I am happy with my purchase after using for 6 weeks or so. It works as advertised so far - delivery was faster than expected.

Let's start with a controversial topic: Yes, you will hear a very slight high pitched sound when the compressor turns on. Similar to when turning on a tube TV back in the day. However, after 3 days of using this AC, I barely even hear it anymore as I've gotten used to it. I almost didn't buy this AC because of reviews complaining about it - It's not that bad, seriously. Second, the App for this AC is mediocre. Not very optimized, has slow loading times, but it still dos its job of being able to control the AC when I'm not home and set schedules from my phone. Big plus for me. I don't use the dehumidifier setting so I don't have issues with needing to drain my AC. All in all, although it's worth a pretty penny, I'm happy with this portable AC. I am looking to buy another for a different room in the house, though it says sold out...

Saw this A/C recommended by NY Times Wirecutter several years ago. I recommended it to a friend; she got one, and I set it up for her. I was very impressed with it, and she's been happy with it. 2 years later and I found myself needing 2, as did my father. So I bought 4 of them when they were on sale.

Great product , and cools my 960 ft town condo very well . It’s rated to cool 502 ft. Easy to use , and awesome software for smart phones .

Very quiet and if the thermostat, as measured by a smaller thermostat is only off by a degree. The technology works great and app works great but it isnt so clear right off the bat...if you want it to shut off when it hits the temp use the dehumidify mode...its not a dehumidifier setting as I thought. It shuts off when the temperature is reached instead of cycling to just fan which basically bliws humid unconditioned air. Its in the manual but most manufacturers call this energy or eco mode.

I am very happy to have this, surprisingly quiet. most of the time I don't even know it's on. only issue I have is I had to add bottom panel for when I need drain water, that reduce to 4 stars for ese of use.

This unit has been great so far. It’s convenient app interface allows for automation and scheduled timing for when it comes on, within an easy to use app. Its relatively easy to install in the window, however would be nice if the window panel used some sort of clips rather than screws. Other than that no complaints!

Hands down the best portable air conditioner I’ve used. I have to get a blanket when it’s running. Granted, we live in a 1000 sq ft condo in the Seattle area where the temp doesn’t get above 90 very often, so I can’t speak for anything that would require heavier use, but for us it is perfect.

Little bit over 1.5 years in and AC still works like champ. Defintely worth a buy for decent size room.

Works well and easy to install. I didn't realize you had to drain the water... but it was no big deal.

Product is good, but of course after buying. I found it on several other websites for cheaper. Including amazon. Best Buy would not price match, due to their fine print they do not advertise. LG product good, Best Buy will probably be out of business in a few years.
