The Levoit 400s HEPA Smart Air Purifier delivers as its name suggests. Its a stylish cylindrical air purifier that will blend in with your home decor in a corner, under a table and looks great while it works your magic. I placed this air purifier in our kitchen because frankly, if you throw away trash and have it in your kitchen, or cook flavorful foods, your kitchen is going to get a little funky. Set-up on this air purifier was simple, download the app, make sure wifi is on and enabled, connect via BT, then authenticate your WiFi network. Setup compared to even other smart devices was super FAST with very little search time. This device only does 2.4ghz wifi but most mesh wifi systems will support 2.4g, 5g and now 6g bands all on the same SSID. So not only is this air purifier app enabled, it is also voice assistant enabled. I was able to connect it seamlessly to our Alexa network, which allows me to turn the air purifier on and off as well as control the speed/intensity of the purification levels. You can also set sleep times or dim the stylish LED lights to make it easier to sleep at night, but that's not an issue for us in the kitchen. Overall this is a great Air Purifier that has all the bells and whistles for a very affordable price point. You can smell the purified air being exhausted from the top and it smells like a clean spring breeze. Very happy with the Levoit 400s!

I got this Air Purifier specifically because I have 3 pet Rats in a large Critter Nation cage...in a somewhat small-ish room. I work from home and this cage is also in my work room. They keep me company during the day. :-) We fully clean their cage twice a week. As much as I love the little girls, after a few days, it always has a bit of an odor to it. We are still experimenting to see what works best in their cage to reduce cleaning and odor. So, it's not a big deal, but if I'm going to be in the room 8 hours a day, I'd much prefer ZERO odor. LOL Until we can figure out something that works better than what we are doing now, this Air Purifier is a life-saver! Unboxing was very minimal and very easy. So was setup. You do have to twist the base off to expose the (HUGE) filter in order to remove it from the bag. But once you do this, the rest is just as simple as downloading the VeSync App and plugging in the unit. I had zero problems connecting it to the network and the app and to be quite honest, this is probably the easiest thing to set up that I've done in the past several years. So, kudos to that. Honestly, other than the size of the unit itself (yeah, it is quite large...much larger than I expected it to be), you'd never even notice it was there. It's THAT quite. I love the touch sensitive button up top. They can be used or you can just use the app. The app is also animated, so the background shows the current fan speed as a neat little animation. I usually just keep it on "Auto" and I keep the "Plasma Pro" turned on. The Plasma Pro eliminates about 98% of any odor in the room, mostly due to the critters cage. This is fantastic. If there ever is a day we don't get around to cleaning it, I just manually crank the fan speed up to about 2 or so and it takes care of the rest and we just make sure to do our cleaning the next day. I wanted this review to be a testament to any animal owners out there. Not just for dogs and cats, either. Any animal. Reptiles (such as Bearded Dragons), Rats, other small critters, and whatever else. Put this in the room where the animal mostly resides and you're good to go. In fact, I'm tempted, when I can, to get another one of these and put it in the living room with my Bearded Dragon enclosure. 5/5 stars. The filter doesn't cost too much and you need to replace it about every 9 months. Setup and connections were a breeze, the fan is super silent. Other than the sheer size of the thing, you wouldn't even know it's there. The Plasma Pro technology simply cannot be beat and the odor elimination exceeded my expectations. If you're in the market for an Air Purifier, this is the way to go!

This has got to be my most favorite air purifier yet. We have a couple other purifiers and this beats them in every area. Aesthetically its beautiful. Its modern sleek design fits into any space with ease. The touch screen features are nicely done and are extremely responsive. The setup is easy and app response is incredibly fast. The noise levels are great from low speed to high. The app connection process took less than 5 minutes. The app is intuitive and even has a section that offers recipes for meals, discounts on other products and other info. It is ultrasonic quiet on its lowest levels and even at high capacity it isn’t as loud as I’ve heard from others. But it does a fantastic job at eliminating odors, especially kitchen odors in a short amount of time. It responds so fast when something is detected in the air. I keep mentioning it’s responsiveness but it’s true. It’s fast. My fave part is how fast it responds to Google assistant. I can have it on and off in seconds. Listen, this is a great investment to better overall health and air quality within your home. I highly recommend.

