Great Picture, Awful Sound

The picture looks great and good set of features. However, the SOUND IS JUST PLAIN AWFUL. Sounds like it is coming out of a tin can. Took it back.

LG great sound, sharpness, bad facial tones

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this LG because I needed this size for the space I'm using it in and, per the reviews, it was the one with the best tv speaker sound. It's very sharp, has a nice remote and starts up fast. However, in my experience, LG TVs have the poorest facial color tones in the industry--they cannot be adjusted to look as good as the best I've seen (Toshiba and I've owned 3 for that reason) or even as good as Samsung or Sony. The LGs seem to have a yellow to turquoise tint that is just not natural. If you adjust your set to NBC Nightly News or 60 Minutes, color usually perfect on all other channels. This is after adjusting brightness and contrast and intensity to achieve maximum pleasing saturation. I replaced an Insignia which had excellent facial tones, but average sound.
