This microwave is fantastic. It does show fingerprints a bit, and in darker light, it is hard to see the buttons; however, I don't find it any harder than buttons on my old microwave which also didn't light up. The door opens up much wider than most (as usually on microwaves there is the key panel to the one side). This takes some getting used to, and I did have to duck a couple times when I lazily opened it the way I did with my previous microwave. It was relatively easy to mount. My friend and I mounted the microwave on our own, having never mounted a microwave before, and from start to finish it took us somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half. It has a ton of features, and I haven't used most of them, but from what I can tell, it is a great microwave.

My Whirlpool over-the-range microwave and I had a 24-year relationship. At that point it was basically a member of the family—right up there with the cousins you only see on holidays but still feel loyal to. But like all appliances, its life cycle was… well… winding down. So, I brought home a shiny new LG as a replacement. I told myself, “Don’t get attached. You’ve been hurt before.” For the first week I treated it like a suspicious new roommate. I pressed every button trying to find something wrong with it. Too complicated. Too fancy. Too… modern. Surely there had to be a flaw. But alas, LG’s advanced features were just too strong. The sensor cooking? Impressive. The quiet operation? Suspiciously perfect. The sleek design? Completely unnecessary but somehow irresistible. And now here I am… emotionally invested in a microwave again. I love my new LG. Apparently; I have a type.

This new Over-the-Range Microwave is exactly what we needed and more! It not only fits perfectly in where the old one is, it has a sleek, clean look that is flat all the way across and makes for easy cleaning. Additionally, it has the air fry option which opens so many doors for so many more uses of this all-in-one appliance.

This microwave looks good and has many features. The handle is on the side and doesn't stick out on the front panel. This is important because microwaves with handles on the front often become loose with use. To get them tightened or replaced generally cost about 50% of a new unit.

We hesitated before replaced our over-the-range KitchenAid microwave with this LG - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Convection. So happy we did! Not only it looks wonderful, it's so quiet and powerful, not to mention all the functionalities. The unique product depth fits under the cabinet beautifully, the vent effectively covers the stove exhaust, and it provides a lot of cooking space. It has made cooking easier and fun. We did some research before we made the decision. It turned out that all the positive reviews were right!

I bought this microwave due to the multifunction. The air fryer takes a little longer than a stand alone air fryer but does gets the food crispy. The microwave heats quickly. I haven’t used the conventional oven yet. If your kids use the microwave a lot they will need reminded that air fryer setting is different and that the inside gets REALY hot!

Oh baby let me tell you about this microwave it's a conventional oven a microwave and a air fry all in one this is one of the best purchases I ever made and I got rid of all that extra stuff off of my countertops because this microwave gets the job done I recommend this to anybody I love it

My microwave decided to just quit working so I needed to buy a new one. There are so many options to choose from. If you can, go in store and look at the display models. I love LG products! This one had an air fryer built into it which was a bonus! I love that when the timer goes off, it does a cute little jingle to alert me. It was easy to install and I love the look of this microwave cause it looks so luxe. I spent alittle bit more than I needed for a microwave but it was worth it. If I'm going to invest in something, I don't want to settle for something I didn't really like because it was in my "price range". So far, it's working perfectly.

Nice multi-feature oven. Very clean and sleek looking with no handle. Air fryer option is all presets so we end up using the combo setting which is air-fry/convection. Connects to the ThinQ app easily.

This was easy to install in the place of our old microwave. We have used all of the functions: the microwave, the convection oven and the air frier and all work very well.

Great microwave with tons of features. The ThinQ smart features are pretty neat even if a bit non-essential. The combination of convection oven, air fryer and microwave is really cool. All of the programmed modes far exceed any other microwave we’ve ever owned. Very happy.

Same frame as the GE Convection Microwave it replaced using the same/similar mounting bracket which made installation easier especially since it was lagged into a brick wall and the old more robust bracket was compatible. Same basic pallet of controls and features as the older GE version with the omission of the rotary knob which made it easier to add or subtract a time from the running cycle in finer increments than 30 seconds. LED Lighting is brighter and makes it easier to see the contents inside while its running. Fan and vent system is similar though it has fewer speed options. Air Fry options are of limited value since they are crippled to just a few preset options or to those that match a limited number of compatible packaged items with labels that can be scanned with the smart phone application but no way to manually set times, etc. Large door with controls built into it is OK however now that I've lived with it just makes the door a cumbersome intruder into the kitchen requiring you to step back and give it more room to swing when you open it. Nice was that the turntable, pans, convection racks and filters from the 15 year old GE it replaced are identical matches and give me spares to use while the others are being cleaned after a spill, etc. Not nice was the lower power level and crippled air fry interface. Bottom line is its a Good but not Excellent replacement for the 15 year old GE it replaced.

First i have to say the installer for this unit from Tried and Tested (Jaelen) was excellent. He literally had my old unit removed and the new one installed within 25 minutes. Very professional. Sonfsr the init is terrific. The air fryer and convection oven are so nice to have and they cook food very well. French fries are delicious vis the air fryer. Tje buttons are responsive to the touch amd the inaide is more than adequate. My old microwave lasted 20 years. I doibt this will last as long but so far it is a positive purchase.

Quite happy with this unit. Fit exactly perfect into the old spot. LG kept all connection points the same making it truly plug and play. The listed cabinet measurements were spot on. Still experimenting with the convection and air fry options. These definitely were not available on the old unit.

Beautiful love all the great Features love that i can control alot of those features with the app and it works perfect.

Has loads of features still learning. So far works beautifully. We love the streamline look and the soft chime when the cycle is complete. Wife loves the 30 second push cycle with instant start. Also love the fact that it comes with a complete printed instruction manual.

I love this microwave oven. For the first time I'm actually using the programmable features of a microwave, and there are many, and they are good. But having a convection oven built in is really, really great. One concern is the door, which is very wide and opens from the right. Buyers should make sure they install it where there is enough space for it to swing, and where you can stand to the right of the appliance when opening.

Plenty of functions , air fryer works great . Installed it in 10 minutes and it looks sleek in between cabinets .

Really nice microwave. Quiet. Easy to use. Large enough to heat up, air fry and bake food. Modern looking.

So far I am loving this. I have not cooked a lot of stuff yet. I did use the air fryer function for egg rolls, and it worked extremely well. Very nice-looking appliance. A bit louder than my last LG Convection Microwave, but I am getting used to it. I wish the vent function was stronger. My last LG really pulled air when I was cooking on the range. This one builds up a lot of condensation on the appliance due to the lack of the air being pulled. I do like that there is no handle, and instead has a side slot to open the door. No handle to get dirty. So far, so good, and would recommend to others. Regarding LG Products: In 2016 I replaced all appliances with top-of-the-line LG products. Nothing lasted. 2 fridge replacements, 6 repairs on the fridge, and had to buy a new one just recently. Dishwasher needed repair right after warranty period ended. Flat top glass range with double ovens, 3 replacements. Hope this lasts longer than my last LG Convection Microwave. My last one was bigger, had more features, and was extremely expensive. The first time I used the convection feature, the inside glowed red. Turns out the fan/motor needed to be replaced. Did not buy at Best Buy, and it was just out of warranty by the first time I used the convection feature. Only bought this item because I want to keep all my appliances one brand, and I have been staring into my old LG with the burnt insides for 6 years since the microwave still worked great. Hope this one item has been improved on, and will last longer than the others without needing repair right after the warranty is up.
