I bought it because my previous refrigerator's ice maker was crap. Nobody would even fix it, despite being only three years old. So, I thought I would go old school with an ice maker inside the refrigerator. I thought they have been making them for 50 years - there shouldn't be any problems. Well, I'm currently on hold with Best Buy for repair or return. We all know how wonderful my experience is. Right? Very unhappy.

The only complaint so far is that the crisper drawers don’t lay flush to the shelf above so there is a half inch gab. Also plastic drawers are cheaply made.

The insider shelves aren't as deep, so they don't hold as much. Also, the bins in the french doors are deeper, so items fall over all the time. We're still getting used to it.

My fridge is 1.5 years old and it has broken down twice. It's in fact not working as I write this and Geek Squad screwed up my appointment so I wait with no fridge after spending over $2k on the unit plus extended warranty. It's junk. The defrost system is flawed and causes big problems.

Defrost Issues
