    Stay away from the product

    I purchased this product in August, 2012 and have had to have it repaired 3 times. The turntable also is squeaky and it was repaired once but is squeaking again.It has lost power completely twice and is not working as of today. The 3rd time, the service repair was supposed to call back and set up a time to come out. 7 days have passed and I called today to see where they were. I called Best Buy who said I should have returned it within the 60 day period but who knew a microwave would stop working after the first repair. Stay away from this product and ask about the return policy on an appliance. I am dealing with LG directly to try to get it repaired/replaced. Lesson learned.

    TERRIBLE over the range microwave!

    If I could give this LG Microwave a half star - I would! We paid to have this professionally installed by a carpenter and electrician, so nothing is wrong with the installation. Now Best Buy "Geek Squad" has to come to either fix it or take it out and send it back to LG. Either way we loose - we have to pay a service charge to Best Buy, and will be without a microwave for who knows how long. I will NEVER buy another LG product again! They should stand behind their product and pay our service charge!

    Our experience with our first LG product has been disappointing. Our new in the box microwave came with "GE" parts in side the box. Getting the replacement parts, 1 by 1, has been challenging. The service department has been disrespectful, they assume we purchased a used model because the parts inside were wrong. It's been over a month now and we are still waiting for parts. We have countless phone calls and many hours put into waiting for someone to talk to. We were actually told a rep would call us back, that was over 2 weeks ago. We just called again. Pass on this product or any other they put out.

    I like the LG product but

    After removing the protective covering from the Stainless Steel surface, I realized that the unit had been sold scratched. I should have paid the 110.00 fee to have it installed so that I had an avenue to replace the damaged unit.

    Worst appliance I ever purchased

    After taking the time to install the unit as instructed it worked for all of one week before it blew a thermal fuse. After contacting LG support I was given a local appliance repair person's contact information. So I had to unistall the for the repair. The repairman was on time and fixted the unit. Installed it again and less than three weeks it broke again. This time I took it back for a refund. I"ll never buy another LG appliance.

    Dead after 15 months

    It's hard to recommend an appliance that died after only 15 months, so I won't. I would suggest purchasing a higher quality model from a different manufacturer. What a hassle...don't buy this piece of junk.
