It's been 2 years since we installed that dishwasher and today I found two leaks. It's probably been leaking from day 1 or shortly after. We didn't notice because it's a small leak and stays toward the back against the wall. One of the leaks seems to be a manufacturing defect or took a hit in transport. There is a small bump at the junction of the tub and the sidewall at the back right corner. The other leak seem to be somewhere at the 90elbow or pump/motor. I contacted LG support showed them the pictures but they asked questions about the water supply line. These people have no clue. I told them it probably was already leaking while under warranty but they don't care. So bottom line, 2years later that expensive dishwasher is trash, LG won't cover anything and my wall is damaged with mold and the base plate might rot. Very disappointed with LG quality and customer service. I will never buy LG again.

They delivered a dented up dishwasher, then said they would replace it and have not. It’s been a month and the manager does not even return my calls!!! Best Buy pretty much sucks on Customer Satisfaction and Service

Very weak on drying dishes and utensils don’t even get dry. Water remains after cycle finished. Open up the door and it’s wet inside. Cheese knives don’t get cleaned completely. Did a lot of research before buying this dishwasher and now very disappointed. This is the second dishwasher they sent because the first one had the same problem. Won’t recommend.

First one arrived running at 62 decibel and dirty dishes with several tries. I thought I got a lemon and exchanged for same one hoping I was just unlucky. Second one is still at 62 decibel and cannot even fully remove food from spoon! I think the whole lot has QC issue. Returned it and got a Bosch instead. Never LG appliance again.

Pros: Very quiet with a caveat - mine was installed without the sound insulation pad and sheet behind the lower cover, making it rather loud. This is more an issue with the installers vs the unit. Make sure you check that Best Buy actually installed these, mine got thrown away so having to order them separately adds to the cost. Drying - With dry boost on low, this washer leaves dishes bone dry. With high boost, there is barely any water left in the tub. The night dry feature is eco-friendly, and nets you dry dishes when running the unit overnight. Dish settings - There is a ton of flexibility in rack heights, tine positions, and utensil positions. You can fit just about anything mix of dishes you can imagine. Cons: Install - Missing sounds parts, pretty clear cut, but this isn't an issue with LG, more so Best Buy. According to LG both the insulation pad and the sound insulation sheet should be installed. LG Thinq - Connects easily enough, and has some neat information, but the app itself frequently displays items as disconnected despite delivering notifications. Connection to 3rd parties, like Google or Amazon are nearly always shown as disconnected in those apps.

Beautiful dishwasher...love the light inside, and the 3rd rack. The racks slide so smooth. Love the height option for the upper "glasses" rack too. This dishwasher is SO quiet, I actually thought it was broken/not running.

I love it. The only thing that would improve this dishwasher is if it loaded itself. Very quite, Great variety of cycles and other options. I find the night dry feature eliminates almost all the water that’s usually in rims of bowls turned upside down. I didn’t know I needed a light in a dishwasher until now. I have a couple unscientific tests for a new dishwasher. Like getting chocolate cake off the cake plate with having it on everything else. This one passed with flying colors. When I found out I could control it through an app on my phone I was skeptical. Still am but while it is not necessary it is a fun novelty.

This dishwasher cleans very well. It's also very quiet, so no complaints there. It dries about as good as one can reasonably expect from a giant water box. Some people seem to have unrealistic expectations when it comes to drying in dishwashers - there will always be a little water on plastics, but this dries very well overall. I wish the tines on the racks were positioned a little better as sometimes trying to fit the dishes in can be awkward, but that's probably more just personal preference and others might like this design. We originally had a slightly cheaper Samsung and that also cleaned very well, was even quieter, and could fit a few more dishes, but honestly the differences are so minor that you couldn't go wrong either way. This dishwasher has a couple extra features, though, most notably the steam clean feature which works very nicely. This one also has more powerful cleaning for the entire bottom rack whereas the Samsung only has the extra powerful zone they call "Storm Wash" with only covers a quarter of the area. This means you can put your pots and pans anywhere in the bottom rack of the LG instead of being forced into placing them in a certain zone like in the Samsung. All dishwashers seem to have their pros and cons, and I would say I like this one just as much, and in some ways more, than my old Samsung. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

This is so quiet dishwasher ever. You could not notice if it working. Cleaning is perfect. I am not using the third but it is there for silverware. This is worth every pennny.

