Great sound ,easy to hook up bought for the living room and has plenty of power for a good movie experience

Good sound system that paired well with my LG Oled tv. Initially had some issue with it producing distorted sound but thatbwent away once I moved my wireless router away from the system. Set up was pretty easy and sound quality is great. If bass is your thing, you can get a punchier bass by increasing the woofer level and adjusting the bass in the tone settings using the lg soundbar app. Great buy!

I was skeptical getting a soundbar coming from a full home theatre surround system at my previous home. A very knowledgeable Best Buy employee demonstrated the soundbar that paired nicely with my LG C2 TV. It sounded amazing in the store. I was convinced to give it a try… The setup was straight forward with no issues pairing the wireless subwoofer. No issues as expected with setting up with my TV as well. At first, I wasn’t impressed with how the soundbar sounded in my new home. It wasn’t until I turned the volume up. With the volume set at 20, the sound bar became ALIVE! I couldn’t hear too much of the Dolby Atmos so I decided to give the LG wiresless speakers to fill a little of the missing surround sound. Overall, I am happy woth my purchase.

I purchased this LG 3.1.3 Channel Soundbar as an open-box deal, and I couldn’t be happier! It looked brand new, and the performance is absolutely top-notch. The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X create an immersive, theater-like experience with crystal-clear dialogue, rich mids, and deep bass. The wireless subwoofer delivers powerful, room-filling bass, and the up-firing center channel ensures vocals are crisp and well-balanced. Setup was a breeze—just plug in, connect via Bluetooth or HDMI eARC, and enjoy. It syncs perfectly with my LG TV, making the experience even more seamless. For an open-box purchase, this was an amazing value, and it performs just as well as a brand-new unit. If you're looking for premium sound, deep bass, and immersive audio at a great price, this soundbar is a must-buy!

Easy setup and works like a dream. The sound is clear and the bass is good for the size of my living room.

This is my first soundbar ever, and it has managed to thoroughly impress me. I was previously using studio monitors as bookshelf speakers with the TV, and while they sounded fantastic I wanted a 5.1 setup that I can use for gaming, so I got this soundbar and the matching SPQ8S rear kit. Right out of the box, the sound quality was not the best, especially since I'm coming from studio monitors. But lg gives you tons of customization options. What works best for me most of the time is the cinema mode, with the subwoofer at 2 and upfiring center channel at -3. The cinema mode actually employs some dsp magic to make the soundbar sound much bigger than it is. For some content I also put the treble at -2. The bass is more than enough for me and I'm honestly afraid that it might lead to noise complaints. For gaming with my PS5 I set the sound quality to Standard since I feel like that's what integrates the best with the surround speakers to create a nice sound bubble. If you are new to an Atmos setup, the effect is very subtle but pleasant. Don't expect the sound to be literally coming from your ceiling. You get some height to the sound but it's not gonna knock your socks off. One thing to note is that connecting this soundbar can be a little tricky. You need to set it up with Google home first before you set it up with the LG soundbar app, otherwise it will not get recognized. If you do mess up the order you can easily reset the WiFi settings by long pressing the WiFi icon on the soundbar. I got the soundbar with the rear speaker kit open box for 600. At that price, the value you get is pretty amazing! For music, I will still use headphones or my bookshelf speakers, but for everything else this soundbar is fantastic.

Amazing!! The sound is so loud and crisp. It sounds realistic as can be. When i’m watching tv with the sound bar on and my girlfriend is in the other room, she hears noises from the tv and comes in the room to see if I heard what she did and I have to explain to her it was just the tv. Also, when my dog hears people talking on the tv, door bells, or car horns she starts barking now. She never used to do that. Volume is sooo sooo loud. I literally feel like I am in a movie theater.

This is a stellar sound bar system at an affordable price! Sure! It's not going to be as good as a high-end home theater surround sound system. If you want the best of the best, you better be ready to invest thousands of dollars. This is for the person who wants to upgrade from the TVs speakers. There is also an optional pair of wireless sound sound speakers that you can purchase from LG. They will cost you more money but they will definitely improve your TV watching experience.

Love the subwoofer being larger than sound bar sets of the past, added that extra bass i was expecting from my last sound bar. Much slimmer profile as well. Very clear sound and easy to install and set up.

This unit replaced a Sharp SB602 we've had from 2015. The LG has some nice features but does require the use of an App to access the full range of features. Overall, it beats the sound produced by the LG C2 it's paired to, but I don't think it pulls too far ahead of the Sharp it's replacing at a much higher price point. The up-firing speakers are an interesting idea but produce a tinny sound in several of the presets. The LG excels with music and movies, but I feel struggles when using Sound Pro in most media types. Arc worked right out of the box and the unit paired to the subwoofer without any issues. Seems well built and looks great.

Very good sound quality. Bass is deep and booming while not overly aggressive. What was most immediately apparent was how forward the voices were in movies and tv shows. My prior soundbar everything was a bit muddles and you had to turn it up way too loud to hear dialog well. This manages it well. Atmos performance is great as well. (for missing rear speakers)

Powerful soundbar that is great for all. The voice speaker in the top middle of the soundbar is perfect for those who watch TV or movies at a lower sound level. Some soundbars need to be turned up to hear speaking but this one works at lower levels. Great for me who wants the power and Dolby Atmos and my wife who’s not looking for that.

As the title says, for the sale or open box price point, there probably is not another sound bar/sub combo as quality as this one. The vocals are extremely clear. The bass is deep and rich; not overpowering, but better than the Polk and Sony sound bar subs I had prior. The sound stage is great for a 3.1.3, with the ability to add two rear speakers. The atmos is decent for a sound bar; don’t expect it or any sound bar to sound like atmos at the theater or a multi thousand dollar ststem in home. Had a Polk and Sony prior to this, and the LG tops them both.

Has been great so far. A few associates recommend this model and one of them was helpful enough to find an open box for $100 off savings. Sound and bass is outstanding for a soundbar i think. Please note i recommend buying the LG 140W surround speakers for this set. Doeant make me miss my 5.1 surround sound. Ive only had the sub disconnect rarely but reconnects right away (it is a wireless sub) but the bass does pound.

So I’m a receiver and tower speaker in a surround sound 5.1 or better kind of guy but for aesthetic purposes I tried this sound bar with a purchase of a new LG TV to clean up the living room. Sound is loud and clear but lacks the bass and mid range I’m used to. So if you love to listen to music …. Loud…. With plenty of mid and bass this may not be for you, however if you want nice clear clean sound for tv watching then this sound bar is for you. Paired with the LG TV it sets up easily. Worst part about it is the app software connection. You need this app! It helps dial in the sound bar for your space and allows you to change many listening settings. It’s a pain to set up!!! Once connection is made it seems stable.

The item shown above is very modern, satisfying to the hearing, and over all, very affordable.

One of the absolute best purchases I’ve made. I got it on sale and boy oh boy am I glad I did. Have it in the living room downstairs and with the subwoofer turned all the way up, it shakes the entire house. Soundbar never gets distorted, even when turned all the way up. Would even make an awesome house party speaker also.

So far better than the 3.1.2 which i had issues with where sometimes the sub cuts out or the bar has distortion/ audio issues a few times a day. The sound is better and better quality without being too loud at 15 volume, actually have to put it at 20 instead while still having a lot of good sound. Bass is fine and for the sale of 699.99 is the only time I'll pay this much for a sound bar for the small room i play games in
