Worst fridge ever. Broke twice and LG won't fix it. Apparently there is a recall on the compressor that even their autorized service centers told me flat out to buy a different fridge than fixing the compressor (cost 950 + parts). Wouldn't recommend or buy LG Inverter Linear. Maybe that's why they are cheaper with the same size Samsung or Whirepool.

What a piece of junk. This refrigerator cost $2500 in 2018. Pieces of the shelves started breaking off within two years. But the "best" part is that here we are, not quite four years after buying it, and the refrigerator has failed. Apparently right on schedule. The repair guy said these things are built to last 4-5 years. This is the last LG I will ever buy.

Research LG before you buy. There are several class action being investigated on LG refrigerators. After 18 months this model's cooling and freezing completely failed on me. LG is of no help and no repair people want to deal with it. Numerous reports show that if you find someone and can get this repaired it will cost $500 to $750. Many have failed agin after the repair. I am afraid I will have to put my newer $3300 fridge in the gargae and buy another brand. Hopefully I can get something out of a settlement at some future point

Was great for 1.5 years then died. Customer support with LG has been a nightmare even with warranty left. If you are going to purchase any LG appliance be sure to get the protection plan. and don't trust the ignorant sales people, when we went back in to purchase a new Refrigerator, the sales person first recommended another LG, after telling them what happened, they then said it's very common and took us to a Kitchen Aid. What a joke.

This unit lasted less than 5 years before it stopped cooling. In addition the exterior water dispenser paddle broke twice, internal shelves broke very often.

Bought a $3k refrigerator LFXC24726S, brought it home to replace our old unit and lights and all look great. Never got cold. Put it back in the truck and headed back to best buy. Looking at the negative reviews I think I am lucky it never worked! No more LG for me...

Died several times, unreliable. Also, never enough room somehow. Hate it. Dies before thanksgiving a few times, not kidding. Worst fridge ever.

Just after 1 year and 4 months of usage, the unit became super noisy when the fan is running. The warranty was only 1 year. When I tried to schedule a repair online on the LG web site, they wanted to charge $356+ upfront for the repair! I would never buy a LG fridge again.

I bought this fridge less than 9 months ago, and already the door is being replaced because of an internal leak in the ice maker. the repair service is horrible. Get a GE.

Aesthetically beautiful, but poor craftsmanship. The reviews are high because this is a relatively new model, but over time I'm predicting a sharp dip. My unit broke down just over a year, right after the warranty expired. Even before that I would notice the freezer unit stop working every now and then, leaving me with mushy ice cream. The temperature gauge is inaccurate as well. Service will be $300, and LG will only stand by repairs for 60 days. I'm extremely upset at the added expense, lost food, inconvenience, and near loss of my wife's stored breast milk. I wonder if another class action is in the works.

I have one of these refrigerators that is less than 18 months old. It has already had 3 major repairs. The matching microwave and dishwasher have had one major repair. These 5 star reviews must be phony, as two of my friends hate their LG kitchen appliances also.
