I have used it for 2 months now. The built-in camera is great. I love the touch screen feature. Sometimes I wish it was a little bit bigger while I'm teaching. I also would love a ten-key number pad, but otherwise I love the compactness of this computer! I use it every day at home and at work. Also, I love being able to charge my cell phone on it!

GREAT LAPTOP

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lenovo 730 2 in 1 replaced a Toshiba Satellite 4GB, 500GB hard drive laptop which was getting finicky and very slow. The Lenovo 12GB 256 SSD set up was very simple. Downloaded or transferred programs and files from subscriptions and external drive backup. Never could get the fingerprint option set up, however. But no problem. I use the laptop in my home/office environment, WiFi, Internet, etc. I have a lot of Excel, Word, and Adobe files. I have experienced no issues so far. Screen resolution is great. Disappointed with the lack of DVD drive and limited number of USSB ports, but solved with external drive and multi-port USB hub. Have not used the flip-screen notebook feature yet. I would recommend this machine to most users, except the most serious gamer.

When we went into Best Buy we really had no intention of buying a laptop that day, but wanted to shop and compare. With the help of Jake; BB associate, we were thoroughly educated and informed about laptops. We ended up buying the laptop that day. It has a touch screen and it’s very easy to use.

good work laptop

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a great work computer but I will say that i hardly use the touch screen on it. and it can run some games on it that are easier to play. i got it last year and i keep it plugged in constantly. the batter expanded so i need to get that fixed but that is the only issue Ivehad with it.

The Best Buy student deals were attractive and the online ordering and delivery process was very smooth. For the price, it has all the features - the only complaint is the surface of the laptop catches finger marks very quickly so you might want a laptop skin to protect the surface. Otherwise, very good!

Before purchasing this I would constantly get calls for helping speed up their old laptop or troublshoot, since getting this Lenovo with SSD and 12gb RAM, NOT A SINGLE CALL! They love it to this day and it runs just as good as day 1!

I am using this as a work and personal laptop. I do a lot of writing and programming and this laptop can handle everything while being quiet and without getting hot. More than a decade ago, while back in school, my first laptop was a lenovo that I used for a long time and though obsolete now, it is still working great. I have been using Macbook pro since past few years and that one started getting loud and hot even while streaming videos so I had been looking to buy a new one. There was a phase in between where even decent laptops had become outrageously expensive, and that's why I was pleasantly surprised when I found this laptop with i5 processor at an affordable price. I was initially worried with the gap in right hinge and screen but later found out that it is part of the design and not a flaw. The hinge does not inspire confidence but it doesn't bother me because I won't be using such a big screen as a tablet anyway. A perfect lenovo keyboard, great configuration, good screen, and a fingerprint reader makes it a fast and secure laptop. All this at a reasonable price make it a great package that I can highly recommend for work and school.

Lightweight & great performance

And the Yoga definitely delivers on performance, looks, and functionality. I love the fingerprint sensor, the quick start up, and I write programs on this laptop and test them without any hitch so far. This is my first time owning a LENOVO, and I must say, they didn't disappoint.

Boot time and general speeds are fast. Only negatives would be that I wish the display was brighter, and make sure you update the driver for the fingerprint scanner. That will fix the issue most are complaining about. Verdict: Get it on sale(not worth $800) but it is a great bargain in the $600+ range.

The only drawback so far is that the keyboard is starting to imprint on the screen. I would recommend that users place a protective sheet between the screen and keyboard when travelling with it closed.

The computer turns on quickly and everything loads super quick. Love the touch screen and the versatility. The color is great and the size is a little big but it is still light weight. I was able to get a USB SD card reader and works perfectly (does not come with a reader).

Very nice to watch movies on especially since you can fold the screen back into a tablet or even fold it in half and kinda make a laptop stand for itself lol. Backlit keyboard is one of the best. It’s very thin and lightweight for being such a decent screen size.

I like the option of touch or no touch as it is hard for my husband to make changes. So we can use mouse or no mouse. Nice, compact. No keypad for numbers on this one that makes it very compact.
