Not a fan of touch screen

Anytime I’m discussing something with my accountant or assistant and pointing to the screen, it picks up the heat of my finger (without touching the screen) and takes me to another page or another area of the software. I then have to stop and take time to go back to the report or page we were on. This is very frustrating.
