I had a Yoga 7i laptop/notebook, and because it has two hinges - so it could flip all the way around - one of the hinges broke which connects to the monitor. Rather than have it sent out and returned - the weak hinge issue would still be there. So I upgraded to the Yoga Pro 91 with double the ram and - I'm so glad I did. Being just the laptop there isn't a hinge issue and the extra ram allows me to have multiple windows open and plenty of RAM (32) so that there is more speed in uploading and saving in the the Yoga 7i. The 9i speed in copying files to and from my external HD is much faster also. The Dolby sound and displa y are better also. I have had this for 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier. I also had the Geek Squad transfer the files from the 7i to the 9i and they did a great job in record time ! ------------------------------ As others mentioned - the battery life when disconnected is about a couple of hours, but I do not do that too often so it is not a big deal for me. The Geek Squad also told me not to leave it plugged in all the time, as it needs to cycle down periodically in order to extend the battery's lifetime. That, I did not know. Thank you Ms. Geek for your invaluable advice!

This is a powerful machine with robust performance. I required 32GB of RAM, and it met my needs perfectly. However, it consumes battery quickly, so keep it near a power source. Fortunately, it recharges rapidly, and battery life wasn’t a major concern for me. Its large size reduces portability. I recommend it if you prioritize speed and a big screen. The build quality is solid but doesn’t quite match Dell, Microsoft, or Apple standards.

I love my Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i laptop!!! It is all and more than the reviews on Youtube from @JustJoshTech and @AndrewMarcDavid said about it, they gave it very high ratings. I am particular and did a ton of research before purchasing, made multiple trips to see all my options before going with the Yoga Pro 9i. I use it for general computing, coding, technical work including WSL etc. The aluminum chassis is solid in the hands and has an extremely high build quality. The screen is excellent, keyboard and touchpad are responsive, quiet, accurate and smooth. Oh and the speakers sound amazing!! The Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processer takes everything in stride and having the NVIDIA RTX 4050 is nice though I don't use it's power too often with my use case. The thermals are excellent, you rarely hear the fans and when you do they are very subtle. The surface temperature on the keyboard deck is cool to the touch, the underside of the laptop also stays cool. With a task like installing software, the fans will kick on and subside once done. In Lenovo Vantage software I set cooling to the Adaptive Power mode and Windows on Balanced Power mode. Good things to know are it is a 16" laptop and not the lightest but a nice thin form factor, making it easy to travel with. I have a 2024 16" Dell XPS work laptop and they are very similar with size and weight. The battery is good and with appropriate settings can last between 5-6 hours. Considering the hardware, I think it is fair but this is one area that could be improved in my opinion. I highly recommend the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i!!

After upgrading from my old laptop of 10 years this was a pretty huge jump. Finally. After millennia, I can open Minecraft and a design software without the fans kicking into high gear and sounding like a jet engine about to explode. The screen is really bright and the audio crisp. I can actually see what I'm working with. But then again, I have been living in a cave for the past decade. It's sleek and lightweight, making it extremely portable despite its size. My only real beef is the battery. It dies as soon as I open a simple game or design program for too long. You have to plug it in almost immediately or else it'll shoot to zero as soon as you turn away. I mean you get what you paid for and it's not a PC so the limitations are understandable. But I would get the battery swapped before the warranty is over and extend said warranty just in case.

It’s a really good laptop with a sleek design. I love the touchscreen, though it’s not very sensitive. It doesn’t support rotation or a stylus, which I find a bit disappointing. On the plus side, I love the keyboard—it comes with a full standard layout, including a number pad on the right, which is super convenient. The trackpad also feels great. It’s not super premium, but it definitely gets the job done well. As for the speakers, there’s nothing too special to mention—they’re pretty standard. One of the drawbacks, however, is the hinge. When you open or close the laptop, it makes some noises, and I’m fairly certain that over time—maybe within a year—you’ll run into problems with it. I’d still recommend this laptop if you can grab it on sale, like I did. But at the full price of $1,700, it might not be worth it. If Lenovo fixes the hinge issue, I honestly think this could be one of the best laptops on the market.

Very pleased with the Lenova laptop by Best Buy. Purchased an open box, excellent condition and it looks brand new. Easy set up and loading of software. Screen is very clear and the touch screen works great. Excellent speed of processing.

