Not all its talked up to be. turns to a half screen spontaneously , too many apps, options, etc

My first laptop purchase. Fun, fast and versatile.

Purchased for my son. The first one we purchased had some glitches and was returned 2 days later and exchanged for a second machine with no hassle at all. The second computer is performing as expected.

Had to return first one because all of the externally plug in stopped working . Got a new one and seconds one froze on me and internet wouldn't go off but wouldn't connect to server. Took it in and exchanged it for another computer.

This is durable, long lasting computer. Has modern technology and has plenty of data. Worth every penny.

I bought a refurbished laptop for the first time but the space bar on the keyboard wasnt working so I had to return it. This is the 1st time I had a bad experience with a Lenove.

Disappointed to see such a new computer having problems. The screen blinks after using for a few minutes. Have to go to store for repair or replacement. Only had it for a few weeks.

I think the biggest surprise I got when I unboxed my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 14 was the build quality. I actually traded in my 1st gen Surface Pro 128GB towards the purchase of the Yoga, and most of the rest of my family members own Macs, so I'm very familiar with quality built computers. The Lenovo feels slightly less rigid than a macbook pro, but far more flexible and versitile. One of my biggest frustrations with this purchase was not the purchase itself, but the amount of options out there and the amount of things I'd love to see, but aren't available. My first issue is that I'd much rather buy an apple product and just load Windows on boot camp, but I wanted a convertible laptop since I was replacing a Surface. Unfortunately, Apple has no plans on making such a useful piece of equipment. I looked at many other convertibles, including the Dell XPS 12 and the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. The Dell's build quality was very low in my opinion, and although the build quality of the 3 Pro was very high, I was really disappointed in its lackluster battery life and (especially), it's sub-standard overall processing power. The last piece of tech I was looking at was the surface pro 3. Now, If I wanted a tablet PC with a floppy keyboard, I wouldn't have given another thought to the Pro 3 and just went and picked it up. My issue has been that the surface is completely unuseable when relaxing on the couch IF you also want to use the keyboard. All of those things are what finally lead me to the Thinkpad Yoga 14. It's the perfect blend of laptop and tablet. I especially love how the keys are locked when the device's display starts to bend past the 180 degree mark. What really wowed me about this convertible is it's overall stats. 7+ hours of battery life with Powerful i5 processor 8GB of RAM TONS of drive space (1 TB) Discreet graphics (Great for moderate gaming!!!) Overall build quality And those are just a small taste of the list of reasons why this convertible is a perfect choice for me. At the very least, if this gem is in your list of possible purchases, do yourself a favor and go check one out at your local Best Buy. Even if you don't end up getting one, it may change the list of things that are important to you when you finally make a purchase.
