Customers admire the Yoga 2's long battery life, ease of use, light weight, and compact size, frequently praising its convenient design and helpful kickstand. However, the keyboard's magnetic attachment and the lack of a full-sized USB port are common points of concern. Some users also found the limited storage capacity and the somewhat awkward stand to be drawbacks.

I got this to use primarily on the road for work. Having a year of MS office included is a great perk and the screen is nice, with good viewing angles. Only complaint is the bluetooth keyboard, which seems to drop out of sync randomly and a small defect in the screen glass that looks like a small chip, which is usually not noticeable but I'm kind of OCD. Battery life is great. The design has some tradeoffs, but I think the benefits outweigh the cons. Windows 8 apps from the MS app store aren't all that great but all apps run without too much slowdown.
For anyone wondering, it runs HearthStone pretty darn well!

Only had this for a few days (at time of review), but this is a nice tablet. Right now, Windows 8.1 is NOT terribly friendly with tablets, in my opinion. Apple's iOS and Google's Android are far superior. However, Win8.1 let's you run all those 'other' programs that you just can't do in iOS or Android environments. This Lenovo is a pretty good compromise. The battery life is fantastic. The screen is crisp.
The 'touch' screen works very well. It includes a bluetooth keyboard with a built-in touchpad; the only gripe with the keyboard is that the touchpad can sometimes be a bit finicky. Every so often it will shoot off to a corner of the screen or not register a click, but on the whole, it's about 98% there.
The Atom processor isn't terribly powerful, but I was actually to play a couple [not terribly demanding] games off Steam. Minecraft worked, too, but don't think you're going to mod it up with craziness and run at an acceptable framerate.
The 2GB of RAM is key. I tried an HP Stream 7 tablet, but that screen was too small to work with Win8.1, and the 1GB RAM and anemid WiFi made it a chore to use. The Lenovo can actually see a 5GHz network and it gets download speeds comparable to any of my other devices/phone/computer/etc...
In all, if you need to run some full Windows programs and want great battery on a really nice screen for a great price, this table fits the bill. No doubt a Surface 3 would be better, but you'll be paying 4-5 times the price.

This tablet was the perfect price that I was looking for. I didn't want a cheap $100 tablet, but $1000 is too much. An in-between price led to a decent product still.
The keyboard is great, I just am not used to going back and forth between touch-screen and keyboard. The on-screen keyboard pops up sometimes when I don't need it, shrinking the web browser page. It's easy to drag it back, but could be annoying.
The thing I miss most is a USB port, but with Dropbox nowadays, it's not often missed.
I love how quiet it is without a processor or fan though and it does everything I need.

I like the battery life and the sharp display. The magnetically detachable keyboard/cover is good for typing (I'm a touch-typist). I also like the way the battery (at least I think it is the battery) serves as a nice "handhold" when I'm grasping the unit as a tablet in portrait mode. Performance is more than adequate for surfing, text editing, movie watching, and simiar activites.
I've not used the "nail hole" but that is an interesting feature.

I had to do an assigment in 20minminutes. I used excel and word right in my car seat. I set the screen in my stering wheel and the keyboard on my lap and it was great. I love the tablet. Good speakers, great for notes and voice recording. Super flexible i love the fact that i can seat back and type while tge screan os Just there. Keybord sometimes lags (bluetooth) great battery life. can only charge with original charger, and cable is small. But over all i love it.

Tablet seems to work well, no concerns on reliability, etc. The kickstand on the back is a bit cumbersome, requires some effort to get to pop out. I like the kickstand, just not as easy to use as should be. The windows button on the screen is not very sensitive. Sort have to hold it down for a full second to get it to respond. The bluetooth keyboard works fine, and doubles as a cover, but it is connected basically when the cylinder part of the tablet fits into a kind of half cylinder on the keyboard and held in place by basically a magnet. This causes the keyboard to fall off sometimes or easily come unattached while holding it. If sitting on a table, works great. To me those are all design flaws that I can live with, but wish were better.

