I got this fridge at a killer deal as an opened box item. The black stainless is super pretty and I get compliments on it all the time. I didn't think I would use the "knock" feature on the glass as much as I do. It took some getting used to coming from a full size to counter depth. You definitely notice the loss of space but it's not horrible.

Yes, we love this counter size fridge, it looks great in the space, and doesn’t stick out so far. We had to get used to the smaller arms length space and have to open both doors to get to main storage but learn how to organize it quick enough and keep items used often in door. We Would buy again, way better then a side by side by far.

The LG fridge is quiet, and the freezer space is more than adequate for a family of our size. You lose space with the counter depth., but my wife likes the look of the fridge in the kitchen. Opted for black stainless, so far so good.

We had to buy a counter depth refrigerator, so we liked this one of the ones available. The refrigerator is very quiet - in fact much quieter than the Kitchen Aid I had previously. Cons are small storage in the produce bins and difficulty trying to store tall bottles.

We were really surprised as to how much room our new counter depth refrigerator had. What is really amazing is how easy everything is to see and reach, even the bottom freezer. We selected the door within a door model and so glad we did. Knock twice and see what is there!

We purchased a counter depth L.B. Refrigerator to replace the old refrigerator that was stuck out into our kitchen. We are really pleased with how the L.G. fits perfectly into the counters. A real plus is that the refrigerator looks great and is very quiet!

Our old refrigerator lasted 16 years and finally gave up. I saw this unit in the store and at first thought it was a little bit gimmicky. When I went back with my wife I purposely didn't show her this because she is not a big fan of technology in the kitchen. As we went our separate ways she yelled "I found it" and she was in front of the "knock knock" fringe. She liked the see through part but was more impressed with the door in a door feature. We have had it home now for almost a month and I can say I've used the door in a door feature almost every day. Grabbing small items like soda and milk without opening the whole door. I have showed the kids they can knock to see where before they would open and browse (and eventually freeze the veggies). I also like the freezer on bottom. Much better use of space for us. We are really happy with this purchase so far.

Nice counter depth refrigerator. It looks so great in our kitchen. We fell in love with it at first sight. We liked that you didn’t have to open the entire refrigerator just to grab a drink. Keeps our food cold. We love it!

This is an awesome fridge, the door in door is huge for a family of 6. Have not run out of ice yet, but we are headed into the fall. Didn't want to spend this much, but wanted something that we wouldn't hate a year from now.

Haven’t had long but love the compartments and how much improvement the counter depth and appearance adds to my kitchen. Shopped and researched many options and this is the perfect fit for MY kitchen!

Nicest refrigerator we have owned. Well built and very quiet. We were worried about ice and this model was reviewed as having a good ice maker. Only two of us, but enough ice us and company. Oh yes, did I mention QUIET?

looks great...works great...quiet...fits space well...convenient...expensive, but so far worth it. A little small inside, so i have to plan better use of the shelves and bins.

Does the job looks great and has a lot of storage. I have only owned the fridge for 5 days too soon for a real good review

Love the counter depth option. Although this does take away from the overall interior space, the design and flexibility makes up for what is lost. So far, no issues or concerns

Like being able to knock on door and light will turn on inside to show if milk or eggs are running low, etc. Don't like that I can't run the ice maker or water in the door while someone else is in the refrigerator, even if just the right door is open. Love being able to bump up the icemaker if we are expecting company. Counter depth refrigerator is nice when you are squeezed on room in the kitchen, but does take away from storage capacity. All in all a good refrigerator

Despite 2 minor issues - I still rated this a 5 out of 5. It is a great, if not the best counter depth refrigerator I could find and I am not disappointed. it has a great layout and ample refrigerator and freezer space. My 2 issues are (1) the lack of a true butter and butter dish tray in the door-in-door section (note: the manual says the top shelf in the door-in-door is a butter and cheese shelf, but I don't agree) and (2) that the left refrigerator door has a flap that creates a seal that I fear could be damaged if it is in the wrong position when you close the door. Other than that this is one great refrigerator!

Had fridge over a year and it’s still running well. It’s counter-depth does impact how much you can fit in it. It would be too small for a family of more than 4. I needed a fridge fast, and this one was in stock, so paid an extra grand above what I was looking to spend on a fridge, and got it delivered in 2-3 days. It’s cool and all, but just small.

Where in the past four weeks we purchased the LG with Insta view door in door refrigerator. The only reason I won't give it five stars is that I don't know how much energy is using yet. After I get my first energy bill that will determine the fifth star. Great size expandable just enough space in the freezer water comes out strong on the door but more importantly the door in door is a winner. The only thing I would like to say is that the water on the door is not chilled.

Keeps food item cold. Produce stay fresher longer. In the hot weather and a lot of use of ice with 4 people in the house the ice maker could not keep up with the demand for ice. It was put on " ice plus" mode and still could not keep up with the demand. Bought ice At the store to supplement. I like the inside set up for the drawers for vegetables and fruit. The center drawer is used for tomatoes so they won't get squished. I would buy this product again.

Love this refrigerator because of the quality, the room inside (i.e., drawers), and how you can knock twice on the glass, see what is inside, and just open the door (option of 3 ways to open) and save on energy. Would highly recommend.
