Very slim design and lightweight. Good battery life. Loving it so far. My only complaint is that the fingerprint doesn't work for me most of the time. Not a huge deal since I set a pin and it's pretty quick to type that in, but a little disappointed that feature doesn't work better.

It’s lightning-fast in terms of speed, and has beautiful, sharp graphics. I like the fact that it has a good-sized screen, yet is small enough and light enough to carry to and from school in my backpack. It does everything I need it to do, so overall, I’d say that it’s a great laptop for students such as myself!

I needed a laptop for basic computer work and all the features of this laptop make it exceed my expectations. I was replacing a 2011 laptop that was very slow. This is fast to boot up and updates quickly. The features are very intuitive. I would recommend.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 8GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard and another 4GB within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. The maximum RAM this system can support is 16GB, so your certified technician can remove the 4GB RAM stick and replace it with an 8GB stick, for a maximum system total RAM of 16GB.

But, change can be good. I really like the touch screen and able to fold into tablet size. It works beautifully, and I am on it everyday doing my work at home.

Still not useful as a pad because the screen doesn't fold back all the way. Touch screen is useful for logging into system and websites you've saved. It's not a deal changer so if you have another unit you like for a lot less don't let the Touch Bar stop you.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy my Lenovo Yoga, after doing a lot of research I decided to go with this particular model because it has an I7 and 12 GB of RAM. It has the fastest startup of any computer I have ever used. The fingerprint reader works for me 90% of the time and if it doesn't I reposition my finger and it unlocks. I have used Fusion 360, a CAD software without any issues. Surfing the internet with multiple tabs open is fast. I actually haven't spent too much time on it because if I need to look something up it loads so fast that I am finished in a few minutes. Where my other laptop I would have to wait to load application. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the battery life. It has been frustrating. The battery percentage appears to be accurate but the time remaining is all over the place. For example, at 75%, one minute it will read 10 hrs, if I check it five minutes later it will read 2hrs remaining, and at 70% it will read 4hrs remaining. All without me changing any settings or applications. My old laptop always had an accurate time remaining. Even after all the updates its strange that this new one is so off.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. With regard to the fluctuating battery life indicator, first, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all of the BIOS files and drivers, including those operating files controlling the battery life indicator, up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help

Great laptop for college kid

We looked at several but chose this one due to its reviews and features. College hasn't started yet but he has used it for setting up classes and other such things and it seems to be just fine. So far so good. Time will tell.

Cons: The matte finish shows fingerprints. A dedicated Fn key row would be useful but most people don't need that. The backlit kb is nice but I wish there was an auto on/off option. The backlit needs to be manually turned on/off.

Initially bought a nice, pricey laptop from another major brand which also had the ability to fold like a tablet and had a touch screen. That first laptop irreparably broke 9 months after purchase, and repeated returns to manufacturer have been a waste of time as the computer is toast. I bring this up to hopefully give you context for the purchase of this product. This Lenovo laptop is beautiful. The screen is absolutely crisp and bright and I love its apparent high-quality. I am entirely apprehensive to give any computer five stars at this point because I have seen nice things fall apart within the warranty and still be left high and dry and nearly one thousand bucks in the dumpster. If this computer makes it past a year without any major failures, I will be thrilled and shout my accolades from the rooftops. I am hopeful but obviously jaded.

It took a bit to get my fat fingers use to the smaller keyboard and now it is all good. I haven't had any problems out of it and I use it all the time. I work from home and this poor little computer rarely gets turned off. Sometimes I feel sorry for it and restart it just to give it a break. It has been great. It does everything I need it to do. The memory isn't as big as I am used to but an external HD took care of that and actually keeps the computer running faster. WIN/WIN I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little workhorse and not wanting to spend a ton of money.
