My new home had a designated area requiring a counter depth refrigerator. I never knew how expensive this special size could be. After much research and price shopping Best Buy has this on sale and the price was eight within my budget. I wanted a water dispenser and ice service at the door but that was too expensive but this is hands down the best alternate choice. Counter depth refrigerator don’t offer much space but this model is comparable and the layout is near and pleasing to the eye.

I am loving this fridge because I previously had been cheap and bought a freezer-on-top model, so we had to bend way over to see what was on the top shelf, and even then, there was food in the back which was forgotten and went bad. So this is a huge improvement! At counter depth it feels a bit shallow when you open the doors; however, the doors hold a lot right there, and besides, how many layers of food, going back, do you want, need, or see? That is the stuff that is forgotten and goes bad. And now I will get on a little soap box: if you eliminate the soda and other junk, you will have plenty of space for veggies, fruits, meat, cheese, milk, and other fresh, whole foods. Many condiments, BBQ sauces, mustards etc will fit in the doors, and even many large drink containers. Also, the shelf heights are easily customizable, and left and right side are separate. I noticed on another website one star reviews because that site had mis-stated the dimensions; otherwise people almost universally love this fridge. Some complain that you have to open both doors in order to open a flat drawer that goes all the way across the fridge at the bottom of that compartment. So yes, you do. That is not a big deal! If there are things you use a lot and that would bother you, there is a model with a separate drawer there so get that. We don't use the ice maker so we turned it off and the fridge is nearly silent. Again, some detractors take off stars because their fridge is noisy; you need to turn off the ice maker if yours is really loud. There is a button at the top of the freezer compartment. Anyway, ours is silent, and I do mean you cannot hear a thing while standing right next to it. At counter-depth, it looks built-in. I am very happy with it. I should also say, our delivery/ installer did not take any time to level or center the fridge, and we have been too busy to fix it yet. We need to add a new piece of trim across the top, center and level the fridge. Then it will look built-in. (I bought on sale at a great price. Also, I am cheap.)

Plenty of space inside, though adjustable shelves inside won't fit tall items. Even door shelves are strangely designed-- if configured for tall bottles you're stuck with a pretty useless middle shelf. I like the pull out drawer in fridge-- also the bottom freezer with plenty of ice and space to organize items. No frills but good price.

It's everything you may need in a refrigerator. It was easy to hook up & has nice drawer space & shelves

Look, if you are looking for a French door (3 doors) Refrigerator that would fit a tight kitchen. Look no further. I like the way it fits. No question. Period. Note: get the black stainless finish. I is so elegant.

I bought this refrigerator for my son & family for their first new home. It fits perfectly, looks great, holds a lot , & very classy! My one "issue" is that this smaller refrigerator cost apx $300 more than the larger one we originally ordered. This model is considered a "custom" size even though many new homes now have gone to this size. I was told the price would likely be coming down in the near future. The manager (Larry Dilley at the Marina, CA Best Buy) who helped me with the purchases & necessary change a week away from delivery was very helpful, patient, efficient, & professional. Thanks for providing great customer service. Also, installers were awesome - fast, friendly, & knew their jobs well.

So far, I am loving this product. Perfect fit, temperature settings work great, and plenty of space. Wobbles just a little, and "finger print resistant" is a misnomer... but, overall a great refrigerator!

This is a great refrigerator. The counter depth fits nicely into my small galley-style kitchen. It is so quiet and I love the lighting, refrigerator space, interior and exterior design. The pull-out shelves are very convenient when it comes to reaching things in the back. The only drawback is that I wish the produce drawers were a little wider. The middle produce drawer is nice but I would rather the space was added to the two other drawers. Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this refrigerator.

Installed 5 days ago. So far so good, will update if I have any major issues. Purchased LG based on recommendation of repair tech who diagnosed my 5 ½ year old Samsung as DOA. I decided to go with this model because of a) service tech’s recommendation, 2) good online reviews, and 3) wanted a model without external ice & water dispenser for a cleaner look and fewer potential service problems (I don’t use much ice and I keep a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator). This unit is very attractive – sleek and clean look. It runs very quietly. My previous side-by-side refrigerator was 24 cu. ft. vs 21 for this one. My initial reaction when I began loading it was that it was much smaller than my old one. However, once I fully stocked all of the door compartments efficiently, it now seems that I have more usable space on the internal shelves. I’ve been testing temperature with thermometer and so far it is maintaining consistent temps in both refrigerator and freezer compartments, Very pleased so far.