As one of the leaders and innovators in the air purification industry, Levoit continues to improve on their line of air purification products and gain more traction with their brand name by introducing the 400S smart HEPA air filter. This HEPA air filter is perfect for most rooms around 400 square feet and is discrete enough to not be a distraction to your existing ambiance. Upon unpacking the 400S, the air filter is sleek and modern looking with a touch panel lit interface on top with a LED screen that displays the air quality. It is very simple to set up with just the power cord and optionally downloading the VeSync smart phone app. Using the app, you can log in or create a VeSync account, connect the air filter to your wifi and link it to voice control assistants such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Keep in mind, all these options are not necessary to run the fan alone but is a welcome feature in this technological age. The air filter has 5 speeds, all of which are relatively quiet. I typically don’t notice the fan is on while on speeds 1-3 with the other background noise in the kitchen where we have the filter placed. There is a sleep mode that is convenient if you are placing it your bedroom that will turn off the display lights and uses the quietest fan setting. The auto mode is what I keep the fan on as it will adjust to the appropriate fan speed depending on what the sensors are telling it. There is a timer setting if you prefer not to have the fan stay on all the time. The fan uses a 3-stage H13 True HEPA filtration system consisting of a high-efficiency carbon filter, pre-filter and H13 True HEPA filter. All of this combines to capture nearly 100% of airborne particles including bacteria and viruses, filter out smoke, odors, etc. The filters are easy to remove/replace and the app tells you the filter life along with monitoring history, local area environmental concerns such as fires as well as some other useful information. Levoit’s AirSight Plus Technology uses a laser dust sensor to sense the air it’s filtering and provide real-time air quality updates using their smart phone application. One of the more advanced features of this HEPA filter is what Levoit calls their PlasmaPro Technology which claims to actually break down the molecular structure of air pollutants such as odor, gases, aerosols, etc.. Overall, this is a well made HEPA air filter for home or office use using some of the latest technology to filter and destroy air pollutants in an attempt to keep everyone more safe.

I recenttly caught Covid :( so this was a very important purchase. I should have had it way long ago before getting sick! Within minutes my really bad air quality went to green and I noticed a complete difference in my breathing. The application is super intuitive and lovely to browse around on. I shared with my friend who was sold already from the snap shots of what I sent him of my air! Quiet, sleek to look at and amazing app.

This air purifier is powerful and versatile. Different fan settings whose volumes range from virtually silent (lowest fan setting) to medium-level white noise (highest setting). The app that accompanies the purifier is very helpful. You can control fan settings and schedule fan runs on the app. The particle display is incredibly helpful, to monitor how effective the purifier has been in cleaning the air, as you see the particle count drop over time.

The unit itself is roughly the same size as almost every other air purifier that's out there. Once you unbox the unit, you'll be grabbing your smartphone because there's an app that works with the unit. The app is quite useful. You can see the air quality in the room that you placed the unit it. You can also change the speed setting, and even choose the sleep mode which is quiet and the screen goes off. You can also see the filter life, and pretty much control the unit from your smartphone if you prefer. When setting the app, you can also pair it with a smart speaker; which I did not do for this review, but it can be done. All in all the unit is quiet when it's set on auto. Once you go beyond speed 2, it sounds like there's a small aircraft about to take off. I'm not exaggerating either. I typically just keep it on auto, and when I check the app, it says that the air quality is very good, so I guess the upper speeds are for situation when an outside element drastically changes the quality of the air. You can also change the settings the good old manual way if you'd prefer, but it's so much easier on the smartphone. When it's time to change your filter, you can order a replacement filter through the app. You can set a schedule so that the unit isn't running at all times. I think that's a great way to save energy and the filter's life as well. The VeSync doesn't really do anything special that separates it from its competitors. It has a carbon and hepa All in all it's a great unit, with a great app, and it does what it says it does.

It runs very quietly, even on higher settings, and the design is sleek and modern — perfect for any room. What I love most is how effective it is at removing dust, allergens, and odors. I recently purchased the Levoit PlasmaPro 400s Smart air purifier, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly in my living room. Bought this because we had new furniture delivered that really smelled bad and caused us sinus issues. On super high, it is loud. However, on settings 1-3 it's tolerable. So far it's doing really good cleaning the air. It is very pricey, but connects to smart home systems and has some advanced filtration. Con: replacement filters do not seem cheap

So far so good. It works as expected, the air is clean and the smart app is convenient. Bonus, I’m one that likes the white noise of a fan running while I sleep. This thig is great. The highest setting makes a nice, fairly loud steady fan noise, while the lower settings are all very different to even hear. I haven’t had it but a few weeks so I cant soeak to the longevity of the filter etc. or those tgat have said it develis a smell. Mine smells clean at this time. I’ll update later on if I run into any issues.

