We decided to update our old washer dryer set from 12 years ago and bought this one because I wanted a traditional washer (not front load). Found out that it is a bit deeper (both from the wall & taller). Being short makes it a bit difficult trying to grab those little things like socks & underwear from the bottom of the washer. Tried to get a stool to help, but that only makes me taller, not longer. Grabber tool might be helpful, but sometimes you improvise with anything that is handy. That isn't the fault of the washer (I'm just too short). I am also finding that the door can't open all the way now because my cabinets are in the way. It's unfortunate, but I guess that means we'll eventually have to replace the cabinets. These are things I didn't think about before we bought the set. I was only worried about it fitting through the door and against the wall so that the door to the room would shut.

Went from a front loader to this great washing machine. Cleans well and easy to use. It has a huge tub and I have a hard time reaching the clothes at the bottom but well worth it.

This is a great washer! Quiet, gets the clothes clean. Love the multiple settings. Other than the tub being very deep for vertically challenged folks I would recommend this washer highly.

The washer measured up to all the reviews I read prior to purchase. Price was great, delivery excellent, Does very good job cleaning clothing and does not vibrate. Very quiet!

Very easy to use & washes a large load of clothes very quietly & thoroughly. If you are on the shorter side it is a little difficult reaching to the very bottom of the washer.

Very quiet and so big 6 peoples laundry done so much quicker because of capacity. So easy to use. Lg is one of my fav hands down

We looked for a new washing machine for some time, and were focusing on top load machines. Our budget was around $500-$600.00. We looked at Whirlpool machines, and the salesman at Best Buy showed us a few other models. Never knew LG entered the Appliance market. We knew they manufactured TV's. WE chose the LG because of capacity, Stainless Steel drum and location of controls in the front of the machine. It's turned out to be an easy-to-use machine, and it's a water saver too. Win-win! Highly recommend this brand, and the fact that the people working at Best Buy are so helpful! Will continue to make this store my go-to place for electronics, and now, appliances!

This is a great washer. My clothes are getting cleaner and I do laundry less often because it’s capacity is large. It’s more delicate on my clothes without the agitator.

This machine is so quiet - does a HUGE load and is self leveling. With the controls on the front of the machine and the see through top I find myself just watching it - crazy I know. I really feel my clothes are coming out cleaner. Very happy with purchase.

It has a basic power switch and a normal setting that self populates details. Basically can just hit 3 buttons (Power, Normal, Run) and it does the rest. Great for my very stubborn 89 year old father whom I purchased it for. You can also over-ride all of the times and details if desired. (Not gonna begin to open that nightmare training session with him). He seems to be happy with it and his blankets fit in it no problem. It must be working fine with no problems at all or believe me- my phone WOULD ring. He is a Marine from World War 2 and a retired Aerospace engineer. He can complicate anything with ease.

The drum is large and washes clothes good. Not noisy and has been good to me for 2 years now with no issues

This is very quiet while washing. Love the large capacity. Very deep you may need a step stool to get to the bottom if you are short like me. My daughters and I love it.

We have had the washing machine for a month now. It took some learning to feel good about it since we had an older machine for years and had read great and not so great things about this style of washing machine. Once we read about the machine and understood the new rules of the game we were very happy and impressed by the washer. It works great, it is quiet, it dries the clothing more than the old machine. And from the moment we walked into the store to the delivery of it - Best Buy did everything well.

When my daughter's washer went out about six months ago, I did some research in Consumer Reports and several other consumer sources and found the LG High-Efficiency to be highly rated. She bought one. Several weeks ago, our old Maytag went out after some 15 years of service. Since I had tried our daughter's machine and found it to be top-notch, we also bought one. I can get over twice the washing done in one load than I previously could with our old machine. I would highly recommend this LG to big families or even small families who do a lot of washing like we do. I think you'll be impress.

I love the individual settings from a quick wash to adding extra water when i want. I especially love washing two loads at once!

Was time to replace washer for our large family and this washer is able to keep up and delivers clean clothes every time. It is much quieter than our previous washer as well.

great washer. clean clothes. pretty quiet. no smelly buildup like front loaders. see my review for the matching dryer (oops). the dryer is awesome. love gas over electric driers.

I love this washer it's quiet and pretty easy to operate. The only thing is I'm 5'7 so when bending in to retrieve items, I'll occasionally press buttons on the front. I haven't quite figured out how to set the fabric softener option when on speed wash.

So far so good, had it about a month now and is a huge improvement over our 10 year old washer. Have had no issues with the balancing that some people mentioned. Looks very impressive when looking down in it, the glass top is nice and the stainless steel drum looks huge. Overall very happy with it. Like some mentioned it is very deep and at 6ft could barely reach the bottom, I was originally worried about hitting the buttons but the buttons will only function after the unit is turned on.
