My wife and I have been talking about getting a bottom freezer refirgerator for a few years. We are in our senior years and bending down to try to see what is in the back of the refrigerator and then trying to reach it has gotten more difficult each year. We only have 34 1/2 inches between our kitchen cabinets. so were limited to the 33 inch wide units. We didn't think that a good french door unit would fit and were looking at single door bottom freezer units.
We visited the Springfield, IL store and were fortunate that the sales person was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. We were very happy that he showed us the LG french door 33 inch wide unit. We purchased that refrigerator and it was delivered and installed a week later.
We are both so very happy with this refrigerator. It has plenty of room for food, and it is easy to see what is inside, thanks to the LED lighting. The bottom freezer slides out effortlessly and everything in it is easily accessable. Over all, we couldn;t be happier wit ha new refirgerator. I even hear my wife talking to it, when she walks by it, typically saying "I love you, refrigerator". If I had known she would be that happy with it, I would have bought it sooner. :-)
Thanks for the excellent sales assistance, free delivery, and installation, Best Buy. You have once again proved why you are our first choice.

Because I have a really small galley kitchen and because the space for the fridge is next to the wall, I couldn't go with the conventional size refrigerator of 36" width. This 33" width fridge uses up all the space available! Because of the french doors, you need extra width to open the doors if its next to a wall. It may stick out a bit from the counters (I have a water line in the back too) but that doesn't concern me one bit. It is so spacious inside and can store many items. The delivery went smooth thanks to the delivery guys who knew how to maneuver this fridge with the limited space they had to work with. Also, a Best Buy representative was there to assure all went smooth. I've had this fridge for a few weeks and it has been silent, working great, and looks wonderful in my kitchen. I definitely recommend it!

Bought this LG fridge as it was rated very well. Love the square ice cube size. Shelves are adjustable and lots of space when both doors opened. Like it is magnetic on the sides with a darker color. Two things I wish I would have known - the shelf in the door does not hold two milk gallons side by side and the stainless front shows all prints. However pros outweigh cons.

LG fridge seems to work well and is quieter than I expected. Have to get used to the bottom mount freezer. It's like looking in a foot locker when you're searching for something.

I live in an apt and have only so much space for a fridge. I measured in detail and found what I needed at the store. Perfect size/fit for a corner. I love it.

I did a lot of research and when I saw this LG refrigerator I knew it was the one I had to have. The customer service asked if I wanted to save additional money I could buy the display one. I had it in my house in 24 hours. Still love it. It has lots of lights inside making it easy to see everything. It is just perfect. The sales agent and all the employees were so friendly.I told him I would check with him on my next purchase. I came back and bought a stove.

The refrigerator model I purchased is perfect for my family's current needs - The original refrigerator constantly leaked water onto the kitchen floor and the food that was stored would always spoil. Now the produce stored are properly chilled, stays fresh longer without any spoilage. Extremely happy with this purchase.
The dual oven and range is simply terrific but I am struggling with learning how to properly utilize the convection oven and standard oven to perfectly cook the food for my family.

Although we have a small space for the fridge, this one fits the space and has a lot of room. The drawers are roomy. Love the bottom freezer-easy to see what you have. Only thing you need to shine the outside of the fridge is a microfiber cloth! Couldn't be easier!

I’d only recommend this to people who have less than 36 inch width for a refrigerator in their kitchen. I had to get this, and it is expensive. It works great though. I added a 5 years warranty just to protect such a big investment

Great French door refrigerator - looks good, lots of space, and makes a large quantity of ice. However, it arrived with one door higher than the other, so opening and closing the doors is not smooth. We have had no luck getting in touch with a real live person at Best Buy to get this problem corrected. We are transferred, put on hold then hung up on.

This is the first time we purchased this style refrigerator. Love the french doors, and are still adjusting to the bottom freezer. If you organize your food correctly in the freezer, it will fit a lot more than you think. (We have a spare freezer in our garage, so the freezer space wasn't so important). We took out the huge ice bin because we don't have it hooked up to the ice maker, which gave us more space also
Love the bright, open refrigerator space. We chose NOT to get the in door ice maker because it took up so much room on the inside of the refrigerator (and we couldn't buy a bigger fridge because of the limited space in our cabinets.). One main reason I got this fridge was because of all of the storage space on the doors. They are full shelves and I can fit so many of my sauces, bottles, etc so the fridge can be used more for larger items. (plus they won't get lost in the fridge). The only thing I would want differently is one of those shelves that you can push halfway back to accomodate taller items on the lower shelf. I just adjusted the entire shelve to a higher position, and use it for eggs.
Did find that I had to set the temperature down to about 33 in the fridge to get the food as cold as I like it.
Would highly recommend this fridge

I am so happy with this purchase. This was a retirement gift to myself and it satisfies all the expectations I had for it. I wanted one of those "modern" fancy, new-fangled refrigerators... but it was going to require some research to find one that would fit the width-limited space in my mobile home. This was the ONE and it fit like a glove and, yet, it has way more capacity than my old frig. I also wanted my new frig to have the French doors and the bottom pull-out freezer. I decided I do NOT want the in door water/ice dispenser because I prefer a personal water bottle and, upon examining other refrigerators with that feature, I was shocked at how much interior space they consume. I can get to my water bottle (or 1 gallon milk OR 1 gallon Margarita Mix containers) in an instant thanks to the huge capacity of the inside doors. This is one of my favorite features. Another is the fact that I can open both doors and see absolutely everything at a glance. No more digging and squatting to find something buried in my old side-by-side. Terrific! I have had this 2 months now and I love it. I am just now getting in the habit of NOT pressing my ear to the frig to make sure it is running. It is that quiet! Did I mention how beautiful it looks in my kitchen! Oh, and the ice... lots and lots of perfectly formed ice cubes. In fact, the whole freezer drawer is so convenient and user friendly. Love the drawer. Finally, the price was right. I actually found this refrigerator advertised elsewhere $80 cheaper. Best Buy matched it. Sweet!

