    I bought this refrigerator partly because some reviews said is was quiet. I think at first it was but then after about a week it started buzzing quite audibly. Our last two refrigerators (and all of or kids units) hummed a bit but this is a distinct annoying buzz. It buzzes almost all the time taking only occasional short breaks. I have the Best Buy tech plan and had a tech come and look at it. He said "LG will call that normal operating noise". Either the unit is not a good design or is defective and LG won't back it up, but I won't even consider anothger LG refrigerator.

    They brought the refrigerator and hauled the old one away but they didn’t hook up the existing water line pipe to the ice maker. They told me I should get the plumber come and hook it up.
