    Waste of money

    LG refrigerator bought 9/20 for $1300 and it began failing 11/23. We have taken off work for 7 technician visits since then and still no resolution, the last technician stated it was an electrical issue and not repairable. It is now sparking when attempting to plug in and is a fire hazard. After countless phone calls that we were told we would either get a replacement or refund we have had neither and have not had a working refrigerator in 4 months. Our case was transferred to a "presidential liaison" due to the fire hazard and we can not reach this department in any way. We have lost fridge/freezers full of food on 2 separate occasions and lost countless vacation hours and sick days waiting for appointments. LG has not honored their warranty and we have been lied to repeatedly in regards to resolution options.

    Compressor Died - 2 years Costs more than Frige

    The compressor stopped working after 2 years. It cost more to replace than the refrigerator itself. I have to buy a new refrigerator after two years! Don't buy a LG, you're wasting your money. I thought LG had good products, I have an LG TV and I'm going to be purchasing a dishwasher and stove. It wont be LG

    Compressor failed early

    Garbage. Compressor failed in less than 3 years. I wish I new this was a common LG failure. Ruined at least $400 in groceries and now I'm looking at buying a second fridge just to keep food in the house while waiting for this to be repaired.

    I've had for a few weeks and it's really loud. I wonder if it arrived broken. At first it was just occasional chugging/crunching sound. The ice maker isn't hooked up yet. But now it's a constant motor sound. I can hear it in the next room. It does the job. Nice room inside. No problems with cooling. I just feel like It's brand new and I got a lemon and am going to have a lot of headaches and missed work dealing with repair people right out of the gate.

    Appliances no buy no more

    I buy this fridge LG 3 years a ago. Stop working. A about. 3 weeks. I pay for 5 years warranty cover. And they’re no wants to fixed. And  I don’t know what to do. Best Buy get terrible service now it’s not the same like you’re back to the day. No more Best Buy product. This is my last time. I don’t care they will fix it. Go buy another one in different plates. I’ll throw away that garbage. I pay for something. I no get it. No why no electronic over there. You pay for serving you never go get it.

    Failed after 2 Years. We purchased in 2021. Going to be costly repair after warranty was over. No cooling at all. Beware of lg products. Stay away from lg. Do your research before purchase.

    Bought in 2021. Stopped cooling after 2 years of use. There is a class-action lawsuit against LG for their refrigerators' chronically failing compressors.

    Best Buy did nothing

    Purchased the refrigerator and the install. Best Buy employees delivered the refrigerator but did not set anything up. It is still on wheels and not connected to the water line. Strongly advise not to purchase installation from Best Buy.

    Ice maker broke

    We purchased the LG in Feb 2021. The ice maker just went out. The one year warranty was over Feb 2022.
