This is a good deal on a good machine, but I was sent one with a 1366x768 resolution and three dead pixels. I bought this because I wanted the Full HD screen, and that's what the label said. I spoke with a BestBuy support rep who told me he that I was sent the proper product. I found that pretty outrageous, that Bestbuy is knowingly mislabeling this laptop. I'll plan to get a replacement to see if that one is actually Full HD as labeled, and if not I expect a full refund.

I was looking for portable laptop with non-reflective screen and good CPU/Memory. ThinkPad 12.5 is excellent: PROS: -Screen is non-reflective and has decent size - good for browsing, word processing and such. -CPU/Memory/Hard Drive is enough for non-business use. -Windows Professional is a big Plus for adjusting settings and such. -Number of build-in ports (3 USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc) - hard to find in latest laptops. Cons: -was not able to set display fonts (in Browsers) to be black instead of grey. Seems to be known Windows issue.

I was satisfied with the computer while it worked. It is fast and compact. Unfortunately, it had problem with the fan (it kept turning off and on) so I had to return it. I received a speedy refund.

Efficient, display is awesome. LIghtweight and easy to use

Description says full HD screen (which would be an IPS panel); came with the basic 1366x768 TN panel. Not as good a deal without the high res IPS screen but this one did have a backlit keyboard. Best Buy has an excellent return policy so I'm trying it out and will likely keep it. Both batteries are about 10% worn (good for its age), and the refurbishing itself was done very well. The laptop is clean, looks to have a new keyboard. These ThinkPads are not flashy but they work well and the keyboards are the best you can get. I used a ThinkPad at work for years and it was a tank. As long as you're not depending on the specs to be 100% accurate, this is a good machine that was refurb'd well. Looks like the company (PlanItROI) takes in a huge number of off lease machines to refurb so I guess it's hard to list accurately since any one model has several screen, hard drive, and memory options.

It was great except the speakers/microphone did not work

I bought this for a friend. I was afraid of buying a refurbished machine, but so far no reasons to be afraid. Top-notch performance!

After just using it for just 2 weeks, I noticed the keyboard has started having issues. Some keys got jammed even after using compressed air to resolve the issues. I let it rest for a week and when I started using it again, nothing has really changed. It would have been a good buy if this was not an issue.

It is no IBM but this i5 laptop runs faster than my i7, it doesn't have touchscreen but still is very responsive for office tasks. I recommend it. No bloatware. No viruses. No nonsense. Just quality. I will remove 1 star because the cover of the laptop comes with a cheap plastic sticker protector and it came misaligned, I fear removing it and regretting it later but I don't know if it will start peeling off in the future. That sticker cover looks cheap and it is not part of the laptop, probably put there to hide scratches or damage.

Great pc for the price. Tested wjth some high perfomance process and it was just good.

Assumed the unit was loaded with Windows 7 per ad. It wasn’t therefore the unit is essentially worthless to me.

Motherboard died within 1 year of regular usage. The computer suddenly stop working. It won't turn on. After service, Motherboard needs to be replaced

This has enough memory and processor power to not slow our distance learning student down and comes with current software. Perfect size and weight and all of our personal home laptops are Lenovo, so easy for us to use. The Lenovo come with so much less garbage unneeded software. Much cleaner install of windows,

New computer does what i need it to do. Packaged well and timely delivery.

laptop worked well while it lasted! Lasted almost one year to be exact. Glad I'm physically back to work now!

This refurbished machine was a good deal. Installation of the OS was easy and customer service immediately replaced the adapter when I reported that it was faulty. The ports are all working and although there are signs of wear, it was not more than expected.

Great small laptop. I bought for ODBC reader for cars. Small size and lite weight in cars is a plus.
