Overall performance is good but but rusting and finishing problem on stainless steel body.

We purchased this oven after much research when our electric wall unit died. We had to do significant renovation in the kitchen to get this in, but I'm so glad we did. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gas cooktop. When we moved into our house, they had installed a ceramic top electric cooktop, and I never liked it. It was impossible to simmer anything on, and while the water would heat up quickly to boil, it took forever to get the boil down where you wanted it. With this oven, I have the superburner to bring that big pot of potatoes to a boil, and a simmer burner to simmer the gravy and keep it warm during the meal. It's simply perfect. I love the double ovens, although I'm still working out the differences between gas and electric (and convection) cooking. I found the my cookies bake better in the bottom oven, but heating up rolls or pizza in the top oven is perfect. We've used the convection roast option and few times, and the meat has been perfectly cooked (again, still working on the timing, but other than that, it's been perfect). I love the look of the oven, although the stainless steel does get dirty relatively quickly. The oven chimes and the lights blink at you both when the oven reaches temperature and when the timer goes off. It is a little tough getting into the bottom oven to pull out a large roasting pan, simply because it's so much lower than our old, eye level wall unit, but nothing we won't get used to.

the top oven seems to take longer then normal to cook and the lower oven makes a loud popping noice everytime its turned on. next time i would go for the electric oven with a gas top

disappointed in this stove. It does not fit up against the wall so it sticks out. Also one side cooks faster than the other in the pans on the stove top as well as in the oven

Bought 2013 Major Gas Leak in both ovens Oct 2016 No service tech in area to fix

We picked this range up right before Thanksgiving when our other oven failed. Best Buy sold us the floor model due to our needing an oven and being impressed. The ovens work great, and installation was easy. However the main control panel failed about 2 hours after we had boiled water on the stove for a while. Apparently the steam adversely affected it. We got a technician to look at it, and we were told 6-8 weeks for replacement, so we have no ovens right now. We are trying to get LG to remedy this situation. A 2month old range should not have this problem. Other than that, this is a great range, and if this is resolved we'll be baking again.
