There's a lot of great reviews on here that clearly highlight the benefits of this laptop, features etc, so I'm not going to go into all that. I work in shipping and import in the construction field, and spend a great deal of time either traveling overseas or working from a pickup truck when I'm here in the US. I've tried many different device combinations over the past year and a half, trying to find some device or combination of devices that was both practical and enjoyable to use regardless of where I was at or what I was doing. Everything we do as a company is digital, so my world is far bigger than just emails and keeping up with Facebook. Annotating shop drawings for custom products, reviewing and redlining full sets of construction drawings, working with team members through hundreds of Drop Box folders, sharing project notes with OneNote, having Skype conference calls with team members working on site overseas.....you get the idea. Whatever I decide to carry makes or breaks the entire day not only for me but for others. I've bought, used, and then sold: MacBook Pro 13", MacBook (the new slim one), a 21" iMac (when I was thinking that both a road machine and a dedicated desktop was the way to go), a really juiced top end Surface Book, and a Surface Pro 4 (still have this one and use at home, love it), and a MacBook Air 11" (actually wish that I had kept that little guy) Out of all of those, the only laptop that I still have and won't sell, and take with me every day and then back home again to work on the couch at night or in bed at a hotel is the Yoga 14. I even bought 2 more for the company. This model is headed out for good, and I think is currently on sale, so grab it while you can!

Very nice product! All three USB ports are USB 3.0. There are NO USB 2.0 ports. Left hand port is always powered.
Only problem was pen not charging properly. Best Buy offered to swap out unit, but since I had it completely set up, I opted to have Lenovo repair.
Product is now operating flawlessly! A whole lot of computer for the money. HD display (in lieu of UHD), SSD drive, and i5 Skylake processor result in optimum battery life. Pen input is an added benefit. Artists will love this feature. Only thing missing is Numeric Keypad, but I have a USB version ordered from Lenovo and doesn't have to be carried around unless needed (a la external DVD). Also, fingerprint reader would be nice, but can probably be added without great difficulty by purchasing parts.
This unit, unlike my daughter's Yoga 2 13, comes w/o bloatware! A big plus!
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied after almost 2 months ownership.

I love this computer. The keyboard is amazing, it makes you want to work! The pen is really a great accessory. I also love that you can bend it to make it a tablet. Smart and easy to use. The battery life is incredible. Great value for the price. You will not be disappointed!

This had the specs I was looking for and was on sale when I walked into Best Buy. In addition to a discrete graphics card and SSD, it also has a pen that slides into the bottom that has buttons and can act like a mouse. I've loaded a number of programs and use it for everything from Quicken and bill-paying to MSOffice tasks. Next I'll work on some photo and video editing to see how it does. I don't play games so can't comment there.

I was surprised at how fast this computer was. One great feature was the stylus. I also like that you can use it like a tablet. Battery life is also great. The 14 inch screen in my book is the perfect size. It is also fairly light. Three USB ports is also just the right number.

I bougth this on an «open box» deal, so i paid 150$ less than regular price, and im very happy with it, has a smooth performance, super silent, great display, ssd disk make very fast boot and write-read process, the batery life i think is as should be, a good graphics card with dedicated memory is a big plus (even with discrete graphics is an nvidia card), and the staff at the shop was absolutely ussefull and kind. Totally recomended this laptop and this store. My only complain is the size (250gb) of the ssd drive, i would like the option to choose a bigger one, like 500gb, even knowing the price has to be higher, thats why i give it 4 stars

I bought this after buying an Acer and then an Asus. This is the only one that did not have a video driver issues out of the box. It runs Windows 10 well, I haven't had any issues with it yet. I use it for HD video editing, I definitely have much higher rendering speed with this due to the dedicated graphics card. Quick startup time and good processing power, the SSD seems to make a big difference. I don't think that any normal user doing video editing would need any more then this, it seems to be the best bang for your buck if you are looking for a 2 in 1 with dedicated graphics, and a SSD. My only complaint is that it is the standard Lenovo black plastic case instead of most that have metal that feel better made. Also, it has the power supply that is a plug with wire, then housing for the power supply, then another wire that goes to the computer, I think this makes portability more difficult. The Asus I had, had a wall wort with a single cable, much easier to wrap up and transport.

The Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga is far more robust than my old Yoga 2 that had screws falling out of it after a year. The added stylus is a great feature and I see very little difference between this and the Surface Pro's that are over 2x the price. I use my laptops every day for work including a fair amount of travel and this PC has held up great. Highly recommend.

Not the lightest by any imagination. but the capability, build quality, and speed make it a keeper.
Excellent keyboard, best I've used on any laptop. The same goes for the pad, and I don't like to use touchpads, but this one is totally tolerable.
Excellent screen as well. Very fast start up. Set up was easy and bloatware was essentially none existent. Maybe one reason it is a bit heavy is that the manufacturer wanted to make sure every worthwhile feature was included. Outside of a CD/DVD drive, which is not included in most thin notebooks, I can't think of anything else I am missing.