This fridge far exceeds my expectations. Unlike many of the other models--make sure you actually go to a store to see how different brands make their products--the shelves in LG fridges are top notch. I would say Samsung and LG had the sturdiest shelves throughout all their models. I almost went with a few cheaper fridges, but the quality of the LG fridge was worth an extra couple hundred as I could see the parts lasting a very long time.
I wanted the shelves to be adjustable in the middle, instead of having one super long shelf all the width of the fridge set at one level. That would only give me three heights to work with. Because the French Door model allows you to change the shelves' height in the middle, you can now have six height levels to suit your needs. Couple in the fact that the fridge door can fit a gallon of milk in it, well, that certainly opens up what I can fit in this fridge! I have a family of five, and we don't even use the whole thing.
I do like the bottom freezer, as I can fit a lot in it, though it is in layers. My last fridge was a side by side freezer/fridge and that meant I had to really fit the freezer like a jigsaw puzzle every time we came from the grocery store.
The fridge does run more (the unite comes on and turns off more) than my last fridge. It even says that in the manual. Energy efficiency is not due to usage, but consumption of energy while being used. No, it isn't always going to sound the same. It does have a defrost mode which is a tad louder than it's customary sound. I have an icebox which will make noise too, but that is an issue of how iceboxes work. Name me an icebox that is quiet for a fridge in the $1000 price range. 9
It is hard to say how much this fridge has helped me in energy efficiency, since I have just upgraded my Heat Pump, gone to propane tankless hot water from electric and installed LED lights in the home, and had my house properly insulated. My energy bill is very low... As a guy who worked in an electric company, I can say that you likely are not going to notice a huge difference in your energy efficient fridge as far as billing is concerned. That efficiency gives benefit slowly over many years of use.
The outside is hard to keep clean, but that's an issue with it being Stainless Steel, rather than an LG issue. I left the packaging protectors on and it looks far better that way than with finger prints all over it.

I read so many negative reviews about even the most expensive and highest-rated refrigerators that I almost drove myself crazy, spending endless hours trying to determine if there were actually a refrigerator out there that was going to work! So far, I love this refrigerator. It has lots of space; I can move the shelves to accommodate taller items. Nice and quiet so far. I love the alarm that lets me know the door is not completely shut. Very well lighted inside. The drawers are very spacious for fruits, veggies, and meat products. I love the huge drawer that spans the width of the refrigerator which is perfect for party trays and/or other items that take up a lot of space. It keeps everything nice and cold. It also looks great -- much larger than I anticipated. I'd had a larger, side-by-side refrigerator before, and hated it. If I had a very large tupperware bowl, it took up the entire shelf. I constantly had to put items into a smaller bowl when the bowl was no longer full, in order to make more room. This refrigerator is wonderful, and I don't have to waste my time changing bowls or containers anymore. Hopefully, it will continue to run as well as it has been. I'm still rather traumatized from all the terrible reports I read online about every single refrigerator -- even those that were $3000 - $4000. The price on this was extremely reasonable. As of this writing, I could not be happier,

This refrigerator has plenty of room, excellent lighting, and a large capacity for ice. I like the pull out drawer for the freezer. The shelving inside the fridge allows for adjustments. The clear shelving keeps us from losing items that may get pushed to the back. Lots of room for fruits and vegetables. The glide n serve tray works great for deli meats, cheeses, etc. The only bummer is to get into the glide and serve tray, you need to open both doors. Also a big fan of the real temperature reading at the top vs a 1-10 setting. The only downside is that the stainless steel shows every fingerprint...the stainless wipes are helpful to keep up with it.

We needed to find a home sized, quiet fridge that looks great with a smaller width but good sized height/depth to fit into our kitchen built in cabinets. The measurements worked really well and it has very good storage space. It's only been two weeks since delivery but we are very happy so far with this purchase. One complaint is that the finger marks on the stainless steel are annoying like many reviewers have mentioned so make sure to buy a cleaner for it.

Title says it all. Looked for 2 months at 33"fridges under 2k. Looked online and tried out in store. Toss up between this and the GE for the same price. GE has a water spicket in the fridge and adjustable shelf but when I tried it in store the drawers did not glide right! Looked closely and they did not have rollers. The drawers move smoothly in the LG, which was a must for me as the drawers in the old fridge cracked due to getting stuck all the time! They maximized space with the small bottom bins that don't block the large drawer from coming out all the way, which was an issue for the Whirlpool of the same size. Beautiful finish, though it does show finger prints and marks. Happy to live with it since the entire fridge feels of quality craftsmanship. No worries of replacing a water filter. Ice is a nice extra we did not have in our old fridge. Love the French door style compared to side by side as I can now fit wide items in the fridge and freezer. Comes with a 1/5/10 year warranty so opted out of the protection plan. Quiet as can be. Only noticeable noise lasts 3 seconds and is a slight buzz from the ice maker. Family loves the space. They hate the alarm but I adore it. The fridge yells at them when they leave the door open too long instead of me! Shelves and bins are easy to move in case you need to make room for larger items. Easy to take a part to clean if you have a spill, just read the manual. Extremely happy!
