In terms of raw performance, this thing's spec is overkill for a Chromebook, but it's definitely nice to have that overhead for future-proofing sake. The only thing I don't like is its tendencies to pick up fingerprints, as well as the lack of backlit keyboard.

I've had my new chromebook for about a month now and have been very impressed with the performance, display, and battery life.
The unit is very thin and I get compliments on it all the time.
Thus far I've only identified two cons with this unit
1. Limited ports: The unit has 1 USB port and 2 USB (C) ports however one of the (C) ports is for the power cord. I typically have a mouse plugged into the USB port leaving me only 1 free port.
2. Weak Space Bar: The space bar on this unit isn't very responsive on the edges. It spans across 5 keys and I only get consistent responsiveness from the middle section / key. I would have taken the unit back, but I purchased an open box and cannot unfortunately. When I need to do more exhaustive typing I connect a keyboard.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga C630-15 Chromebook. If you need more standard USB ports for the Yoga C630-15 Chromebook, you might consider using a portable USB Hub with this device. Good build quality but too big and heavy

I bought this because I had to itch to use a Chromebook again and to replace my Android tablet. I was using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and it was a very good tablet but the issue came from the lack of support for Android tablets in general.
Chromebooks on the other hand support Android apps but because it is not their primary focus, it suddenly seems OK if something doesn't work because I can always just use the full Chrome browser as a substitute. I spent about a week with this Lenovo before I decided to return it and here are the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Specs. Core i5, 8GB RAM and 128GB is a good combination
- Build quality. All metal body and sleek feel, very much like an Ultrabook.
- I/Os. Two USB-C that you can charge from either side, one USB-A because we still need them and a headphone jack.
- Display. It's a 1080p display with decent lighting. It's good for web browsing and media consumption. I'm aware that there is a 4k version but it seems to be unavailable everywhere.
- Battery life. I charged the device once after setup and used it each day for about an hour for a week.
- Linux support. This means you can install a lot of "desktop" apps like Steam, Libre Office and more.
- Price. Depending on the sale, this is a good $550-$600 device and beats anything else in the price range.
Cons:
- No back-lit keyboard. The fact that the model sold by Best Buy doesn't include keyboard lighting for no reason is disappointing.
- Heavy. The device is quite heavy which adds to the overall weight of your bag if you carry it with you everywhere like I do. But this is the price to pay for premium build quality.
- Size. 15.6" is a standard size for most laptops but I think I prefer 12" or 13" for Chromebooks. I wouldn't mind if they had made a smaller version of the C630 where they eliminated the spaces on each side of the keyboard to achieve a 13" size. It's also fits too tight in my backpack and I'm afraid the zipper will damage the corners. With the 360 hinges you can go full tablet mode but I don't recommend it.
- Price. Again, this is depending on current sales. I don't recommend buying this Chromebook at full MSRP because it is too high of a price for what you get and don't get. $550~$600 is ideal.
Overall, this is a very good Chromebook. Good specs, good I/O, very good build quality and battery life. I ended up returning it because it was too big for a device replacing a tablet and didn't fit well in my every day bag.

Google Chromebook with Chrome OS are really something you can rely on for your daily computer use. When coming to price, they cost less than windows and way less than apple computers. But that's not all! I can buy this laptop for my kids knowing or sure that they will not brake it the next day... They can't get somewhere where they should not! They can't damage the system by accidentally deleting files, they just can get their stuff done.
Also, you don't have to pay M$ for editing software or other school related items.
Chrome OS is more capable than before and with time going it is growing up in the right direction. You can just do everything you could do with other computers with less risk.

I bought a Lenovo Yoga windows 8 laptop in 2014 and really loved it. I was in the market for a newer one and only looked at Lenovo. I had never used a Chromebook before and some of the reviews were not great but I bought it anyway. I love it. It is super fast. It is quite different from Windows. I am retired now and do not need the Microsoft Word, Excel, etc, which ChromeBook does not have. However, you can get the ChromeBook version on-line and it works just fine. My husband Skype with our children and grandchildren quite often (especially with Covid19) and Skype opens within seconds. Love the speed. I woudl buy it again.

Loved it for 1st four months, then issues keep creeping up. Sound level @ max now 50% of previous. Camera function and microphone are inaccessible in settings and function intermittently in Zoom and Microsoft meetings. Laptop freezes up periodically for no apparent reason and the shutdown/restart process is difficult in that frozen state.
Quiet fan rarely runs, nice bright screen. Battery lasts a long time , although it has a modern 10th gen chip many google/android apps are not designed to function on this unit.

Most everything I use is Google related, so I decided to try a Chromebook this time. I love the large screen of the Yoga and the flexibility. I'm still getting used to not having the WIndows software, but that is what I was going for. A WIndows computer becomes more expensive when you start having to purchase everything else. This is to skip everything else. It is growing on me rapidly. Keyboard works well, but I'm still getting use to no delete key. Yes, I know. You can alt-backspace for the delete, but old habits are hard to break.

This was super easy to use and intuitive for our 8 year old. He needed a machine to do school from home. His only significant complaint was the Zoom app for chrome, was not as intuitive as the Zoom app for PC. So he wasn’t able to do virtual backgrounds like his friends.
The price point did feel high for the hardware received, versus other options. We purchased this because it was all that was available at the time in the price range
