I actually bought this a few days ago. I took it home and connected it to my Samsung 58 inch HDTV and played a few movies. The sound was very good I like the fact that it supports DTS and DTS X. But I have noticed is that there are times when the soundbar does not respond to the remote. I have to turn it off and back on to fix the issue. I was also a little disappointed that it does not support HDCP 2.2. I guess I should have read closer.

Another terrific LG product. Big sound from this entry level priced sound bar. Plenty of features. Blue tootg works fantastic. Easy to connect to multiple phones and tablets.

This soundbar brings out the best In LG soundbar with virtual dts surround sound etc. can’t complain I have purchased 3 of these soundbars and no complains.

Easy to install, minimal set-up and sound is great. Wireless subwoofer is great. Had to play with setting for older movies but you tube is your friend. I recommend this for anyone out there that wants simple quality!

Works great. The sound is perfect and it was very affordable for what we got.

I had LG 2.1 before and was looking to upgrade to 5.1. But I needed minimal setup with no wires or separate speakers and with this criteria, most of the speakers were way above my price range. Luckily 3.1 was on a sale and it had WiFi and Chromecast support! Picked up without any thought. I know it's not a 5.1 but when you listen to it, it's the best budget speakers.

The subwoofer on this unit began 'disconnecting' (it is wireless and it will clip in and out for 10 second intervals) less than 3 months after purchase. The trouble shooting guide said to move it away from any and all other equipment that has wifi or bluetooth (which in today's household is almost if not impossible) so we continued to move it around our living room looking for a spot in which it would remain wirelessly connected. It still does not work correctly. Additionally, the functionality of the settings are poor and challenging to set up. Further, the unit does not come on concurrently with the TV - there is a 20 second delay before there is sound after turning on the television - and it is connected to a top of the line LG OLED television so there should not be a technology drift as might occur when connecting different brand products.

Bought the LG SL7Y "Works with Google Assistant" means that it's Chromecast Audio built in. No possibilities of talking to it as it doesn't have a microphone. Kind of a bummer. All the Best Buy employees told me that I could use it as a GHome input. FALSE. Also, It's quite small and it looks terrible under my 75in TV.
