Awesome touch screen laptop with nVidia graphics gtx 940 and Lenovo brought back the "stylus" in this generation ThinkPad Yoga. You can do all the tasks you need to get done, be lightweight portable, and still play some intense games. With Cortana on Windows 10, you can even talk to your laptop and she will answer you.

Really nice laptop for the price, size and storage. There are little things I wish were different but it has everthing I need and runs great. The touchscreen is nice to have when your browsing maybe on pinterest or Facebook or shopping and the keys even fold in so when your flipped to a tablet it doesn't press any buttons! It's quick and has a graphics card built in so that saved us some money and has a good amount of storage but also has multiple ports for external storage and other things.

Purchased mainly for use with lighting design and programming applications. Provides plenty of power, speed, and storage for intensive lightning console software. Adds excellent flexibility with built-in touchscreen, as well as tent mode to use a little space as possible on a desk and tablet mode for remote wireless applications. Touchscreen is sensitive and reactive enough for live event production without sacrificing screen resolution or quality, with decent fingerprint resistance. Would recommend for anyone that finds the touchscreen and flexibility of tent and tablet mode useful - otherwise, Lenovo has lower-grade models that also operate exceptionally.

Overall good computer for my uses but pretty heavy. It runs warm even on normal uses. It's a fingerprint magnet. ThinkPad still has the best keyboard of all time and the trackpoint is way more useful than the touchpad. There's a bit of light bleed at the bottom of the screen. Not enough to make me want to return it but still frustrating to see everytime. Luckily, I got this computer for a cheap price and it's usefulness outweighs the cons.

I do a lot of writing for work. This computer is amazing. It starts up instantly and flips from one task to another in a wink. You waste absolutely no time waiting for the screens to change. If I am leaving to a meeting or going home for the day, I don't have to wait several minutes for it to shut down.....oh, and I didn't even mention that you can write on the touch screen with the included pen. Wow. This is the best laptop I haver ever used/owned. Rugged and quick. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I had bought two of them. ABSOLUTE TRUTH. I LOVE IT. BUY IT.

    I loved this laptop until.....

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I wanted to love this laptop and I did for the first 60 days. The specs were exactly what I was looking for, decent processer, SSD, touch screen, 2 in 1. The computer was fast, and a joy to use, thought I wish the battery would last a little longer while playing videos. Loved the speed of an SSD, the keyboard and touch screen with digitizer. I’ve been a Lenovo fan for years, my first laptop was a ThinkPad, and I’ve used multiple copies at work T420&T440, without any issue. My wife bought one, a T220, for her small business and when she added an assistant she got her a T460. Now why do I have an issue with this? Well I’ve owned this computer for two months and I already have a cracked screen on a 60 day old computer. I treat my products with an above average care and have never cracked a screen on a phone or laptop. This laptop is primarily used in the house near a couch. As you can see on the pictures, there isn't a bit of physical damage to the computer. The screen just cracked as I was closing it one day. So, I'm not sure what may have caused this, but it is possible that the rubber feet that extrude upwards when you fold the screen were stuck upwards at some point when I closed the lid at some point. This may have put pressure on the screen and weakened it. The screen then cracked under the light pressure when closing the screen. Even more frustrating has been Lenovo support, which basically claimed this was accidental damage, which I disagree with. I have to believe that there is a design flaw that caused this whether it is a week glass or the potential problems the rubber feet can cause if they are not properly retracted. AT this point, Lenovo refuses to repair the computer under the warranty, they are willing to take it on service depot, but I’m not putting down a repair deposit when I won't know how much the repair is. If you are counting on Lenovo warranty to cover any issues in the first year please be aware and consider another warranty (maybe Geek Squad) that offers a more comprehensive protection against this type of damage. If you're looking at this computer, I strongly suggest you think about how this computer will be treated and if any additional warranty is required or if a different computer is a better fit for you. In the meantime I’m stuck with a broken screen I may have to stare at for a number of years before I’m ready for a replacement. Make sure this is the computer for you before purchasing; it worries me that I have a broken screen so soon and that the long term issues (lack of touch screen function) that a broken screen will/might cause. Maybe Best Buy will come through and help me out but at this point I’m not recommending this computer at this point, due to lack of warranty support and potential durability issues. Bought this laptop for our son going to college. After two months of use, my son has had nothing but rave reviews. The battery life provides a solid 7-8 hours of use, the wifi adapter provides excellent coverage, the convertible functionality with stylus is great for taking notes in class. The speed is lightning fast. My son is studying to be a research physicist and having a fast, solid, lightweight, durable laptop to run all the required programs for his rigorous curriculum is a big plus. His decision to go with the Lenovo Thinkpad versus the MacBook Pro has definitely paid off.

