The smart lock is pretty easy to install as long as the previous lock was done in the same size. One of our doors was different so I couldn't install the smart lock. It took approximately 1 hour to install.

This lock is easily the best smart lock if you want something low profile and unassuming. From the outside, you cannot tell it's a smart lock at all. In fact, it has no branding at all on either side of the lock.
The Apple Home Key feature is the best! I can use my Apple Watch or my iPhone to unlock my door.
Highly recommend this lock to anyone with an Apple Home set-up.

I wish I can have stayed with this product with everything it does but after almost 3 weeks im going to return it. Range does not work to open, only one accout per person so notifications dont go to everyone for somereason even wehn login with the sane email and password. Definitely lags in the locking and unlocking. It only works when it wants to and unfortunately no sensor letting it know for it to autolock, after the time frame for auto lockin. In other words if you didnt close the the door right it will lock and thats it, you wont know when it locks. They need to seriously improve all this and its sad for that price, you are not getting what you paid for. For a simple lock it’s nice but thats it. Wish they would fix this already but dont think they will. Go for something else

This product is absolutely terrible; buyers beware. This product does not work like it states. It barely works at all. It doesn’t work well with Apple home key it doesn’t work well with its own Bluetooth the battery dies in less than a month. I wish it was not outside the return period. The lock looks good, but that’s about it. You will be stranded and locked out your home.

I absolutely love the convenience and look of this lock. I had one with a keypad thst never worked right. This is amazing because I can just tell my phone to unlock the front door. I am a little disappointed that I have to buy a HomeKit if my family members want to use their phone to open it without using the app.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!!!!!! Google (level lock plus battery drain) and you will see all the comments. I went thru it myself. We purchased 2 of these locks and one of them was doing this. I was putting a battery in every 4 days. It would take 6 days to get 1 email back from level lock support asking you one question or verifying one setting, they promised us batteries that we never got, and they never did anything to make it right. They are selling a product that has serious issues, taking your 330.00, and then hoping that you will just give up when they ignore you enough. These locks should be pulled from shelves. I definitely expect to see a lawsuit eventually .

I’ve had this lock for about 2 months and it’s made life so much easier whether I’m letting myself in with the Apple wallet or letting guests in. It also works even if your iphone is dead as long as it’s an express card which I highly recommend

I’ve had many different lock systems. (Yale x2, Kwikset) both were time consuming to install. Level was up and running in 10 minutes. Works with all my Apple products. You do need a home hub close to use Siri. I always have my watch or phone.

My review of all parties involved is following.
Product review:
Poor engineering is the key problem for this device.
The main concern is the battery life in 20 days it drained 2 batteries ($14 value) and stopped working without any notification that the battery needs to be replaced soon.
It's not worth the price for sure, too expensive to maintain and keep it functional.
It is also glitchy around 20% of the time trying to open it with Apple watch and iPhone
Store review:
Best Buy didn't want to accept a return as I kept it for 20 days (policy allows 15 days), but I tried to see if the original battery was discharged and gave it a second one, so I ended up going to Best Buy plus membership for $ 50 to be able to return this lock. You guys should be happy that your customers are trying to keep the items you sell to make them work and not return to you. But I got $50 subscription and no mercy from Best Buy, so you have to review your policies guys.
Level review:
I was advised by Best Buy to call Level support - a useless thing to do.
They just collected info and refused to accept a return (their original return policy allows 30 days, but it is not a path through, so Best Buy gives you half a period the manufacturer provides?? questionable)
Level support asked to take photos of the lock installed on the door to get help, I had it taken off to return, reinstalling it to the door to get support is a time-wasting joke... It's your product, no matter if it is installed or not you guys have to support your customers and maintain your warranty.

This lock is ok for what it does but it's given me nothing but trouble since day one. After about 2 weeks, the lock just stopped working. I called customer support to find out the battery was dead. Ok cool. That was February 25th...today (March 25th) the battery is dead again. And it gives you NO warning...it just works one day and doesn't the next. I have no timer on my lock or anything that would consume extra battery power, just normal locking and unlocking a couple times a day.

We used this lock for right at 18 months. During that time we found it to be weak, slow, and undependable. The biggest problem is that there is no notification when the battery is getting low. You are merely left to come home to a dead lock with no way to get in. Unfortunately, even when the battery is serviceable it does not mean the lock with work. You will likely have to try your phone or the keypad (not included) several times. Hopefully no one is chasing you...
We have owned nearly a dozen electronic or smart locks, from Schlage to Samsung to Lockly. This is one of the worst and most undependable. We should have removed it long ago.

Easy install! This was quick and easy. The directions were clear and the app setup couldnt have been simpler. The ability to use apple wallet to lock/unlock is a game changer for me.
