Excellent screen, sleek looking, excellent color, very bright and clear, I just wish it wasn't $400. I got it because it had the sharpest and clearest and brightest colors - the white is white - not a dim cast and I like that. I also wish it had built in speakers like my smaller ACER screens. I also really like the larger 27" size.

I was looking for a large monitor for work that would not break the bank. I came across this one and it was on sale for an unbelievable price. I read reviews on this monitor on quite a few sites and figured this fits the bill. I design forms so I needed a large monitor to work off of a couple of documents at a time. The monitor has great color and contrast, great resolution, plug and go with my laptop, crisp text photos look great.. Monitor is thin and light, can be read at extreme angles.

I have two of the LG monitors - they replaced 2 24" Samsung monitors. There was no increase in resolution (Samsung is 1920x1080 and so is the LG) but obviously everything is larger on a larger monitor of the same resolution. The Samsungs had an ajustable stand that permitted different heights. The LG doesn't - it would be nice if it did but the height is okay. It was just easier to raise the height of monitor to fiddle with cables or the like without having to move the monitor.

Bought LG monitor back in Dec. 2012 and wow!!! It's BIG!! coming from 20" (home) and 2 x 24" (for work) I thought about buying 2 x 27" for my home but this thing is BIG. Didn't realized difference between 24' vs. 27". I would recommend to other for this price (bought it for $250). Only downside is quality of base board and no USB port. Hey for $250 I can live with that. Love it!!!

Not one negative issue I can report. Bought at a great price, plugged it in and works great w/ windows 8. Does have the small black border around the edge of the viewing area, but I define this as a "matted screen". So I got the matting at no extra cost...

I bought this on Black Friday since I needed a bigger monitor. It was on sale and bought right away. I didn't notice it didn't have built it speakers like my previous monitor but it still works great and had an amazing HD picture with an HDMI cord.

bought this monitor in no regard to actually keeping it just the thought of 27" was cool. then i opened it and simply fell in love it is so big you feel like the game wraps around you. the colors are amazing and refresh rate is awesome.

I bought this to replace an old HP w 1907 that I owned for about 5 years which still works. The quality on this one is very nice. The 1080p looks great for games like GTA IV, Metro 2033, and many others.

Was very happy with the monitor, excellent picture quality, very charp and crisp. Havent ran into any negatives so far with it, very happy will be adding another this spring of the same model

Size was a bit intimidating at first as a computer monitor, but we love to stream videos and I used it for mapping and other projects. Nice to have all the space, & picture quality is great.

My experience with the LG Flatron E2742 has been very good. The picture quality and clarity is excellent and the colors are vibrant. Repsonse time is excellent.

I am generally challenged when it comes to selecting the right latest and greatest technology. But I made the perfect decision when choosing this monitor. Love the large screen and picture clarity is wonderful.

Bought this monitor on Black Friday and love it. works great connected to my 13" Macbook Air.

This a great monitor for the price, images clear and color is great. I am a senior citizen & enjoy the larger screen.

I bought this as a gift for my guy. he just loves it. I would buy AOC products now that we have one. I am very happy with my purchase.

The monitor is fabulous. Everything is so big and clear. It's also great to watch movies on.
