Pros: Modern looking, easy to use, extremely quiet, 3rd drawer for cutlery items, adjustable racks. Steam setting washes very efficiently. Cons: Easily get fingerprints on stainless steel finish. I make sure to touch only the handle. This seems typical for any stainless steel product. The lower settings do not clean as well. Unfortunately, this model does not have a pots and pan setting. So it does not wash pots & pans efficiently. Takes a long time but I run it before bed.

Updated from a 10+ year old machine. Big difference in noise and cleaning. Steam cleaning was worth the upgrade, glass and china come out perfect. Clean design in and out, helped update our aging kitchen. If you can catch it on sale, this is an outstanding value.

As for my first dishwasher purchase, I must say this is an outstanding dishwasher. The look brings any kitchen to a modern feel. It is very super quiet to the point that you question yourself if it is truly running. The third racks feels like a bonus and is very helpful in storing your serving spoons and spatulas. It's easy to use and I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a dependable dishwasher.

It is very good dishwasher. Its worth the money. I have run every cycle on it. I put it through my own test. Passed with no problems. It runs at least twice a day sometimes more. Love the third rack. Holds a lot of dishes and pots. It cleans very well. I have been through a lot of dishwashers and this one is the best by far.I had to check it out when we first got to make sure it was runing. Thats how quiet it is.

Purchased this unit to replace a 10 year old whirlpool and wife could not be happier. We love the steam function and how quiet it is. LG products have been very good to us in recent years and we will continue to purchase from this manufacturer. Be forewarned that most appliances though Best Buy come with free "basic" installation. Dishwashers are not included in the basic installation criteria and special installation costs of close to $200 will need to be added if you want the dishwasher installed. This caused some hardship between myself and the local store, but I'm only rating the product not my local store staff. When replacing your dishwasher, steam and stainless steel are two must haves :)

I have had several dishwashers in my lifetime and this is the best I have had. It cleans the dishes very well, dries well, and is very quiet as compare to any dishwasher I have owned. It was easy to install with every possible ease of installation method accounted for. The adjustable upper rack provides the flexibilty needed to fit larger items on the upper or lower rack. It is also easy to adjust. The extra implement rack is an extra plus for variuos spatulas, extra silverware space, and any utensil which may not fit the silverware tray. You can also used it for the primary silverware tray and remove the one on the lower rach for additinal space when the need arises. There are so many wash and dry options for custom jobs, that it is sometimes overwhelming, but nice to have. Perhaps the manufacturer could provide a laminated setting matrix that best covers all possible wash/dry conditions and appropriate settings. I just love the dishwasher and purchased it at a great price from Best Buy just after Thanksgiving.

My dishes are clean and it was done quietly. A lot of room inside and the 3 rd shelf is nice for long flat stuff. My wide ended forks don't fit in the basket holes so I just flip the lid and no problem. I cant get an east visual on the buttons that operate the unit. Other tah that near perfect

This is the best dishwasher I've ever used. I love that it gives you an exact countdown of how long the dishes will take on each cycle. I was also sick with bronchitis and being able to sanitize the dishes gave a wonderful piece of mind. It looks beautiful, makes cute musical tones when the cycle is done and leavesy dishes spotless. Just remember to clean the big pieces of gunk off your dishes before loading them and change the filter if there is any food in it.

This dishwasher does an outstanding job of cleaning and is so quite I had to look to see if it was running. My favorite feature of this product has to be the height adjustable top rack and the tines that fold down on both the top and lower rack giving it a great deal of flexibility.

Not as cheap as some models, but it was well worth the extra money....there was no competition when I saw the 3rd tray, which is really useful for little pieces and large knives, and the flexibility of the two main trays. I needn't have worried about the lack of a heating element.... So long as you leave the door closed for a while after the cycle has finished, everything comes out dry (sometimes plastic needs a wipe, just like any other machine I have owned). Incredibly quiet, except for the little tune at the end that tells you it has finished the cycle. Only thing I don't like - if you aren't using bottom tray for a full quota of plates, they fall over, so that takes a bit of effort to make sure everything is safely stacked. Filter comes out easily for cleaning and it looks good with hidden touch screen controls.

We bought this dish washer with Thanksgiving deal in 2012. Price was good. Best Buy also offered the lowest price guarantee till 1/24/2013 with a piece of mind for our purchase. The height adjustment of racks and specially designed top rack for silverware are excellent features thus flexibility for usage. We currently use it every second day to wash dishes used for two days after lunches and dinners. We usually pre-rinsed the dishes before placing into the washer. This model offered 5 – 6 washing cycle options including the steam cleaning. The cleaniness of dishes after steam washing was excellent even we used minimal amount of cleaning agent. The whole steam washing cycles took over two hrs. The drying method used by of this washer did not use direct heat like my old washer but using the heat from hot water and high speed spinning so that it was very energy and water saving. The usage of Jet Dry could help to ensure the dryness of dishes after washing cycle complete. Our utility bills for last few months were comparable or slightly less compared to less frequent usage of dish washer for dish washing in the past. The installation of the dish washer took about 2 hrs installation from professional. Beware of the hose/valve diameter difference to the existing hose and new hose. It took us an extra $90 to make the switch of valve for proper size which was considered pricy for 15-20 min job. We were offered to change the installation date but we could be able to change the installation date due to sudden notice and necessary to take extra day-off. Ask the hose or valve size and length of hose requirement questions during purchase and make necessary hose/valve changes, if needed, before installation rather than surprises. Other than that we are quite happy about my purchase so far.

You don't realize this dishwasher is even on extremely quiet. Plenty of settings to choose from, love the steam! Cleans great. Lots of room. The 3rd rack is great for little things !!!!

This dishwasher is so quite you don't even hear it running. Cleaning is great but can take up to two and a half hour to complete a load.

We are very pleased with this dishwasher. With having 7 people in our family we needed a dishwasher that could handle the amount of dishes we go through a day plus clean them very well . Our kitchen and famiy room are together so we wanted a quiet dishwasher that wouldn't interfere with entertaining. This one has exceeded our expectations. Glad that we bought it!

Using steam it really gets the dishes clean. I saw another comment that it leaves streaks. I think it's better than the old dishwasher (which was 23 years old) because it has a reservoir to add a rinse agent.. With non-steam it works OK. We had one hint to run the water in the sink until it's hot and then start the dishwasher and that makes a big difference but you can just use steam and it works even better. The only down side is if you have it running while the shower is running the shower can go to a trickle. We didn't notice this with the old dishwasher so it must be pulling quite a bit of water for about a minute. And it is very very quiet.

This dishwasher was a quick pick to match the refrigerator we had just bought. I did some homework for this model, it seemed like a worthwhile washer. It has plenty of room and we run it less than the old washer. It is so quiet the only way to tell it is running is to listen for the cycle change and hear the water running down the drain.

A sleek, stylish dishwasher. was a bit nervous about getting an LG dishwasher but not anymore. well built, dishes and glasses spotless and super quiet.

Replaced a Builder Quality GE.The difference is night and day. This unit is very quiet, and the steam generator gets dishes cleaner than the other unit did, and much cleaner than I could by hand. It uses much less water too. The best move I ever made.

The silverware holder is adjustable as to size. The tines in the racks are so adjustable that you have numerous options as to size of items being placed in the machine. Extremely Quiet,

This dishwasher is so quiet I had to put my hand on it to see if it was running! I haven't tried it yet, but there is a steam function to remove baked-on foods. There is a 3rd rack for small stuff that needs to lay flat. You can put your silverware there too. Really nice feature!
