The fridge this replaced stuck out 7" beyond the counter. This model is nearly flush. 5 years ago, buying a counter depth fridge meant spending a minimum of $3,500 or more. No longer. The LG model I bought has the 'door within a door' feature, which permits both added storage, and helps keep the main compartment cold even when it's frequently accessed during the course of the day.

This fridge or its clones gets included in many "5 best" lists from rating magazines. Sleek modern appearance, energy-saving because of the convenient door-in-door, thermos-height water dispenser. Negatives: ice maker makes a lot of noise when refilling water reservoir and dumping finished cubes. If mounted next to a cabinet, unit must be pulled forward from wall to avoid opening door bumping on cupboard. So "pivoting on their own radius" doors would be a plus.

This Refrigerator is just perfect. Door in Door is really nice convenience. The black stainless is a joy---no fingerprints ever. It's really blends well with other stainless with black. I am so enjoying this fridge. Also the ice maker is a dream. Fills tall bottles with ease and no dripping when you get ice and water. I really like it.

Was looking for a counter-depth side-by-side model with a water filter. Love the capacity and design. Plenty of room in drawers for produce and door storage for cartons and bottles. Only missing a deli drawer.

For fans of the side by side this refrigerator is great. The door on the front saves time and energy. Very quiet when purchased but a bit noisier since then. Over all the quietest refrigerator I've owned.

The half door is great for milk, condiments, etc. It is really easy to open. I was afraid it would take away from space, but surprisingly, it actually seems like I have more space. Some reviews mentioned it being noisy and sometimes it gurgles and hisses oddly, but the overall operation isn’t too bad. While it is counter depth, I learned it is not a flush mount like the Kitchen-aid I replaced (broke at the 6 year mark), so it pops out a bit more. Some reviews mentioned the ice drawer being small and it is, but in return you get more useable space in the freezer which I prefer.

Easy to use. It is small...but what I needed for the area I wanted to put it. Easy to see content inside...very good lighting. Love the 1/2 door opening....it’s perfect.

a bit pricey but ok, nice appearance. strange noises, l think a belt is slipping.

Food keeps all its properties longer than my previous (old) fridge. Is perfect, we don't hear the engine, no noise at all. easy to organize the food inside Only detail, from time to time you have to clean the doors with paper/water to remove the finger prints.

Just moved the fridge into my new kitchen works well and color is great, holds plenty of food, the door in door is really convenient.

A slight "bump" to the exterior of this refrigerator and you have a permanent ding. I honestly regret that we spent the money for this item. My kids have noticed the door drinks are never as cold as the main body of the fridge drinks. The installation of this fridge was a nightmare, but that's a whole different rating.

Great buy for the price. Our counterfit new side by side refrigerator fits excellent in the space of our new home. It's very quiet and very energy efficient.No issues with space or anything. Highly recommended!

Have had it for less than a month. I don’t know enough about it to judge the reliability but it is easy to use and attractive. I wish that the water was easier to access.

Our space wouldn't allow for a French door option so we went with the side by side. The freezer has more space than I thought. I love the storage! I wish the fridge had a meat and cheese drawer. The front small door doesn't always latch. Overall, we like it better than our Whirlpool we previous had.

This is a great looking counter depth fridge. The partial access door is convenient for quick access items and makes it easy to grab common items without opening the whole unit.

Could not have received a better deal. It had been returned because of a couple of dings. I got $400 of. Great temperature throughout; Quite and excellent counter space

I love the door in door future but I always forget which door I put things in. I end up opening both doors anyway.

We are very happy with the stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. The black stainless looks great. The TV is incredible. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

We love our new frig. It has a save energy door......which holds a lot of stuff. 9 out of 10 times we need something in the door. It looks cool..............classy and beautiful. We love the stainless steel..........and it does not get many finger prints at all..................Has a high end look Thank you Best Buy deliverymen for making even the delivery fun
