I needed a basic model to replace my GE, was pleasantly surprised by its easy to use cook settings, cooking time is just right, doesn't over cook, also love the light chime sound when it's done cooking, as well as when timer is done. The interior is good, nicely lit although it's gray. It's been 6 months since the purchase, I'm happy overall, the slick exterior design looks great with my other stainless steel appliances. Please note get a pro to do the install, instruction not clear.

I’m not a fan of over the range microwaves, but our house came with one that I never liked, and after 3short years, no longer worked.
The LG model we purchased to replace is quite an improvement! It is excellent quality, with much better features, (I.e. the underside has vents on both left and right sides).
Changed my mind about not liking over the range microwaves, this one is a winner!

Not much experience with it, but so far we like it. Controls are logical and provide easy access to all common functions. Appearance is great in our kitchen.

I have only had this microwave for a week, but I am disappointed with its performance. The quick start function works fine, but I had to call the tech department to use the other functions. When I tried to use the functions such as manual or defrost, the screen read FOOD after pushing the start button and nothing happened. The tech support determined that a sensor in the door was not noting that food was already in the oven. To use the manual or defrost cycles you have to put the food in, leave the door open, program the settings, close the door and finally push START. Some of the other settings are time consuming. To cook a casserole with the AUTO COOK mode, you have to push the button seven times to make your setting selection. There are more menu selections than I will ever use. I love my LG refrigerator, but the microwave was a disappointment.