I've only had this ultrabook for a few weeks, but I've been really enjoying. It's a good sized screen, but still very light and portable. The battery life is insanely good, over 8 hours and it will fully charge in basically under an hour. I haven't really tested any gaming on it, but I'm sure it will perform. There's also a stylus built into the laptop that isn't overly advertised and it works great too. Whether for hand writing notes, or for drawing. Overall I'm very impressed and I hope this laptop lasts me 5+ years like my last one did.

Very durable product. It is a great size for study and entertainment. The battery life is very good. I deduct 1 star for a small design error, if you unplug your headphone while the laptop, next time when you turn on the machine, it thinks that the headphone is still there and would not make any sound through speaker until you plug the headphone back and unplug it.

After looking at this computer for a few months, I finally decided to take the plunge and buy this computer instead of a Surface product or customizing a Thinkpad Yoga on Lenovo's website. I was hesitant to purchase a customized computer without at least seeing a model in the store to know if I'd like it or not. I've only owned HP laptops. I was looking for a convertible computer with a stylus and dedicated graphics card so my options were pretty limited. The first machine I got wouldn't come out of sleep mode without powering the computer off so I returned it the next day after contacting Lenovo. I've had the 2nd machine for about a month now and haven't had any issues at all. I like the backlit keyboard, fast boot time and quietness of the machine. The stylus is great although I haven't really experimented with the WriteIt app yet. As others have mentioned, this machine is a little heavier than many of the convertible laptops, but it feels very durable and is lightweight when compared to my 10lb HP that is parked on my desk. I'm very pleased with this purchase and have no regrets.

I basically have been an Apple fanboy for years. When I went to look at a new laptop recently, I lost all love for Apple's MacBooks. I ended up with this excellent machine. Love the touch screen, the flexibility, the stylus, it's all great. And it boots up faster than your can say "Bob's your uncle". I use it mainly for work and have no problem running multiple MS office programs, while simultaneously running remote viewing of my work desktop. No performance issues at all. Battery life is decent.

Bought this for my Daughter in college that is an Art/Animation Major. She absolutely loves it. Not only can she use the touch screen with her Stylus to draw and do photoshop; as well many animation graphics. The computer is super fast and came with the Abode Suite that she needed for her Art Classes. Also, lots of storage and many extras. She can use the keyboard just like a laptop. Or flip it around and use it as a tablet. I would highly recommend this computer.

I like the fact it's two in one so touchscreen. And comes with its own pen. And it's pretty fast. Battery doesn't last long though. I still prefer my MAC but have to have something compatible with online school. Oh FYI the one I got came loaded with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Strongly recommend you use Firefox or Google Chrome with it!

I had some issues with my first Thinkpad. A button popped off in week two and would have needed sent out to repair so I got a replacement instead. The second Thinkpad has been working great. No issues. Love the touch screen and speed of use. Kind of pricey laptop but got a college deal! Recommend Geek Squad protection!

I bought the ThinkPad as a school laptop. I was looking at the Surface Pro, but the salesman mentioned this one. I love that it has a stylus, esp. one that charges itself upon returning to its holding place. Bending back the keyboard turns this into a tablet and also retracts the keys so there are no accidental keystrokes. I would give it a five but for two reasons. Occasionally I have to return the keyboard to its home position because the program won't let me log in. That only happens with certain programs and not all the time. The other issue is the stylus cursor moves off to the side of the screen. To fix this I just pull the stylus away from the screen and it resets. This is a quality laptop / tablet. It's lightweight and perfect for the school environment. And it doesn't get hot because of the SSD, which is also very fast for boot up.

This is my third Thinkpad over the last 12 years. I love these things. The case is much more durable than most. The touch pad and click buttons are also designed to last (big selling point for me). I keep buying them because they never break. My old ones are outdated, but still work! It's very fast and does everything I want.

I did a lot of research on what laptop to get and even compared to the pro 4. But for the price you can't beat it. Separate graphics card digitizer pen that charges when stored. When you flip the keyboard back the keys go inside for protection. And as far as the battery life. It will last all day and then some. Best laptop I have ever had. If you purchase this one yo uh will not regret it.

Sharp Graphics, Touch Screen and the best keyboard in the business make this a great laptop for just about anyone. It is a little heavier that the x1 Carbon and the T460s so it may be a bit heavier for a student. But it is still portable and a durrable laptop. Screen is glossy not matte so colors are more vibrant and text clearer to read. So far really happy with the purchase.
