This washing machine can take on a large load and still wash all your clothes effectively. It is also energy efficient and does not use much water I find. One great feature is the quick wash. With this feature, 1 wash will be done in about 15 minutes! And it's just as good as a regular wash.

My front loading Lg washer is easy to operate. The laundry comes out clean, fresh, and fluffy. It's water and energy efficient Saving me money on my utility bill. It's very quiet, even the spin cycle and the end signal is music to my ears. I would recommend this washer to my friends and relatives.

This washer is easy to use with understandable controls. It runs very quietly after some initial and irritating thumping as it adjusts the load. It was so noisy at first that I called the manufacturer who said it was normal. Still not used to it but after it begins adding water and throughout wash and spin cycles it runs quietly. Clothes come out very clean and the spin cycle is very powerful, with clothes being quite well dried of excess water. Handy separate containers for soap and bleach and softener. I am very satisfied overall and highly recommend this washer.

It uses very small amount of water, and the clothes come out clean. But there is a problem with all the front loading washers, it traps more dirty water and may smell badly after some usage.

After coming home to a puddle in our laundry room we needed to purchase a washing machine quickly! I did a quick online search of the top rated machines at Best Buy and this model popped up. We arrived at the store 30 minutes before close and were able to get in and out in under 15 minutes. The sales associate said we could pick the machine up the next day at a shipping facility. This was great since we needed to do laundry before leaving for vacation the following day. Installing the machine was a snap and the machine worked through our loads in no time flat. It spun our clothes much faster than our previous Bosch front loader, which cut down on drying time. The machine has a ton of features, some which we may never use! Some of our favorite features are the timer, quick wash and Cold Wash feature.

My wife and I were washing clothes one day thinking to ourselves how great it would be if there were a product on the market to wash clothes automatically, a "washing machine" if you will. After doing (minimal) research online, we found that there were numerous manufacturers doing just that. So much for filling a niche. Regardless, after having had our Samsung be replaced after just over a year of service, we decided to purchase the LG on the advice of family, friends, and the occasional hobo on the corner. It had great reviews, a large capacity, and the ability to coexist peacefully with a pedestal. The purchase was on! Within a week, the enforcer arm of the Geek Squad arrived and proceeded to install said purchase. I'm confused as to why I still ended up with new hoses, as the old(er) ones from the Samsung were only a little over a year old. Maybe they came with the new LG, or the fitment was incompatible. Either way, meh. I'm glad to see a new discharge hose was included, though. After a month's worth of use, it seems to be living up to it's name, LG, for LarGe loads necessary. Having a two-year-old and a mother-in-law in the households necessitates multiple frequent loads, sometimes packed full. So far, so good! The only downsides I see to the unit are that it sometimes holds water in the drawer where the detergent goes, the use of a filter that requires monthly cleaning (I haven't yet, so I don't know how that goes), and the inability to swap the door opening. The last one is a major one, as the location of the unit in the laundry room makes it very inconvenient to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer; the door also does not lay flat when open. All in all, though, it's a washer, it washes, and it hasn't stopped yet.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this LG washer. It cleans clothes well and has plenty of cycle options, and it is much more energy and water efficient than top-loading washers. I also really like the fact that the motor is direct drive and not belt-driven, and it has an easily accessible, removable pump filter. The only negatives to this unit are the fact that the door is not reversible and that it causes vibrations when spinning at its highest speed.

This is our second front loader. We really enjoyed our first and very nervous that a new machine would work as well. This LG is very easy to use.... just as easy as hitting the play button on an ipod. Nice "cycle complete" sounds. Chothes are so much dryer coming out of this new machine the effective spin cycle is really saving me money on dry time. Does great with large heavy loads of towels or jeans!!

I love the extra large capacity, cleaning ability and quietness of this machine! The hand wash cycle is particularly delightful to me. My clothes are cleaner than ever before and I am using much less water. I love the cycle end signal so I don't forget to remove the wet clothes! I live in a small apartment, and I never hear this machine run from any other room, except the one it is located in. We looked at much inferior machines for a little less money, but we are so glad that we went with the LG models.

The washer is really quite quiet and has an amazing capacity. I am happy with my purchase. Delivery men were also impressive and certainly helpful.

This machine is great and works better than I expected. But the Best Buy installers were even better . they were onetime, had great manners , and made sure that the floors were protected . They gave clear concise direction on the use and monthly maintenance of this machine. Again Best Buy has matched the high quality products with extraordinary service.

The washer like the dryer is surprisingly huge as I used to have the the top loading washer with dryer attached on top taking up relatively the same amount of space but with much less machine room It does the clothes beautifully

It cleans very well. The drum turns in one direction, stops, then turns in the other direction so everything actually gets wet. Gravity helps too of course. One con: It doesn't have a 'Whites' cycle. You have to select the hot water, extra rinse, and extra wash time manually. That's not a big deal to me, which is why I still gave it five stars.

I am very happy with my purchase- no complaints what so ever. My clothes are clean and smell good. I enjoy the large capacity of the washer but I love the fact that I can do a smaller load without wasting water/energy.

My mother-in-law got this washer a couple years before we did. I used hers while visiting and I really liked it. When our 20+ year-old washer died, I knew this washer is the one to buy. I like the energy efficiency factor a lot. I also appreciate the fact it can handle large rugs, sleeping bags, comforters, etc.

I am very glad that I made the choice to make this purchase. I love the cycle options and te fact that it's quick, efficient, and quiet is a plus. Couldn't have picked anything better.

Runs quietly and uses less water & electricity than our old washer. Sometimes it appears as if there is not enough water in the load, but the clothes still come out clean .
