Charging Port Went Bad Very Quickly

Bought in January and it started acting like the cable was being unplugged and plugged back in over and over, and even though the setting for the chime was turned off in Settings, it would still play it over and over again. Very annoying and frustrating for it to malfunction so soon after it was purchased and well taken care of. It was not dropped or near any spills.

First, you can restore your device through Lenovo Rescue Assistant https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds101291-rescue-and-smart-assistant-lmsa
This software can back up and restoration of your Tab and should resolve your software issues.

The build date on it is 09/27/24. I found out on January 20, 2025 that Lenovo considers these models as OBSOLETE!! They no longer provide ANY information about it, no customer service or support of any kind. I thought I had left my charging cable while out of town on business, so I called Lenovo to see what charger I needed to purchase. They couldn’t even tell me the proper wattage! I’ll stick with Apple products from now on, at least you get a few years worth of support for your $$$.

To clarify, the Tab Plus is expected to get operating system upgrades until Android 16 and 4 years of security patches until June 2028, and we stand by this device. Store said it would be ready for pickup in one hour. I went to the store after waiting 3 hours and item was still not ready. Store was short handed and extremely disorganized. I think I will just buy from Amazon or the manufacturer directly next time.

My son dropped and broke a less than year old P11 Pro Gen 2, so I bought this on sale. Pros: It feels solid, nice weight and sturdy kick stand. The speakers are fantastic for a tablet. Can get very loud and deep Cons: The processing is just not strong. This performs much closer to a $120 tablet say M11 than a $300 tablet P11 Pro. Display seems fine but something is just less than adequate with it. YoutubeTv max settings are 480p?? For a $300 tablet this is just awful. Streaming on this vs a 3yr old iPad is night and day. There's not many options for cases. Lenovo is bad for this, not like a samsung or apple where you can find hundreds of cases. You might find like 8 different cases for this. It total, this is a cheap tablet with great audio. I would not pay $220 for this again and certainly would never pay the $280 or whatever retail is
