The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 is a great tablet considering what you're paying for it. At $159.99 you get a MedtiaTek CPU running at (1.7GHz), 2GB of DDR3LP RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a decent but beautiful resolution of 1920x1200, and great sound with built in Dolby Digital Atom speakers on the back.
I must say that, I have not yet to be disappointed with this 10" tablet what so ever. I ended up getting this tablet 2 days ago, and I got this one after returning the Lenovo Tab 2 A8-50F that I got a few days prior to getting the A10-70 at BestBuy.
The A10-70 that they have display at BestBuy is running Android KitKat 4.4, and may say it does here on the website but don't let that turn you away from this tablet. To be exact, this tablet comes with the latest Android of LolliPop 5.1. so you don't have to worry if that's what anyone is worrying about.
I've watched many reviews recently about the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70, some say that this tablet can handle games very well, and others say it fails in that department. I'm sorry to say but if you fully optimize your tablet's performance by using programs such as 360 Security to optimize apps, settings, and more this tablet actually runs pretty fast.
I've also managed to uninstall, and disable a lot of of recommended apps that came stock with this tablet so I was able to free up more RAM/Memory, and to get the extra internal storage space I could use for apps that I would like to have on my tablet personally. Once I optimized the entire device, web browsing, watching videos, playing games, and everything else just seemed to run, and respond a lot faster.
I highly recommend this tablet to the people who enjoy playing high-end games, and do lot of multitasking as well. I will also say that the battery life on this tablet is AMAZING!!! I started this tablet at 10am this morning on 100%, and the time is now 11:44pm and I still have 13% left of battery life..loving it!
This tablet has potential, and runs great for the price without a doubt, returning the A8-50F to get the A10-70 was definitely worth the extra $30.00.

I was pleasantly surprised by the above average screen resolution on this budget tablet - plus the fact that one can tweak the various settings of the display far beyond just the usual brightness level. Additional levels include a User mode that allows adjustment for contrast, saturation, sharpness, color temperature, and dynamic contrast. As a photography enthusiast, these settings are important to me, especially when used in conjunction with photo editing apps such as Snapseed. The sound bar on the back of the tablet features the amazing Dolby Atmos system. I hope Lenovo considers making the speakers front-firing in the next model. The overall volume is not satisfying either. If volume on your tablet is important to you, I suggest moving to the Lenovo YOGA Tab models on which the speakers are located on the front and produce a much more acceptable volume output - and they really show off the incredible sound qualities of Dolby Atmos.
All in all, it's a good tablet at a great price - and will perform well for most any purpose - except if you're a gamer - it's a bit slow for gaming.
For everyday use (reading, photo viewing and editing, email, movies, etc) it's an exceptional value.

I have Lenovo yoga 2 which is 50 bucks more than A10-70. Lenovo - Tab 2 A10-70 does not has many sensors but it is better than Yoga 2 in few aspects: Skype calling is smooth no noise (yoga 2 is horrible) , Dolby atoms is nice for music and videos. It got FM radio.
The only reason I returned it, because I want to play heavy games so looking for a tablet which has 2gb ram, but this one gets hot, but cools down in 10-15 min when you stop playing game. Battery life is good but I wanted some thing better so bought Samsung Tab pro 10.1 and was not happy with it and finally bought Samsung Tab S 10.5 which is $400 costly and lot better than these. If you are looking for budget tablet for browsing, Youtube, Skype, music, FM, Vidoes and light games this is the best tablet you can get in $200. You will not get any other tablet in this price range with 2gb ram and Full HD screen.
This should get Lollipop some time in July. I felt this is better than Samsung Tab A 9.7 which costs $300.

I was looking for a good tablet for travel that didn't cost too much. Ipads were not in the running as they are too expensive and I don't like being tied to Itunes for accessing the tablet. Reviews were very positive for this tablet so I bought one. The display is better than other lower priced tablets and very adequate, battery life has been excellent, response is fine, but I don't play action games. It came with Android Kitkat and after several updates, it now has Android 5. Nice to see updates rather than no continuing support. Supports 32 gig microSD cards. I wish 64 gig was supported because my music collection now requires 2 cards. Construction quality seems adequate, but not of course, in the range of high end products. Just use a good case for protection. If reliability proves out, this tablet proves most people can own a very good tablet that doesn't cost as much as laptop.

I purchased this tablet to replace my Asus 10inch tablet. For less then $200.00 this is a great value . I use the tablet to surf the web, watch shows and read books and magazines.. For picture and sound quality as well as internet and tablet processing speed, I have not seen anything close to this good in this price range.

MOST everything about this tablet is great - the screen resolution, the speed, the battery life, the price!
Things that are not so good: it's a little heavy and a little thick, the camera is not so good in low light and it doesn't make a strong connection with WiFi. It has even dropped the signal a couple of times...and the router was just in the next room.
Other than that, for the price it's a pretty good device.

I got the tablet to use for meetings and other cases where I didn't want to squint at my cell phone. I chose this one primarily for the larger screen size and price.
I only use it on Wi-Fi and never have any connectivity issues.
The battery life has certainly impressed me. I may charge the device once a week when I am using it for hours daily to play games, watch streaming movies or do product searches.
It is very easy to use and comes with awesome features like auto shut-off and auto turn-on modes that you can set on a schedule.
My only negative comment would be that the camera makes a horrendous chirping sound when it focuses. I can't use it in meetings when I want to post things on social media because of how disruptive the thing is. There may be a way to turn this off but I have yet to discover it, if so.

