My daughter is 9, and was SO EXCITED for this laptop. It was not what I expected - seems heavy, clunky, like an older computer? But my daughter LOVED the way the keyboard clicks, the screen, the sound quality, and the way the mousepad part worked smoothly. But. First of all, the computer had no sound when it arrived. We did the set up, then couldn't get any sound unless we plugged in the headphones. It took me an hour of googling and messing with settings before I figured out where to adjust it, to make sound come from the laptop speakers. It seems frustrating that I'd have to do that, even though this is a refurbished, I thought it would be more "ready to go" out of the box. After that, the computer needed to do an update, and restart. But oh lawd, every time this thing restarted - you couldn't get it to start again! The lights come on when you hit the power button, but it's a black screen. If you Google that, you'll see that it's a pretty common problem. The only solution was to let it set for an hour or five, then come try again. Usually it'd start working. Until it didn't. Last week, it stopped working. It turns on, but has a bunch of loud beeps, and black screen. Nothing else. Haven't been able to get it to turn on for days. So, I'm out $300 bucks on a computer that doesn't work, and I'm a few days past the "return" date. I don't advise getting this.

The laptop does not seem to work properly. It freezes up often and takes forever to reboot. It was a Christmas gift for my wife, and she has not been able to get it to work for her. Now I am told it is not returnable. After less than 30 days. Very disappointed with Best Buy.

Excellent for students, fulfil all the requirements.

Thought since I only needed to store photos and videos and do light office tasks this would be economical. My old Dell ran out of space. The display is not sharp at all. Uploading photos almost always fails at some point deep in the process. And it is constantly “updating”. Now have to buy a new one, instead of saving money, it’s now money wasted. Doubt I would get refurbished again.

I ordered this laptop Wednesday night and it. came on Friday so the delivery was fast but it came with the wrong charger so I haven't gotten to use it so im a little disappointed since it's friday and their closed
