What a Waste of Money LG and Best Buy

I wouldn't buy this microwave again. I wouldn't buy this from Best Buy. I had it installed by Best Buy and they left without it working. It ended up I should have looked further into my outlet and kept my old microwave. Instead this breaks about a day after the return period is over. Best Buy even with support won't help. LG won't help as they use Unique Service Repair. And they keep rescheduling and say their system is down.

The install guy would not install the microwave due to some electrical issue, so not able to use the microwave still until an electrician comes out. Need my money back on the install

Do not buy this brand (LG) Best Buy does not repair this brand. I have spent all morning trying to get someone to repair because it over heats and shuts down. You have to go to LG who tells you to schedule with Mr Appliance that could not help without a authorization letter from LG, after 3 hours I still have not resolved. Just bought this a few months ago

The auto reheat & cook buttons are weird to figure out & have too many extra steps. Fan is too loud, print on buttons is too small (who needs so many buttons)

purchased LG microwave 7-22-24 plus 5 year extended warranty. it worked less than 30 days. called best buy and they passed the buck to LG. I am still waiting for a service date from LG after 5 days even though I have a reference number

The turntable started to break after just a couole of weeks.

Garbage. Stopped working after 6 weeks, so cannot return to store. I have liked LG products previously, but will never buy their appliances again.

Works Great, But Light Burned Out Early

The microwave itself is excellent - powerful, quiet, and very user‑friendly. It looks great above the stove, and the vent fan and cooking functions work exactly as advertised.
However, the interior light burned out much sooner than I expected (before the one‑year mark). It’s a small issue but still inconvenient, especially on an appliance that otherwise feels high‑quality.
Even with that flaw, I genuinely enjoy using this microwave and think it’s a strong product. Hopefully future versions come with a longer‑lasting interior light.

I’m extremely happy with this LG 1.7 cu. ft. over-the-range microwave! The stainless-steel design looks modern and clean, and it instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. It heats food quickly and evenly, and the Sensor Cook feature is a game changer. It automatically adjusts the time so nothing ends up overcooked or undercooked.
One of my favorite parts is the EasyClean interior. Spills wipe up easily without scrubbing, which is perfect for busy days. The touch controls are simple and responsive, and the display is bright and easy to read. It’s also surprisingly quiet, even when running on higher settings.
The ventilation works great, the lighting underneath is bright, and installation was straightforward. For the price, the quality and performance are outstanding.
Highly recommend this microwave if you want something reliable, stylish, and easy to maintain!

So far its ok. Dont like how dim the light is inside & with dark walls inside micro, it is too dark. When light under micro has been on a longer time it gets really hot even warming up inside of micro. Hoping that wont be a problem down the road.

I really like my LG over the stove microwave. It is very streamlined And it is very quiet & cheerful. The sound when it is finished is very lyrical & pleasant.
