This dishwasher is VERY quite - only when the water is flushing to the sink drain do you even know this unit is working. The dishes and silver wear come out spotless and it dry's everything quite well too.

We shopped many brands and features. This one for our budget was by far the winner. It did not disappoint. Easy to load and unload. And much better capacity than our old dishwasher and much quieter. My only pre-purchase concern would be how well it would dry since it does not have a separate heating element as with all foreign manufacturers. But to our delight it does a better job than the old one which had the heating element. Would recommend this dishwasher. Love it. Dishes oh so clean.

Pro: The dishwasher is very quiet. It is tough to tell it is running. The dishes come out clean as well. Cons: Our dishes don't fit very well in the racks. The silverware holder comes apart way too easy and doesn't stay attached to the rack. For the money, I would have purchased something else

We have owned this dishwasher for a little over a month. It cleans everything just fine, but there are a couple of things I don't care for. The top rack where the glasses are stored are not wide enough for most of my glasses which cause them to tip over if they are not placed over a peg. One of the other rows is on such an angle that it has to be filled with bowls or something super short. I do like how the top rack is adjustable for tall items. The dishes also come out still a little wet because there is no more heated drying cycle.

I originally bought another dishwasher but after comparing the reviews with this one I decided to exchange it the next day before it was even delivered. So glad I did! This dishwasher is beautiful, easy and so quiet!

Not only is this dishwasher quiet, but my dishes are clean. With my old dishwasher, I had to pre-wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Now I rinse and load. I love the third rack for silverware. Plus, as with all my LG appliances, it plays a happy song to let me know it's done.

I love this dishwasher, it is quiet and does a great job at getting the dishes clean. The third rack comes in very handy and the adjustable rack is great also.

This is a great dishwasher. I love it. Beautiful to look at and so quiet I double check to see if it is running. While it is not entirely intuitive to load and I have had to try a few different configurations, it still holds a lot and the dishes come out really clean. Two important things to know: 1) if you want your dishes all the way dry you will need to run the extra dry cycle and that means you will lose some energy efficiency; and 2) expect a load of dishes to take a few hours to run. For me this last one was a surprise but not a deal breaker. I just now do my dishes at night and we wake up to a clean load.

The dishwasher get the dishes clean and is very quiet. The only issue is it doesn't get my dishes as dry as I would like.

After having our old GE unit for over 10 years this is a welcome addition to our kitchen. It is quiet, seems well made, cleans well, and gives quite a few loading options that were not present on our old unit.

Very quiet. Love the top rack. What I miss the most from my last dishwasher is the light that told me my dishes were clean.

It is easy to use, and very flexible. The racks can be changed to different heights; I have not run into anything that would not fit. Another great feature is how quiet it is. I can hardly hear it running.

We have only used this new dishwasher twice, but it works great. Very quiet, cleans great, & dries everything, even plastics very well.

We went with the LG because our stove, washer, and dryer are all LG. So far we have had great luck with the brand. The dishwasher is ridiculously quiet. It's so quiet that I didn't think it was working the first time that I used it. Really like the features and the looks. I couldn't give it five stars because there have been times that the dishes feel a little greasy after the wash. We just have to make sure to rinse them before putting them in, which you are told to do anyways.

Best dishwasher I have used and bought. You can stand next to it and not hear it running. Only downside is a very long wash cycle. Cleans very well.

Was looking for a quiet dishwasher to replace our super loud whirlpool that broke down. After much research and reviews read, I chose this LG Dishwasher. Love it, don't even know it's running.Kitchen and TV room connected and no problem hearing the TV. I would recommend this product!

So quiet in our open concept kitchen! Cleans the dishes so well without the need for rinse aid! Super dry as well, was skeptical how it would dry without a coil! energy efficient!!!

We really like the LG line of products. This is nice looking and runs with minimal noise, and it is certainly an upgrade from our prior much noisier dishwasher. I would have given it 5 stars, but it appears there should be more versatility for arranging the dishes in the lowest shelf, and glassware in the middle shelf for greater capacity so we don't have to run it so often. We like having the top shelf/tray for our bottle brushes and container covers.
