I just picked this up on Saturday to replace a 3-year old GE Profile - 2.1 Cu. Ft microwave that blew an internal fuse. The fuse was impossible to change unless you removed the microwave from the wall. After reading about this being an ongoing issue for other people, I decided to replace the GE altogether. I am blown away by the quality of this microwave compared to the GE: 1) It was so easy to install I was able to install it myself. (I don't trust Best Buy installers anymore after the last few incidents where they a) caused a flood in my home, they lied about it, and Best Buy insurance company wouldn't make good for it, and b) they tore up the vinyl flooring installing my last fridge) 2) It is much lighter than the GE, so installation was easier. 3) It is not as deep or high as the GE, so it fits over my stove better, so I can see things on my stove better, and more room under it, yet the inside has nearly the same volume 4) The door opens better, closes better, and is lighter than the GE. It is more balanced overall, and the door swings open/closes with a feel of quality. 5) The food cooks more evenly. The difference was night and day between this unit and the GE. 6) It looks better and sharper than the GE, with a glossy black front panel and nice black stainless look. 7) It is actually $85 cheaper than the GE model. 8) The 4-stage fan is more powerful, with a turbo mode that really moves air when you need to. 9) Sensor cooking is easier and works better than the GE Profile. 10) The wi-fi connectivity using the ThinQ app is amazing. Setup was simple. Once you connect with the microwave using the app, your phone tells you when something is cooking, and shows you a countdown of remaining time. There's an option to scan common frozen food packages into the app using your phone's camera to automatically set the cook time. You can set the countdown timer remotely. You can set a night light remotely that turns on/off in the night/morning. You can add this device to your Google home app and turn on the light or fan using your voice. Really quite an amazing app! This microwave makes my kitchen look like it got an upgrade. My experience with this microwave has me rethinking GE products and appliances in lieu of LG. I'll likely move over to 100% LG products eventually.

Very nice sleek and modern microwave! It has a lot of nice features including Wi-Fi. It 2.0 cf but has the same footprint of or old 1.7cf. That made the installation a breeze! I think we will get many years of great service from this machine.

The LG 2 Cu. Ft. microwave we purchased from Best Buy in Eau Claire, WI., was exactly what we needed to replace our old microwave that lasted us 12 years. The design looks great in our kitchen with the rest of the black/stainless appliances. The cooking features are handy and the item is easy to use for our children. The LED lighting underneath is way better than the old microwave and illuminates the stovetop well. The door is easy open/close and it's easy to clean.

This is my second LG microwave, the first one Loved so much! I had to replace it, because I tried to cook the groceries I put on the stove below the microwave. Can you fire! This is basically the same as the first only smarter. Intuitively it starts the microwave whenever you press a single diget. If need 5 minutes and 30 seconds, you press "5", the microwave starts, then press the " +30 seconds " button and your done. The old one had a handle that collected fingerprints with food. This one has a hand slot molded into the farside of the door. It also talks to your cell phone through the Wi-Fi. It alerts you when your food needs your attention. So far I am finding I love this even more than the last one.

The product is perfect. Performs as advertised, looks great in my kitchen, sleek and enhanced with the latest technology which also includes Wi-Fi. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

This microwave is sleek and beautiful. It has so many useful features and is super easy to use. Cleans up super easy from fingerprints ect. Has a nice tune instead of a buzzer sound when it finishes. Plus you can have it on your phone with an LG app. Love that feature.

Nice addition to our kitchen after last one failed. Great looks, features and performance. Love the WiFi connectivity. The large door swings wide; takes a bit to get used to.

Powerful and sleek. Tons of optons to choose from. The light inside could be brighter but I'm not watching it cook.

We bought the LG Microwave thin Q and the Range. They work together its amazing how easy it is to clean. And it cooks the food even. This mircowave is very accurate. Not 1 complaint we are so pleased,. Was very easy to hook up too!!

This microwave was larger than I realized which worked out splendidly. Love everything about it except for the lettering on the outside door. It is dark on a dark door, very difficult to read sometimes.

Only had it a few days but it has been great. I love the list on the inside panel that shows the different preprogrammed cooking times and what to input (my memory is awful and i would never remeber them or want to go look them up). It takes up the same space as my past smaller units but the extra internal size is great. I love the sleek modern look with the opening grip on the side vs a handle. Kids leave tons of prints but thats about the same as always. I also love that there is a low and high light option and multiple fan options. The only "con" so far is that the wifi option is mostly useless since you are always next to a microwave when using it (may be helpful for certain disabilities, but i can't speak to that) it does have a diagnostic tool and an online registration option on the app. Since i already had the app for my LG window ac I added the microwave, but it may not be worth it for everyone.

Love it in black stainless! Love the sleek no-handle front. Coordinating functions with the LG stove.

Overall, a nice upgrade from a 20 year old microwave that came with the house. Beware, though, the door is not compatible out of the box with the new-style (scandinavian brand) 14-inch deep upper cabinets. You'll need to furr out the mounting point about 3/4 inch or the door hits the cabinet to the left. After doing that it opens fully and does the job it's supposed to. Picture shows the door hitting the cabinet next to it. One other addition: the lamp on the bottom of the unit comes from the factory with a halogen bulb, which means it isn't suitable as a night light unless you like wasting all sorts of energy - it's a 50 watt bulb in there which seems a little excessive when they could have put a cheap LED strip in there and called it a day.

Good looking and great value.. im very happy with my microwave. My Ge stainless over counter microwave was acting up after 2 years. Good riddance.