So, there is an issue of not having a good USB port for attaching a USB mouse. Best solution? Bluetooth mouse.
HOWEVER, I think that the bluetooth mouse was causing the keyboard to have temporary disconnects. This is a limitation of the tablet instead of a limitation of the bluetooth spec, as I have never had this issue with any other device.
Note that this will run Minecraft if you use Optifine Minecraft. Runs it pretty well! Except the keyboard dropouts.

It has a great kick stand and the touchscreen is very responsive. The large battery along one edge makes a good handle. I use it as a tablet in portrait mode. I use both the metro interface and the standard desktop. Best Windows 8.1 machine I've owned.

The Yoga 2 10" with keyboard is a really handy computer to have. It fits in my purse and doesn't weigh much. The screen resolution is very nice. I have a larger Yoga 2 13" with an i7 processor and 8GB Ram and I love it. But the 13" one is larger and not as easy to take places. The Yoga 2 10 only has 2GB RAM and a different processor, but it loads pretty fast. I bought it to use as an eBook reader and as a way to access the Internet when I didn't want to carry the larger compute. It's definitely served this purpose. I work in a building where the WIFI is difficult to access due to shielding, but the Yoga has never failed to access the Internet when my smartphone has failed.

After having this tablet on my wishlist for over a year, we finally got a couple of them with a great price at Bestbuy. Very stylish and versatile with an amazing screen resolution and battery life in a portable form factor. Plus the free Windows 10 upgrade was smooth and now makes the tablet more useful.

Don't expect to do any serious number crunching with this; the CPU will bottleneck it on media-intensive websites. That said, it's a very convenient way to keep a Windows-based system around for people who only need basic word processing and media abilities. Beats my old Nexus 7 for versatility by a mile when it comes to writing on the go. Great battery life too, which is a huge plus.

I was looking for a replacement for my iPad, and the Android tablet systems did not interest me at all. When I saw that Lenovo introduced this model I had to take a look. My local BestBuy store had them in stock when I visited, but did not have one on display yet. The service staff was great and set one up for me while I waited. Needless to say I purchased one. Crisp and responsive display, Windows 8 runs well with the snappy Intel Atom processor, and the whole tablet seems solidly built and does not flex when you hold it. Windows 8 paired with the included Bluetooth keyboard right away. Battery life so far has been good.

Set it up to look like my laptop and with the 64 GB micro SD card added aftermarket was able to store a lot of books, music and other files I need when I am away from home. Windows 8 runs well on it and the keyboard is okay in a pinch, although I wouldn't want to write a book on it. Overall perfect for those who would like the size of a tablet with the power of a laptop.

I like the design. Screen brightness is really good. Also the 1080p screen is fantastic. Battery life is way better than any other tablet in the market right now. I get around 12-14 hours. But it takes around 6-8 hours to charge. I charge overnight. Keyborad looks cool and beautiful.

Is it so difficult to build in an USB port?

OK with reasonable price. But is it that difficult to build in an USB port? If you use it, you know what I am talking about. Also, the quality of keyboard is as poor as that of the previous generation. And I even prefer the keyboard design of gen 1, which covers the tablet better.

The time I got to have my tablet I loved it. The design was convenient for both class and work, it was fairly easy to figure out. But two weeks into my new technology relationship, it quit charging. Currently off being repaired, but it was great while it lasted.

I'm pretty happy with this laptop. I mostly use it for word processing and work. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes the bluetooth keyboard that came with it bugs out pretty bad and will repeat the last input until I restart the computer, even if I (typing AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA or whatever).

It's very nice to have tablet that will do all windows functions. Even though processor not fast, it does well on typical stuff. Keyboard doesn't attach well, comes off too easily. Battery in tablet doesn't last very long and charges very slowly, had to use different charging cord since the one that came with it took 24 hours to charge. Now with different cable charges overnight.