Spent quite a bit of time stalking Best Buy for sales and reviews of different laptops. I wanted the flexibility of a tablet type laptop as I like to read books on them. I like that I will be able to "write" on the screen when I am taking notes for training classes. I also like the flexibility of moving between a touch screen and touch pad (or mouse, as I like that more than a touch pad).
This computer is fast, boots up quickly, the screen is amazingly clear and bright, and does very well on battery life. I took it on a recent trip to CA (and left it in the security line-the TSA agent booted it up to get my name and told me how much he liked the laptop, lol). It is light and fits well into my carry on. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it highly.

I buy technology for a school in the St. Louis area. I am very sad to see these laptops may soon no longer be available (recent pricing indicates that this item is now on clearance). At roughly $1100 with a 3 year Geek Squad warranty, these machines are better priced than what I can buy through Lenovo's partner networks AND it has accidental damage coverage. The specs are really good for most of my teachers' needs. We also looked at the Flex 4. The Flex 4 is nice, but doesn't have the pen and doesn't seem to have as good of a build. In addition, when you put the laptop into tablet mode, the keyboard doesn't retract.
We've had to get 2 of them repaired, but I (ok, the school I work for) now own more than 15 of these and they have been very popular.

So, I love the Lenovo business class laptops and their awesome keyboards. My previous two laptops were a T430s and T450s. Hard to beat. I picked this laptop up because of the nice stylus and 2-in-1 layout. I've never been big on convertible laptops and have always felt they're a bit gimmicky. After getting the laptop setup the way I want, I took it to a Calculus class. The stylus and OneNote made writing notes a breeze. The screen is beautiful. It's not too bad about picking up finger prints. Oddly enough, the clarity and contrast of the screen makes them unnoticeable. I've quickly learned to love this laptop. It runs VMware Workstation without issue and is fairly quick/snappy overall. I'm very happy with this purchase and couldn't ask for more.

The laptop is great, excellent screen, suberb battery life and well implemented pen software.
The problem lies in build quality. I had to go through 3 different ones of these to get a non-broken keyboard (2 out of 3 had broken B keys), And after light use a bit of flex has made itself known on the palm rest area.
Thankfully in all other areas this product is great, but due to the (albeit minor) issues with build quality. I can only rate it a 4/5

Love Laptop But Disappointed With Wacom Conflict

I am an artist and choose this laptop because of the pen/stylus. However, I also have a Wacom Tablet and when I install the driver for that device, this Lenovo laptop losses its touch screen and pen functions (also powered by Wacom drivers). Lenovo was not able to provide any support for this issue. I will be calling Wacom shortly. If they are not able to provide a resolution, I'm afraid I will have to return this laptop... which is a shame because I like everything else about it.

For the price, an outstanding 2n1 laptop. I bought it and use it primarily for a laptop and consider the best I've had, and comparable in quality and utility as my wife's MacBook Pro. Keyboard is excellent, smooth, fast. Screen is beautiful. For general business and personal entertainment purposes, an excellent option. Rate it 4 because nothing is perfect.

I have been using this laptop for about 3 months now. I am in a sales / construction field that requires constant access to emails / PDF's to annotate and return, submittals to review and sign / online scheduling and task setting software to access and update with notes and tasks for myself and others. I always have a laptop with me, and I like to have both a laptop and desktop running at the office when I'm there.
I love ThinkPad computers, always have. But, Windows for me has been the weakest part of ThinkPad laptops. I currently have a Mac Pro I use at home, and an IMac that I have at my desk back at the office. I also use a ThinkPad Chromebook that I like a lot, but it's pretty basic. I used to use it on jobsites when there is dust and dirt and such, even taking it on motorcycle trips where I knew I could trust it to survive any condition that arose.
This Yoga 14 was purchased on impulse. I needed a "tablet" that I could use with a pen to annotate drawings and contracts, in conjunction with a team using Mac computers. I went to Best Buy to look at either an IPad Pro, or a Surface Pro. I was just underwhelmed with the specs and the price. To each his own...I don't mean to badmouth either device, as I have friends and co-workers with both and they love them to death.
Being underwhelmed...Surface Pro because it's so expensive (I was looking to purchase 2, one for me and one for an assistant) and the Ipad Pro since it was really just IOS on a big screen, I prepared myself to walk out empty handed.
On the way out, I was asked if I needed help...explained my situation...and was directed by a likeminded windows/mac/ios/android user who was working at Best Buy to the Yoga 14. It's a ThinkPad, it has a pen, it's powered by Wacom, it's touch capable, it folds into a big tablet or as a stand, great keyboard, good memory, solid state, dedicated graphics, resolution good enough without being so great that an external monitor is a pain...... I was sold.
It's worked great for me and my needs.
My MacBook Pro doesn't get used at home.
My IMac doesn't often get turned on at the office.
I am really impressed with Windows 10 (this is my first experience, and I think If you're going to go with Win10 over Mac you NEED a touch experience).
I would recommend this laptop to anybody on the go, it's a great solid business tool with great battery life that also can play games or watch TV in bed to relax...
Just get one!
