Perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted something nice looking for our garage, without and ice or water dispenser. The fridge has a ton of space. I really like the lighting inside the fridge. I don't think it looks quite as dark as it is in the pictures online.

We purchased this product while looking for an upright freezer. We fell in love with the design, features, and black stainless steel color. We have purchased LG products for years and are overall EXTREMELY satisfied with LG.

I was scared because there were not many reviews but I love this fridge. It is a lot quieter than our old fridge. At first, as the ice fills up, it is loud but just till it fills up. I love that the color is darker than the regular stainless steel (but I feel like it is a little lighter than the photo online) and that it is fingerprint resistant. I do wish that the front was magnetic. It does not have a water dispenser (the description said it did) but we did not want one anyway so it was perfect. Make sure that you measure the space it is pretty large but luckily our house had enough space.

Pros. Sleek clean design, like the black stainless steel, love the clean look without the water/ice maker in door, runs quite, very spacious, I bought the whole LG package. Cons. Fridge door won't shut with a nudge have to push close, good thing it has a beeper when it doesn't shut tight or mine would never be shut tight, freezer drawer is loud when opening it, ice is loud when it drops into tray, the freezer top rack doesn't pull out far enough. It also doesn't have a water dispenser as described. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Great so far but only one month old!

I'm very pleased with this refrigerator thus far but it's only barely a month old! Since they want me to do this review now I will do my absolute best because I know that other reviews helped me to make my final decision. I did a lot of research & called & spoke with a lot of sales people in all types of stores & retail locations. First of all I did not want a refrigerator with water & ice because I am a natural health person & I know that those lines can become quite contaminated & should be cleaned on an absolute regular basis of at least once a month. With that said I also knew I wanted a french door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom & a pull-out tray. I originally was going to go with a Samsung model until I found out that they have a very bad reputation w/Not wanting to honor their warranties. I used that same information when all of a sudden now I have just ordered a new range/stove that's going to be delivered tomorrow. I felt I had at least 5 to 6 inches extra width but it just fits in-between my cabinet & the side wall which means just like another reviewer had mentioned when I go to open the left side I absolutely cannot open that door completely on the hinge swing & will never be able to take out that side crisper drawer. So know this in advance that you need to have a swing out space in order to open both sides of the doors completely. My cabinets will be replaced soon so I will be able to move them over to the right at least 6 extra inches so that I'll have space to open both sides of my French door fridge. Very important to allow your fridge to breathe so it does not burn out & it will last much longer. I've made certain that it is pulled out from the back wall a full at least 8 inches because I don't have that side breathe room that I would want & I will have eventually. The LED lights are terrific, crisp & bright. The adjustable shelves in the fridge of course are a necessity because I want one side with enough space to hold higher items and then some Slimmer areas as well. The pull-out drawer underneath the two crisper drawers is really nice I'm calling it the cheese drawer & that's also where I store my yogurt, it's right above the pull out freezer. Storage spaces inside the doors are not that wide but adequate enough for me to store some condiments, vitamins, Etc. I find using round Lazy Susans inside the fridge vital to be able to access other items that I may not use that often but certainly don't want to dig through stacks of things to be able to find. The top pull out drawer in the freezer when it is heavily loaded you do have to be careful mine has already come off the track a few times & I have been able to slip it back on without any major difficulties. I raised my temperatures one full degree both in the freezer & in the refrigerator from what the delivery person set the temp at. He originally set mine to 38 for the fridge and - 1 for the freezer. Some things in my Crispers were starting to freeze. So I set mine to 39 in the fridge & 0 in the freezer. I could probably go even warmer but I'm not going to. Just make certain to rotate your items in your Crispers on a regular basis to avoid freezing & if you open your refrigerator more than I might be doing you may not have this problem obviously. It does signal with a beeping noise when you have either the refrigerator or the freezer open for a few minutes which is also a nice warning feature, especially if you don't even realize that you have not secured the refrigerator or the freezer doors completely & your temp is decreasing. All major retailers have the same model so make certain to price shop & go to someone who will price match if you decide you want to do business with a certain retailer - the price may vary at least $400! Beware! Don't waste money! If you have money you want to give away then you should donate to a qualified 501c3 charity, not these business retailers! I'm happy with it & I hope you will be too & I'm praying this is going to last for many years! I'm certain others must feel the same way because I know I got the last one in the State of Florida that was available when I ordered mine last month from Best Buy. Good luck to you!

It is difficult to find a good refrigerator as they aren't what they used to be. So far I am very pleased with my first LG. Love the black stainless look, the L.E.D. lighting is bright and its nice and cold. I have tile throughout my house so when it is quiet in my house I can hear the ice maker kicking out cubes but that is no big deal as its only a few seconds long.

I got a great price because it is a slightly older model. The looks are very nice inside and out. I replaced a Frigidaire Galaxy that kept things cool but the design wasn't great and the plastic pieces didn't hold up (I understand the non-Galaxy models are better for that company). I like the LED lighting on the inside and the design of the shelving. The open door alarm has helped out many times when my toddler has opened the fridge. If I had to do it again I would buy it again.

Quiet, lots of space. Freezer compartment is hard to open once loaded - you have to lean back and pull hard to get it started opening, then OK.

    Another Great LG Product

We spent quite a bit of time shopping for this fridge -- reading reviews and going back and forth about features, size, price, and door style. We ultimately decided on this, despite it being a new enough model that there were virtually no reviews. We are very happy we took the chance. Here is our thought process: We ruled out the top freezer immediately. (It's amazing someone didn't think of the freezer on the bottom sooner.) We then ruled out a side-by-side because from reviews it seemed that larger ones had a LOT of problems with door seals. This left the French door. We then found that most of the problems with the French door fridges were because of the in-door ice/water dispenser, which we were already inclined against since we usually reached in for ice anyway, and drink water from refillable 5-gallon jugs. We have not missed the dispenser and it's actually easier to grab ice from the freezer drawer, where the icemaker is located. We also ruled out counter-depth because friends have told us that it is harder to maintain a constant temperature in those. (My husband actually created an alcove in the wall behind our fridge so that it is flush with our counters and looks great.) I also like the beeping when the door is open for too long. It really only happens to my 15yo and it drives him crazy, so it's helped to break him of the habit of standing in front of the fridge with the door open.

My wife love it very much. It is very elegant looking and very functional inside. Don't need to clean the outside all the time because it does not retain fingerprints at all. And no more sticker as magnet does not work on this one.

I love the look and the size! The only reason I didn't give it a five is that you have to have both doors open in order to fully open any of the drawers.

Love this fridge !! I exchanged a whirlpool that I originally bought for this LG. My other appliances were all LG and this fridge wasn't in the store when I purchased the Whirlpool. The led lighting is cool and there is an alarm if the door isn't closed all the way. Much nicer than the Whirlpool and Best Buy was very accommodating.

We weren't looking for a new frig, but Best Buy had an open box deal that couldn't be beat. Honestly, this thing is a dream. Holds twice as much as our old one on the frig side, and about the same on the freezer side. I did disable the open door alarm which is extremely irritating, but this is a very solid, quite machine I expect to have for many years.
