This is a must in every house...Allergies are gone, pets odors gone, even when we cook this air purifier filtrates all the smells and the air is fresh and no bad odors.

I am in love with this new Levoit PlasmaPro HEPA Smart Air Purifier! It has been a game-changer this pollen season. I use this air purifier in my bedroom with a connected bathroom and it has drastically changed the way the air feels, giving it a crisp and clean sensation. There are so many things I love about this air purifier, like how quiet it is when on auto or night-time mode, you can barely hear it. The air purifier boasts a 3-stage H13 True HEPA filter that cleans like a dream, filtering 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns and stopping odor in its tracks. True HEPA filters can’t be beaten when it comes to air purification and this filter is great for pollen, animals, bacteria, mold, viruses, and the smell from the occasional kitchen mishap resulting in blaring smoke alarms, this HEPA filter will neutralize all of them. The ionizer mode works great, this helps clean and remove even more contaminants than just the filter alone. The PlasmaPro ionizer technology is what gives the air that sense of clean, you can feel. The screen on the machine is super helpful, easy to use, easy to read, and easy to manipulate. The screen shows a colored ring that shows real-time air quality conditions and numbers in the center representing the particles in the air scanned by a laser dust sensor. The app for this air purifier can be downloaded on iOS or Android and it works as a remote for the purifier as well as enable more settings. The app also allows you to set up real-time notifications about your air quality and filter life. I like the app, it seems to work well, but I do wish the air purifier came with a separate remote. Who needs a remote when you can enable Alexa to connect to the air purifier and control it with your voice! Connecting this machine to Alexa was quick and easy, I renamed my purifier “400” as I found the default name was too long and tricky for both me and Alexa. Another thing that I found pleasing about this air purifier is how it changes fan speeds. When changing fan speeds, the machine smoothly winds up faster as if slowly pushing the accelerator in a high-end luxury automotive instead of jolting to a higher speed such as downshifting in a sports car. It just sounds well-engineered and expensive; I can’t get enough of that sound. Other than working flawlessly and physically changing the air that we breathe, there is one more thing I love about this air purifier and it’s the modern sleek look. This machine looks so good! It is the perfect size and shape to put anywhere, and it looks great anywhere. Pros: - Simple easy setup - Easy to read and use display - WiFi-enabled, great app, and Alexa/Google capable - Ability to change the air in 403sqft space 5 times per hour - Ability to change the air in 1007sqft space 2 times per hour - True HEPA filter - PlasmaPro ionizer technology - Noise levels as low as 24dB - Sleek modern look Cons: - No physical remote (but the app is great!)

To start, it’s Levoit and they make great products. I own several products from this brand and I’m yet to be disappointed with any purchases over the past several years. I don’t plan to use the smart phone connectivity feature but, perhaps I will find a use for this feature in the future..

My air purifier has a faulty sensor, and Best Buy won’t do anything about it , first time buying from here in a long time and will probably be the last time I buy from here cause this service is absurdly terrible , with different information from different t representatives and the entire experience very very upsetting especially after spending $300 in this product

Auto mode is very effective. Less noise. Works with Google voice commands. Looks Classy.

This cylindrical purifier features a clean design, great performance, and smart features to monitor and improve your air quality in your home. With the capability of refreshing the air in a 400 sqft space in as little as 12 minutes, the Levoit 400S PlasmaPro offers impressive performance in a mid sized unit that is 20 inches tall and roughly 10.5 inches in diameter. The HEPA filtration mechanically filters down to 0.3 microns while Levoit’s HEPASmart technology claims to capture 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. In addition, this model features their PlasmaPro technology which deodorizes the air with negative and positive ions. The PlasmaPro also features an internal laser based sensor that monitors and adjusts the fan speed based on contaminants in real-time. We actually over cooked some bacon and the device was quick to detect and clean the air. Automatically ramping up the fan to high, the smell was gone within a few minutes and the fan had adjusted back down to a tolerable level. As with any “smart” device, there is an app that can be used in conjunction with the device that provides current and historical air quality data as well as controlling the device from your phone. Though I like that I can also lock the controls from the app (parents of toddlers rejoice!), the app itself (VeSync) is distracting with loads of unrelated content such as a store and recipes section. I would have preferred a dedicated app instead of this “smart home” approach. With that said, the device would be rated higher if they offer a more focused app in the future, fortunately the app is optional and the device works great with out it. If you have the space for it, the Levoit PlasmaPro performs well and is hard to beat for the price.

The Levoit 400S HEPA Smart Air Purifier, just out-of-the-box is a sleek, modern designed machine that looks great in my home. Setup is super-simple. First, carefully turn unit upside-down, then open the air cleaner's housing to remove the HEPA filter. Remove the plastic bag encasing the filter, then place filter back into the housing and close the cover. Carefully, place the unit upright and plug the power cord into an outlet. Turn unit's power on. The Levoit uses the VeSync app, which is non-proprietary and is used to manage various brands of home and energy items remotely. You can download the VeSync app from your phone's App Store. Follow the LeVoit Quick Start directions to enable the unit's WiFi, then to connect the app to your Air Cleaners WiFi. (You must have a home Internet connection.) Once completed, you can control your new Air Cleaner from anywhere. The Levoit unit has a sensor that checks your air quality and sends that info to the unit's display & to the VeSync app, so that you can check your room's air quality remotely. You can also check the percentage of life left on your u it's HEPA filter. On the whole, I find the Levoit 400S to be an effective, quiet-running, nice-looking Air Cleaner that fits well in the modern Smart Home.