I’ve owned and used quite a few air cleaners in my time…of various types. This is the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s HEPA and produces positive and negative ions. Both methods are used to clean and deodorize the air. It also actively displays the actual level of contaminants in the air, as it goes about its business. It’s relatively quiet, modestly sized and works very quickly to clean and filter the air in a room. It joins my Levoit humidifier, which I use in the winter months to avoid sore throats and sinus issues. Both very highly recommended by this user. Best Buy price-matched Amazon on this most recent purchase…without hesitation.

This air purifier has worked very well since purchasing it. The air quality in our home has improved dramatically. Very simple to assembly and maintain.

I recently purchased the Levoit 400S air purifier, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. This air purifier offers great performance at an excellent value. I specifically bought it for my African grey, and it has worked wonders in keeping the dander to a minimum. The air quality in my home has noticeably improved since using the Levoit 400S. I appreciate its efficiency and how quiet it operates. Overall, it's a fantastic investment for anyone looking to improve air quality, especially if you have pets.

So far so good. We bought this to replace an older air purifier (different brand)that lasted forever and worked great. I had no experience with this brand but am impressed. It is easy to operate. We leave it on auto mode and it turns on when it senses the need. The unit runs quietly. I have noticed a difference in having fewer allergy symptoms since running it in the family room. We have not needed to replace the filter so I cannot comment on how long it lasts or price point on maintenance.

First purchase was the sibling model covering 129 SF. This larger model (PlasmaPro 400s, covering 403 SF) is much more user friendly. With the smaller model (129 SF), you turn on the unit, select the fan speed, and off you go - for as long as you want the machine to be on. What I like most about the PlasmaPro 400s is the Automatic Setting. When you first turn on the machine, you can select the automatic setting - allowing the unit to adjust the air purification (fan speed) according to the air quality. The more cleansing the air requires, the unit increases the purification process - the less you need, the unit automatically reduces the purification process. In addition there is a light "ring" on the top of the PlasmaPro 400s that provides a visible notification of air quality. If the ring changes color, the unit will adjust to purify the air as required. The smaller unit (129 SF) does not have the visible notification of the purification process, nor does it automatically adjust. The PlasmaPro 400s is definitely quiet, though the unit has not needed to increase the purification process greatly - I guess time will tell with more usage. This unit currently located in an area of 600 SF (kitchen/dining), so it takes a bit longer for the purification. If you place this unit in a smaller area (400 SF or less) the purification process would take less time. The best thing about BOTH units is that, after turning off the power, BOTH units remember the last setting, and resumes the last setting when you turn on the power to the air purifier. After using this unit (PlasmaPro 400s) for a while, I'm considering giving this as a gift for family members.

Excellent. Got this on a sale and really happy with it. Super easy to use, really makes a difference. The noise level is impressive but this thing can really go if you want. It’s definitely more expensive than most but this is the real deal, especially if you’ve got a bigger space like me. Price is steep though so I’d wait on some kind of promo to go for it to be honest.

Wanted something to make air quality better in our home. Liked the reviews decided to try this unit out. Very pleased with our purchase. One of our dogs got sick in the middle of the night. Had an accident on our bedroom floor. The smell was awful. Within a few minutes, the air purifier had completely removed the smell. Very quiet, so it doesnt disturb sleep. Helps keeps dust down too. Plan to buy more as gifts.

I bought this to use at the salon that i work at. It’s hard to tell for sure, but I think it’s really helping with all if the fumes. I really like the small size and weight of this purifier. I like how it show how clean the air is and I can adjust it accordingly. I like that I can program it to come on and off at set times through the app. It was really easy to sync it with the app. Overall it’s been a great little air purifier so far.

I have this set up in my bedroom, as I have diapers from a baby there so the goal is to keep the room fresh. The initial setup is easy, and after that, I pretty much forgot that it's there as I have it on auto. From my use so far it works great, though the next big test will come in the spring when the pollen arrives so we'll see. The main issue I have is with the app, it actually works well, but they keep trying to sell you something extra each time you log in. With auto turned on I'm not going in too often, but the app is not very clean. Also not everything (like air cycled) works and shows as 0. Its usable to turn the filter on and off, and set the speed plus check how clean the air is, but could use some more work. On the positive side, the filter is very quiet even when on full blast. Auto works well and turns up when needed. While the unit is somewhat big, its doesn't take too much space. The setup is easy, and filter replacements are also easy. There is also a night mode and an option to turn off the keys, so you don't have random light on. Overall happy with the filter so far, but app could use some more work.
