I thought this machine had 4 USB ports when I bought it but later found only three which seems a lot nowdays. One was to be used for a wireless headset but the Bluetooth covered that problem and three turns out to be plenty for my use. The battery run time usually indicates a lot less than what it ultimately seems to get, and when using Wi-Fi for video and the Bluetooth drain it won't get near the 7.5 hours or more hoped for on battery power. In simple use it probably does close or exceeds the 7.5 hour expected battery life, but 4-5 hours easily gotten is plenty for me in general. Screen resolution is great. I am new to windows 8 and can't really rave about it. In summary I am very happy so far and even knowing what I know now I would buy this machine again.

I have had three IBM / Lenovo Thinkpad laptops through work and they have all performed well above the other brands that I have used in the past. The Thinkpad is a reliable and durable laptop that I purchased for my personal use at home. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I found this laptop to be a great value. It is getting hard to find a laptop with decent power, RAM and storage. Nice size screen and hard drive. Lenovo is building sleek laptops that are very durable. I like the retracting keys when opening to tablet mode.

I purchased this after finally feeling the need for a laptop again after selling off my last rMBP. I used to be a huge thinkpad fan since the IBM days and until T420, X220 sandybridge era. But when all the competition had came out with brilliant displays, completely devastating any screen that you can find on any thinkpad at the time, I just had to ditch and go with different laptops. And since, I have gone through a few samsung series 9s, various macbooks, etc. After finally seeing that their new thinkpad offerings (which in everyway seemed and felt more like their ideapad lines) had finally caught up with today's display standards, I wanted to give one of them a go.
Truth be told, I honestly kinda thought that this would have at least a 128 SSD Standard, none of the HDD options and I blindly purchased this one thinking that, I was at the store and was running out of time to my appointment. It was my mistake but here's my experience so far on this one apart from the obvious slowness that comes with a mechanical drive.
Build - nothing that resembles a thinkpad. It creaks, bends, wobbles when I switch modes, though not too severely. It still affects it and it is an annoyance, that you would not expect from any T, X, W models.
Fan - It seriously kicks up just out of nowhere every now and then, just having a few tabs open on internet explorer with nothing flashy going on. Very noticeable, though I do not really feel it getting hot.
Keyboard - Keyboards OK but did not feel special at all, just every other island chiclet style out there.
Touchpad - HORRIBLE. not very responsive, nothing unusable or anything like that, but the fact that it is missing the physical thinkpad buttons basically renderes the softkeys that replaced it useless. Might as well skip it all together and even leave out the red nipple if they wanted to do sometihng like that.
Also, I am not sure if this was one of the models affected by superfish, and I really do not care, but the HUGE amount of bloatware regardless of the fact, along with this slow slow slow HDD, this computer feels nothing like it should, and it is just horrendously unpleasant to use right out of the box. You would have to go through some work to get it cleaned up. I felt like I had just bought an HP computer from around 2010. That should tell you much.

The huge 1TB hard drive with hybrid super fast drive makes it boot very fast. Battery lasts for about 5 hours. Gets heated after a long use. I am getting a laptop cooler for that. Flipping the screen 360 and using it as tablet is also a great plus.

The computer is a nice size for portability and has a great keyboard. I am very picky about the keyboard so that feature was very important to me. It is quick to boot up and load programs.

I bought this computer for my wife. Having a touch screen is really nice to have and we start to get annoyed with computers that do not. But a touch screen is not as effective as it can be unless you can get the keyboard out of the way. That is what I love about the yoga, you can fold the keyboard out of the way and just interact directly with the screen. But this is still a full powered computer with a real keyboard, not a tablet. Best of both worlds.

On the second day of owning this computer the motherboard started acting up & the computer would shut off anytime I picked up the computer. I was also very critical of the build of this computer as the online reviews called this a military grade build, but was actually very floppy, much more so than its competitors.

Replacing a 17 inch Laptop with this 2-in-1 may not be the smartest thing with my old eyes, but this also replaced my 10 inch tablet for travel. Don't like windows 8.1 but that's a different issue. My only complaint, so far, is the the touch pad is a wee bit too sensitive. All in all, it;s like a good all-purpose tool.

The ThinkPad works great. The biggest adjustment was getting used Windows 8.1 but that's not Lenovo's fault. The picture is High-quality. It is a little heavy but compared to my old computer it's almost a feather weight.

It's great I love the flexibility between a laptop and tablet. It's got some weight to it compared to other laptops which if your not good with fragile things like me it will suit you well. The only complaint is there no cd/DVDs disk thing on it you have to purchase an external port

This laptop was to replace a Yoga2pro i7 8GB ram 256SSD. My yoga2pro motherboard died 6 months after I bought it and this was my replacement laptop. The specs on this laptop are pathetic, i5 8gb ram, 1tb hybrid drive. I noticed a huge slowness with the laptop right away. It took a while to boot up and to access any folders. After 30 days, I started getting an error that there was something wrong with the battery and now 45 days later, a whole line of pixels died on the display. I will be taking this back today and try and get a different brand. I thought Lenovo was top of the line but I was mistaken.

I have been using a desktop and iPad. one thing missing was being able to sit in my easy chair and do things that the iPad could not do for me. so I looked around and ended up with the Lenovo. it's fast enough to do whatever i have asked of it so far. Mostly financial stuff, movies, some gaming and web searching. It is great for sitting back in your easy chair and having all the capabilities of a full PC. one that you can bend the screen to whatever angle you want and enjoy. i have not run into any problems with it.

I got this laptop for 5 reasons. One it was a thinkpad and the quality is outstanding. Two it has a dedicated video card and can hook up to my tv easily without purschasing extra wires since I had a Hdmi cords sitting around. Three it is ultraportable and is a yoga. Four it was a better deal than the MacBook air. Five my desktop crashed and I needed a computer asap. I'm glad I got this as my replacement.
The only con here is battery life but when you have a dedicated graphics card it is hard to complain about.

It has taken me a bit of time to get used to the smaller keyboard, but it gets easier every time I use it. There are a lot of bells and whistles that I haven't figured out yet. Enjoying my Lenovo ThinkPad