I was looking for a tablet that I could travel with and also that would work for social media promotions, lighten the load on my computers. This tablet has hooked me hook line and sinker. The slim profile of just over an 1/8th inch thick was a surprise seeing that the specs say 1.7 inches. But I rave about the 8mp camera WOW!!! I can photo my paintings and all the nuance of color and details are captured which is a huge timesaver for social media promotions. I can travel and present my portfolio in high resolution and at the same time take press photos to upload. Lenovo inherited it's understanding of the computer from IBM as a tool for all business as well as social uses in this tablet. So I have been so impressed. I only had to white balance the monitor for the type of light before shooting and voila. It also ends up with as large a photo as my Canon camera although for print purposes I'll probably stick with the Canon since it is made to calibrate with a printer. If you are looking for an effective tablet with an amazing HD monitor and camera you would be hard pressed to do better than this Lenovo Tab. I upgraded the the microsd to 64gb so I could store as many photos as I wanted while on the road. So impressed I'm buying another one for a Christmas gift.

I purchased this product because of the great reviews it was given! This tablet is cheaper than the Samsung models but has much better hardware. The front and back cameras are better mega pixels. The Processor had a better speed 1.7hz to a 2.1hz. Came with the latest version of android which I was not expecting! They must have been upgrading the tablet software with the new line and not changed the listing online. Bluetooth enabled great feature! 16 gigabyte hard drive that is expandable with SD card. The screen resolution is much better as well. I'm not sure why the price difference i guess you are purchasing the brand but for god sake at least be competitive with hardware installation. Over all BEST BANG for the BUCK!!!!! Love it love it love it could not ask for anything better. Hope this review was helpful happy shopping all!

I am not very tech savvy, but I read extensively before buying this tablet and it was rated very well for a budget tablet. It seems fast, the sound is awesome and the screen is great. Pictures might not be the best but they are pretty good and the videos are not bad either. Battery life is great and it doesn't seem too heavy or awkward to hold. It updated right out of the box without any glitches.

Lenovo gets it right with their Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 10.1" android tablet. The tablet boasts a light weight, brilliant display, Dolby ATMOS surround sound, a responsive Quadcore processor at 1.7gH, Gorilla glass screen, a nice feel and competitive features. Sound it very good for a tablet. Picture quality is awesome. Tablet is quite responsive. Lenovo gets it right for a bargain tablet.

Nice size, lightweight and easy to carry. Does need a case for protection. Very good battery life. Sharp screen and great graphics. Already had 1.7 chipset and 5.0.1 Lollipop installed so no upgrade needed. Fast processor. Only drawback - sound is not up to par with tablet's other excellent features.

I love it. I wanted a larger tablet than what I previously had and since I have a Lenovo laptop figured I'd give their tablet a shot. The screen resolution is fantastic and even my friend -a very pro-Apple person- said it was better than her iPad. It's super lightweight and really fast. For me the battery life is perfect with me only recharging every 3-4 days but I mostly use it for reading and watching short videos.

It's hard to beat this tablet for the price. It sports a clearer, more vivid screen than some costlier competitors, and it is highly responsive to the touch. Nevertheless, there are a few other tablets out there with higher resolution without having to pay that much more, so I take a star off for that. Still, it remains a strong contender amongst other tablets its size. The screen real estate is nice, boot and processing times are quick, and there is very little in the way of unnecessary or unwanted bloatware installed. It is hard to find much to complain about at this price point for this Android tablet.

Bought this to complement my Android phone. I have played movies via plex and netflix, watched movies on HBO go and also many apps from the play store. I have not had any slowdown as of yet. The cpu is pretty good at keeping up and the sound quality when trying to show someone a video is great. I have barely used the camera, not the greatest though.
cons, limited internal memeory upgrade, there is no app drawer, so all your apps get stored on your desktop unless you create your own folders.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. I use it to catch up on shows while on lunch or away on business.

This is my first tablet computer and my first Android system product. I am pleased with the screen resolution. Overall, there is good color saturation, brightness and definition. The sound-projectors[speakers] being on the back is not the most preferred design, in the minds of many. The sound quality is very good when facing the projectors; and, the quality is good when facing the screen with sound being reflected by a close environmental surface. There is also a graphic equalizer in the Dolby sound package. It has good battery strength. It is low in weight; and, the Mini-Usb port can be compatible with a Ethernet-MiniUsb adapter. It did arrive from the factory with Kit-Kat Android installed, but Lenovo pushed out the 5.0 ^ Lollipop upgrade. My unit was manufactured in July 2015. The wireless Ethernet function has been good. My unit does not have the cellular telephony option.

Purchased this tablet as a gift for my dad on his birthday. He can't stop talking about it. The graphics are excellent for game playing and movie streaming and the pixels on the camera are decent as well. It's light weight and the screen size (10.1) is pretty decent. This is a good buy if you are looking for a reasonably priced tablet with good quality-worth the money spent. The look on my dad's face-Priceless :)

Thought about the kindle my daughter has one but wanted a tablet a little bit bigger since it's harder for me to see, and this was recommended from an associate at Best Buy when I questioned the brand she said it has become very popular. Couldn't really afford an I pad so I looked at what this tablet had to offer and I can say I am very happy with my choice for the price, beautiful picture and speaker has great sound and easy to figure it out, I am Happy!

I quite liked it, until it automatically did a software update. I couldn't stand the way the whole setup looked after the update happened, so I returned it. Would've kept it otherwise.
Pros:
Super long battery life
Amazing sound
Clear display
Great price
Cons:
Kept disconnecting from WiFi, got annoying having to reconnect
Not many tablet cases for it
The software/system update is horrible and hideous