The dishwasher has been great. We love the addition of lights to see inside the machine, which was a pleasant surprise. The machine is quiet and does a good job cleaning dishes. Very happy.

After many years of diligently following the bad recommendations of mediocre Bosch and Kitchen Aid dishwashers by Consumer Reports, we decided to buy this LG dishwasher based on our great experience with our two LG refrigerators and our LG washer and dryer combination. We have previously owned dishwashers from Bosch, Kitchen Aid, GE and Whirlpool. None have been as good as this LG has been so far. We are delighted with this machine. This LG gets dishes sparkling CLEAN and DRY, even plastics. It’s unbelievably QUIET. The racks are versatile, easy to load, and roll smoothly on ball bearings. The racks and tines are highly adjustable. The electronics are great. There are clear time remaining indicators and reminders for when rinse agents get low and when to clean the unit. We are oddly fascinated by having a lighted interior and the stainless steel lining stays as spotless as the dishes. Finally, we love that this dishwasher also connects via WiFi to our LG ThinQ app. ThinQ can operate nearly all functions remotely, and reminds you when cycles are finished. Overall this a superior top quality dishwasher. If it proves to be as completely reliable long term as our other LG appliances it will be a perfect choice. Delivery and install by Best Buy was very professional, marred only by Best Buy’s giving us only a twelve hour delivery window-unsatisfactory by any measure. Who wants to be pinned to the house for twelve hours waiting for a call that "we’re on our way now."??

Product's functions are good, very silent and gives good result. Quality of the middle trolley is not good enough, within 2 days, it stopped functioning & technician replaced rollers. Trolley is very light hence roller might malfunction anytime if you don't use trolley gently. I didn't find this issue with my old GE dishwasher.

This dishwasher has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s impressively quiet, making it perfect for open-concept living spaces or running at night without disturbing anyone. New dishwasher works great. Has internet connectivity if you're into that sort of thing. It does a really good job of drying and has extra settings around drying off if cups are still wet. The 3rd shelf is really helpful too for spatulas serving spoons, knives, or anything too small to fit on the other shelves. Would recommend

My daughter and I are in love with this dishwasher. We had an old dishwasher that was so noisy we couldn’t turn it on when in the in living room trying to watch TV. This new dishwasher is super quiet and does an amazing job with washing and drying the dishes. I did not connect it to my phone, so I cannot comment on that technology. I also love to ability to select the size on the lower rack for dishes. There’s an extra rack at the top for little tops or small items that would fall if they are placed on the regular rack. The filter at the bottom is easy to remove and clean. I would highly recommend this dishwasher.

We have been using this dishwasher for about a month or so. It cleans extremely well and without using the dry boost it still dries the dishes well. Best of all, this is very very quiet. You can barely hear it running when next to it. I actually didn’t know that the built in internal lights actually helps you see better. I never had a dishwasher with that feature. After using a few different settings, I found that the 1 hr setting (fastest full clean) works for us. Normal (automatic) setting work second best but I think it takes too long. The Wi-Fi feature is great and tells you when the liquid is low and the dishes are done. Overall this is a very good dishwasher and recommend it.

This is a wonderful dishwasher. It has tons of space for dishes and the tines have multiple configurations for added flexibility when arranging. The unit is also very quiet! I love the auto-wash feature that automatically detects the soil level of the dishes. I suspect it does this by sensing the turbidity of the water during the cycle. The stainless tub is nice looking, and the addition of tub lighting gives it a premium feel. Dishes come out dry and streak free. No complaints

So i looked at this init for months. I wanted a wifi controllable lg black stainelss 3 row dishwasher. I wanted it to match my appliances and allow me to control ot all with one app. Now that it was isntalled here is the reality. First the upper drawer for silverware is a game changer. It can be adjusted and moved around so ots near and clean. It keeps solverware out of the way while allowing a deep shiny clean. Then the second level adjusts so you can fit larger mugs or bowls on that level. That leaves the bottom drawer open for plates etc that line up evenly. The init its self is quiet and efficient . It cleans very well and being organized is the ultimate comfort.
