I recently remodeled my house and needed a new fridge. I chose this LG after extensive research because of the simplicity and the price of the fridge. I only want a french door without ice water dispenser because I have heard a lot of problems (later on) with water dispenser on the door. I was debating between LG and Whirlpool but settled on the LG. I had several conversations with repairmen and they told me the simple LG would not cause much problems compared to the more complicated fridges with a lot more high tech functions.

First of all... I would buy this refrigerator again and I would buy it from Best Buy. I wasn't sure I would like the counter width. However, after using it a short time I love it and it fits my kitchen beautifully. Now the bad and good news. I had the refrigerator returned for an unfixable manufacturing flaw. The freezer bin drawer would not completely seal due to a manufacturing misalignment. The very good news is that Best Buy replaced the unit swiftly with no (zero) hassles. The replacement refrigerator was in perfect working order. That is why I said I would buy a refrigerator again from Best Buy. Their customer service was GREAT!

This is a great fridge for anybody looking to save some space. We moved into a new home with a narrow kitchen and a regular depth refrigerator. Replacing that with this counter-depth LG opened up the entrance to the kitchen. We were worried we would miss the in-door water dispenser but it turns out we don’t. The “extra” storage space is more useful. The only complaint we can think of so far is that the doors easily swing open and closed pretty forcefully, which can cause items in the door shelves to bang around if you’re not careful.

The LED lights that illuminate the freezer compartment work fine when it's open. When it's closed, they don't go out. They're very dim but blink constantly day and night. They're so dim that this isn't really a problem, but LGs have known problems with lights staying on, so I'm worried that they'll get worse. Warranty repair is coming soon, but I don't have a lot of faith in the tech. because he wants to replace the lights. The problem is that they're getting power even when the freezer drawer is closed, which replacing them isn't going to help. This unit also has issues with the linear compressor going out in two or three years (Google LG linear compressor problems, and read about the lawsuit). It's covered for 10 years by the warranty, but who wants to have a refrigerator full of food go bad and wait for a repair.

I love this fridge! So spacious and sleek looking. I love the fact that it is counter depth. It doesn't stick out like other fridge but it definitely have the space.

Over all we love this fridge. Only issue we have is the ice machine. We change the filters, but we get while flakes in the ice. I use the LG brand filters even though there spendy, still happens. Tried cheap knock off still happens. We bought this because the ice function. So it's a bit upsetting. But the fridge works great, other than that.

The French door fridge has so much room and I love that even after a big grocery shop I still have tons of room. Previous fridge was a side by side with ice and water dispenser on the outside, which I do not miss at all. The fridge is very quiet and only hear noice when the ice tray dispenses into the ice bin. How can you beat the LG 10 year warranty on the compressor? The delivery was seamless and I was very impressed with the speed from order to delivery. Outstanding Best Buy!!

Nice and simple. Ice maker in freezer Quiet. Plenty big for 2 people. Just what we wanted.

We've only had this for about a month, so I can't report on longevity. But this fridge is a surprising step up from our former 20-year-old, side-by-side refrigerator. This one is brightly-lit and (for me) spacious. Leftovers have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. I also like not dealing with water/ice access on front. That regularly caused messes and repairs with the old one. It's easy to grab cubes from inside the freezer, which also feels spacious.

This refrigerator was a perfect fit for the space we had. The last time we bought a refrigerator, we had to bring in a carpenter to modify the cabinets above. Ice maker works great & the frog is easy to clean in & out.

I was worried because other reviewers cited noise issues. Mine has been very quiet. The only significant noise is when the ice machine operates, and that cycle lasts just a few seconds.

Ery happy with our purchase. Fits perfect in our kitchen and keeps everything cold. Has alot of space and can get alot of stuff in the freezer. Runs very quiet.

Love this refrigerator! I didn't think it would be large enough being counter depth but it has plenty of space.

I love that this is counter depth. This refrigerator is being used as a second refrigerator to supplement the one in my kitchen. It more than meets my expectations. The freezer draw is quite roomy which is the main reason why I needed this.

We were worried this counter-depth refrigerator was not going to be enough space, but because of the way the doors, drawers and shelves are organized it is great. We don't like refers with ice and water in the door because the water always ends up tasting weird and the contraption takes up too much interior space. For us, this refer is perfect. Highly functional, super quiet, and very stylish.

This refrigerator exactly fits the space we had, has plenty of room and was a good value.

I’ve had this LG fridge for almost a month. It fits my space perfectly and is very quiet, a big improvement over my old fridge. I love the freezer at the bottom that makes it so much easier to access the food drawers on top. I don’t have the ice maker hooked up so I can’t review that feature yet. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Great product!!! Its just a perfect size not too big and not too small. Really spacious!!

This refrigerator is spacious and is very quiet. Made ice in about 24 hours after set up. We love having the pullout freezer on the bottom. It holds twice as much as our last refrigerator that had more cubic space. The delivery and installation team were top notch. They answered all my questions and were careful with handling.

When we first got the fridge, it seemed a little small for our needs. We bought it online without seeing it in person. It wasn’t until we actually started filling it with food and drinks that we realized there was more than enough space both in the fridge and the freezer. It’s a great fridge and great brand. We can’t wait to upgrade our other appliances to LG as well.
