Full disclaimer, I jumped in head first on this purchase. I'm very analytical on everything I buy but with this computer, I walked in, saw that it had an Nvidia 940M and bought it on the spot. Here's the thing - my first unit had some of the worst backlight bleed I have ever seen on a computer, most people might not have noticed or cared but it really got to me. I used it for a day and brought it back and bought another one. My second one does not have any of the backlight issue of the first but it does have one small stuck pixel off on the side, because of the 1920x1080 resolution, I can't see if unless I look for it - I'll let that one slide because I really do like this thing. Scratch. I love this thing. It's full of value, when we look at the price for what you are going to get, it's an amazing deal. Effectively, I have a convertible Ultrabook which is capable of both working and playing hard because of the Nvidia chip. Something the artist or meeting note taker "doodler" might enjoy is that this comes with a Wacom pen which is stored in the palm rest of the laptop. So, if you're in the market, take a chance on this. For the price, I honestly think that you won't find a better product, and with the return or exchange policy, if you do end up having bad luck you can always snag a new one like I did.

I love being able to use as tablet for reading & Laptop for email and work. This is replacing a surface and I like being able to use the keyboard more easily without a table or desk. I love having the track point as I've never like the pads. I can type and move the mouse when lounging around. The only issue I haven't resolved is that the track point doesn't wake up after going to sleep mode. Luckily, rebooting is quite fast.

This laptop is great with an amazing keyboard! This is one of the best typing experiences I have had. On another note they should really emphasize the pen that comes with the laptop. It works great, and should be showcased more! Although it is just an i5, it still has plenty of power. One big problem with this laptop is the battery life, it can last you a day but towards the end you are worried it will die on you. Other then the battery life this laptop is amazing!

I've always been so used to apple products and debated between the MacBook Air and the Lenovo Think Pad (since they were the same price at that time) but the Best Buy sales rep ran me down the pros and cons of both laptops and I decided to go with the ThinkPad. As a college student myself I feel that it is great for taking notes during lectures. I liked the idea of it being able to be a tablet but I found that I barely ever use it that way. Although the screen being a touch screen makes it easy to get from point A to B. However my laptop went through a bit of a 'phase' where the mouse pad did not work at all. I kept resetting it but no change. Good thing the touch screen still worked so I was able to manage. It got frustrating so I ended up turning it off and leaving it for a week and when I came back to it everything was back to normal. Overall I really like this laptop and the way it runs.

Having not purchased a laptop for the past 15 years (I've always depended on my work issued machine), I wasn't sure what to expect. While probably a bit bulkier than others I love the touch screen, stylus, and overall performance of this computer. This is my first Lenovo and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another given my experience.

This computer is really good for my job. It's built tough so if you drop it you don't have to worry about damaging it. It's pretty fast and I love the touch screen because it makes it so much easier to get people to sign offers and things like that. I also like how easy it is to cut and paste. I would recommend this product to anyone business person

This laptop is the best laptop for just about anyone. i5 is plenty fast enough for everything from checking emails to light gaming with the graphics set down lower. 256GB SSD is very fast. Not the fastest that's out there but way quicker than a HDD. Screen is nice an crisp, good decision going for a 1080p screen to save battery power which is also great on this device. I'm averaging around 8.5 hrs. Touchscreen works flawlessly and the pen is pretty good outside of the distance the pen needs to be from the screen to register and sometimes ill be taking notes and it does not register at all so I need to give it a second. Plenty of ports, light but super sturdy and durable, backlit keyboard which is fantastic. Best laptop for the money.

This is my first Lenovo (after many HP's) and I like it so far, It is light and the keyboard is great! The thinkpad stylus that comes with the computer did not work at first. I brought it in to have the Geek squad take a look at it and they did not know that a pen came with this laptop neither did the salesperson, it is very well hidden! The pen is located under the lower left corner. The geek squad did an excellent job of finding the problem and fixed it. Very happy with service and laptop.

This is a good laptop, a little on the heavier side, weightwise. My only issue has been returning to Geek Squad times three because it locks with software issues...all microsoft of course.

The only problem I have had is that the alert sounds suggest that the speaker rattle or mount problems, which is annoying. But the sound in YouTube suggests the opposite, since that sound quality is very good. I would prefer a 4.8 rating since a whole point off is too much for this issue.

This laptop took me through my grad school computer science curriculum. Excellent build quality. I used the touch screen and stylus as whiteboard during presentation and online meetings, The hinge gets a bit wobbly after a few years but not unstable.

Ths computer was exactly what I needed. Not as thin and compact as the x1 yoga, or the x1 carbon, but for a fraction of the price it was perfect. Great display. Fast enough for everything I needed it for. (Business school)

It has a good price with the performance. So I recommend it.

This laptop is the best if you do not care about very sharp texts. You can not read on it for a long time. The touch pad is not as responsive as yoga or mac book pro but still not a deal breaker. good bang for the bucks!

My husband and I own our own business and he goes through laptops pretty quickly, but I was tired of him being unhappy with the cheaper ones. I splurged a little on this one, but very glad that I did. I am not much on the technical part of it, but he hasn't complained about this laptop once since he's had it.

My first laptop was a Thinkpad so I've been partial to them. When I saw this ThinkPad while shopping for a new laptop, I was impressed with the size, performance and price. It offers great value for the price.