I love this fridge considering I needed a counter depth and it could only be so high given the space I have available. However, the way the holders are in the doors, there is no way to fit a 2 liter in there. Also, the fruit/veggie trays are really small. It doesn't seem you can move any of the built in shelving. Otherwise, great fridge. Very bright and crisp looking. Easy to keep clean.

This refrigerator is counter depth, so don't expect to store enough food for a very large family, but it is surprisingly roomy. It is well designed so it maximizes space. One of the shelves flips up so you have the option for extra tall-item storage. The thing I like best about it is that there is no water dispenser. I have a high-end filter on my incoming water and the freezer has a perfectly good ice cube maker, so one was unnecessary. All online reviews—for any brand—repeatedly pointed to malfunctions with the water/ice dispensers, so why get one if you don't need it? It just takes up space on the door, makes noise and eventually breaks. I would recommend anyone with low-hanging cabinets measure carefully. This fridge is about the shortest you can buy, but if your floor is slightly uneven (as were my floor tiles), you could run into trouble.

I love this fridge. It's the second LG I've owned as I just moved. My old fridge had one big top door, which I liked but because of the limited size of our kitchen we had to go with the French doors and pay the extra ~$1k for the counter depth. I have to say that the counter depth is great bc it helps fit with the depth of our older counters/cabinets, but I don't even notice that there's less space overall than a non-counter depth fridge. I love the lighting in the fridge and all of the drawers for fruits/veggies. Great fridge overall!

Bought this about 2 1/2 months ago. Perfect delivery by Best Buy. Very nice and quite refrigerator, impressed with LG quality. Very quiet except once in a while when it is making ice. When I have a full tray of ice I turn the off the button for the ice maker and turn it back on like a week later since I do not use that much ice. This way the refrigerator is whisper quite. So far so good, highly recommend this.

Have had this fridge since May of 2018.has never had a problem.is so quiet you don't even know it's there.wish the freezer used the space better.but all in all this is the best fridge we have ever had.

I have a small space and this fit perfectly. Other, smaller cubic ft. refrigerators would still have required doing the cupboards over and this one didn’t. The shelves are adjustable. It is very quiet. I’m very pleased.

The refrigerator is fairly quiet and has a good amount of space. The only thing I would change is the shelf set up. The door is made for storing your gallon containers instead of storing them on the shelves which is inconvenient. Instead of having space on the shelves for your milk (because of height limitations) your forced to put your condiments and other things you would normally put in the door onto your shelf. The freezer space is great. I didn't have the ice maker hooked up but the space for it and the bin is adequate. It was a little pricey but had great reviews, it's a very well made product and overall I would probably buy it again.

Needed counter depth and lower height to fit into the space available. This was the best with the needed dimensions. Very happy with the unit--good drawer and shelf spacing--comes with ice maker that works well, good interior lighting. Doors are not self-closing, that is less than ideal but not a big deal.

Mixed feelings about this fridge. Love the style and design. Extremely happy with Best Buy and their pricing and service. Disappointed in LG customer service. Delivery was on time and done with great care as the refrigerator had to be carried up to the second floor though a tricky entrance. Three days after install the fridge stopped working and I lost the entire contents of which I had just stocked. LG could not get anyone out for 4 days! Turns out it needed a new fan motor which had to be ordered and I had to wait another week for the fix. Not at all pleased at this price. The technician was great and completed the repair and the fridge has been running without problems since. While I love the looks I feel very apprehensive about the quality and longevity of the the product.

We love this fridge. Perfect fit and depth. The finish is nice too...very modern. Has a beep alert if you leave the fridge door open which has saved us a bunch of times. Pretty quiet too.

I did a lot of research before replacing my 29-year-old, 22-cubic-foot Amana side-by-side refrigerator, and this LG was definitely the best counter depth machine I could find to fit my galley kitchen. Everything is first rate, from the movable glass refrigerator shelves to the ample compartments in the door. And the machine looks great. My one criticism is the bottom freezer compartment. I think I now have only one-third of the space I had in the side-by-side, and it's taken some getting used to. Also, I have no water hook-up on that side of my kitchen for the automatic ice maker, so I can't use it. I think Best Buy should have mentioned this feature in the literature on their Web site. I didn't see it anywhere. On the plus side, the ice maker takes up a large part of the freezer shelf, and by not using it I can save space with smaller ice cube trays.