I returned my brand new 4tb macbook pro and decided to try the Lenova Yoga Pro 9i and for my computer use it was a great decision to put some money back in my pocket. Great screen, awesome top mounted speakers with a great sound not as good as that macs but it wasn't too far off. Gaming is decent i could play madden but it wasn't as smooth as my ps5 but it was decent. I would advise a Xbox or Pc controller for smoother use. Also windows over Mac buy yards in app available and user ability xbox game play is a big plus. Copilot full use should had been included with it since its a newer device and battery life for streaming and game play was med at best so keep that charger handy. Overall this would be a 5 star rating because against a mac with similar specs it can hold its own, as long as its plugged in.

This laptop is great. I had very specific requirements for a laptop because of thr work I do and it was the only one to check all the boxes. Screen size, great Screen resolution, great Processor, great RAM and storage size, great I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a computer that will last.

Out of the box the laptop is very sleek and has a sturdy build. Runs efficently, so far ive had no issues with regular use and even some gaming. The screen brightness is impressive and the speed of the device is wonderful.

10/10 would recommend to most people! Between the beautiful sleek design to the touchscreen ability to the memory and storage space its perfect❤️ I look forward to having this for years and exploring all the things it can do.

This is the best laptop I've ever owned! If you're looking for all-in-one, I know how difficult that can be. I always wanted a laptop that gives me the option to choose performance when I need it, and if I want battery life then I can choose that as well. It seems like most laptops don't give you the option to choose. Well look no further. I'm so impressed with this CPU and how it learns from your usage. In one of the photos I provided, it shows the CPU's speed at 1.72GHz and that's with VSCode open. I code and perform continuous low demand tasks throughout the day and I'm easily making it throughout the whole day. I think the best so far is 11 hours of continuous power consumption with obvious breaks in between. When I say continuous, I mean I put the laptop to sleep by just closing the lid. Not once have I felt even a twinge of buyer's remorse. I have not needed the dedicated GPU yet, but you can watch benchmark and video game tests on YouTube and they're running Cyberpunk @ 60 fps. Absolutely nuts. I will recommend this laptop to anyone.

I bought this laptop on a sale and got a great price. It's fast, the screen is bright and brings a lot of detail when I use Photoshop. Before I ordered it, I read some criticism of the speakers. I think they're great and have a lot more bass than my old Yoga 920-13IBK. The battery holds up better than I expected. The storage is more than enough for me and the fact that it has multiple inputs is pleasing. My older Lenovo only has 4 inputs, so I had to get a hub for it. Overall, it was a great choice. However, the delivery was something else. I ordered it on Saturday November 30th. Initially it was stated to be delivered by Wednesday December 4th. I didn't get it until Sunday December 8th. Between Best Buy and FedEx This was one of the worst delivery experiences I've ever had. If I had ordered it on Amazon, I would have gotten it in 48-72 hours. Best buy had it in Nichols, NY which is about a 7–8-hour trip from Wilmington, DE where I live. FedEx didn't really get it until Friday the 6th. It took them about 48 hours to actually get it to my door. Plus, the guy delivering it tossed it onto my front porch. Fortunately, it was well cushioned. Overall, the laptop is fantastic, the delivery process was abysmal.

Had it for 6 months with one black screen issue for an afternoon before being resolved. Quality laptop would only recommend buying it below 1,000. The Battery lasts for 3 hours during moderately intense use.

Best laptop I’ve ever owned. I love the convenience of the touchscreen and how capable the processor is. I’ve played Sims 4, League of Legends, inzoi, etc. it’s just a bit big and heavy for class…. like I wish it was a little bit smaller—like almost slightly bigger than an iPad, but that’s OK that it’s not. It’s capable and it’s got a camera and it works really nice and I can play all my games on it and I can take pictures and do video call. I play Sims four, League of Legends and I NZOI.

It's an amazing laptop which has allowed me to do more since being given it by my family. The graphics, speed, and processor are allowing me to finish tasks faster than ever when working on it. With the addition of the touchscreen feature, it's great to use when doing things that make life easier. It's a great laptop for people who travel and need to use it for work and entertainment purposes.
