levels will be introduced, including the First Order Stormtrooper Executioner and Riot Control Stormtrooper.
• Introduction of Porgs – Players will be rewarded with fan-favorite porgs in augmented reality.

I was sooo excited to get my hands on this because I'm a huge fan! It's an incredible feeling to be able to put yourself into the Star Wars world! I have an iPhone 7 plus, and using it with the device was quite easy. Set up and instructions were clear and understandable. I noticed a reviewer raised a concern around the heat and the phone? I played for ~30 minutes and didn't notice my phone getting that hot (no more than when I'm watching Netflix and whatnot). The games are well executed -- graphics, next steps, storyline, conclusion, etc. It is so fun to play and a good arm workout (or maybe I just don't have any arm strength lol). It's nice to actually use a lightsaber, and not have to worry about hurting anyone -- really living out my childhood dreams hahaa I think this is going to be THE holiday present of the season and it comes just in time for the next movie!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend (and strangers)!

It's worth that just for the cosplay aspect of having a nice saber. BUT, the game gets VERY OLD, VERY FAST with very little desire for replay. I got bored after about 15 minutes and never picked it back up, so I returned it. Cool idea, but boring. Reeaalllyyy boring...

Up side is he loves it and is very active playing it. Definitely works up a sweat, usually plays it for 2 plus hours before his legs start to get tired. Great game for the money.

Posted .You may want to try re-adjusting the headset. The best way to adjust the Star Wars Jedi Challenges headset is to: place the unit on your head and then adjust the two side straps first. Then adjust the top strap until the headset is at a good height and feels comfortable to you.. Please make sure that you are using a compatible phone. It is very important that the phone you will be using for the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is on the compatible list, otherwise the hologram images may not be as the developer intended. Please find the updated list of phones at jedichallenges.com/compatibility .Please make sure that the compatible phone is out of the headset when setting the system up for the first time. Then, when prompted insert the phone into the tray and then into the headset. It is very important when setting up the system for the first time to use the "app" that is provided to guide you through the entire set up process. That's the tone of the hologram-type imagery and the various level designs, which ramp up in three difficulties across a variety of different planetary themes.

I didn't realize it wasn't compatible with my phone, but it worked with my sons - which was great. Fantastic views and the Augmented Reality is really cool. Lightsaber is high quality hilt.

Luckily I had an iPhone around to give this a go. It was a gift for a friend who has a note6 and upon trying to fit the phone we found it was incompatible due the the size of the phone.
