But I did not extort a melted fan motor that took two weeks to address. Then it caught on fire. Still not fixed. Called Best Buy and they sent me to LGs customer number. LG said Best Buy should replace. They won’t. Dryer looks great for 4 weeks old and not functional.

We have contacted LG as it is under warranty and they say that there is nothing wrong with the unit.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this dryer because of its size--we have a small laundry closet so nothing else would fit. And it is disappointing. With each load you have to turn the dryer on and choose the cycle; there's no changing cycles or unloading one batch and putting in another without restarting it all over again. Sheets in particular (but anything of any size) always come out wrinkled, no matter what cycle is chosen. I've defaulted to "easy care" because it seems to work best, but it's barely satisfactory. There's no de-wrinkle setting. The controls are not intuitive or that easy to figure out;, including timed drying. It throws off a lot of heat, as non-vented dryers do. All in all, if I could find a small dryer from another brand, I'd buy it.

The first one I got didn't even get hot. Best Buy replaced it with a new one. This one got warm. After being on high spin in the washer and setting the dryer on timed dry, hi heat for 60 minutes it took 2 hours to get two towels damp dry. I tried a set of queen sheets, again using hi spin. It took almost 3 hours with me stopping every 30 minutes to pull the sheets out of a tangled little ball. If you only need to dry little tiny batches of clothes then it would be fine but if you want to actually dry your linens you may as well hang them outside. Best Buy was kind enough to replace the set with something that does what it's supposed to.

The Ap doesn't connect so diagnosing the issue is frustrated. Started drying on manual just setting a time. Now it turns off under manual after 5 minutes. Everytime. The sensor light flashes. Why have a manual setting if it wont just stay on for the time set? What's wrong with the dryers from the 80s and 90s that just had on/off switch and a dial for the time? Tech has become so smart, it's just stupid.

Decent dryer

Also it’s moderately loud. Not too bad. Would have given 4 stars but there’s a weird smell that has lasted for a month and a half. I tried washing the inside. Helped a little.

LCD panel is not backlit
