Had an LG washer for 14 years and finally needed replaced. LG’s new appliances and customer support since then have went down hill, bottom of ocean, nonexistent. Bought this washer March 2, delivered March 11, and broke March 18. It will be 2 weeks and hopefully it will get repaired. Drain pump failed and they sent a tech out week 1 without the parts to fix. Order parts and waiting week 2 for them to hopefully come out and fix soon. Customer service sucks….its all via text or FB messaging.

The washer worked great for awhile. Enjoyed the features and the style of it. Sadly recently I noticed mold inside of the washer causing possible health concerns. Yes I did all the steps to ensure the mold would not happen however it did. I would recommend if you buy the product to be extra careful. I couldn't believe this washer has not been recalled. I do not recommend this washer due to the molding. The clothes do get washed well thou.
Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand your concern about dealing with mold inside your LG Washer (WM4000HBA) model, especially when you've followed the recommended steps to prevent it. We strive to provide high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience.
To address the mold, we recommend running a cleaning cycle with an affresh washer cleaner or a similar cleaner designed specifically for washers. Additionally, after each use, leave the washer door open to allow air circulation and reduce moisture buildup. Cleaning the rubber gasket and seal regularly is also crucial to prevent mold from forming. Buyer Beware I totally agree with this statement and customers reviews’s we don’t recommend buying any appliances, especially washing machines from Best Buy. They ripped us off three times especially with the #Warranty. They are not. I don’t recommend them when it comes to appliances, electronic. Yes but they don’t know how to deal with electronic the appliance part department, I recommend going to an appliance store. They tend to the delivery department ship you open boxes when you purchase a new item be careful this is why your machines break down !!

Washer seemed good until spin cycle. Ridiculously loud. Shook the house. One unit returned and replaced. New unit - same issue. Will try to work with LG on service but not hopeful as 2 units had same problem.

Its cool and all nice design but whenever you choose a sensor dry setting they dont let you change the heat temperature so on a normal setting my clothes were dried with too much heat. Now i have to do a timed dry just to change the heat temperature. If the AI is supposed to sense when my clothes are dry WHY DID MY CLOTHES SHRINK!
Hi, Giorvani. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about your clothes shrinking when using the sensor dry settings on your LG Washer (WM4000HBA) model. We strive to provide high-quality products exceeding our customers' needs and expectations. The sensor dry cycles automatically adjust drying time based on moisture levels, but heat settings are preset for optimal performance. For more control, we recommend using Low or ultra-low heat settings under Timed Dry or selecting the Delicates cycle, which uses gentler heat. Also, avoid overloading the drum, as this can affect drying accuracy. Works well, crappy controls

This is my second set of LG washer/driers. I’ve owned this, and the drier, for about six months. It works fine and isn’t too noisy, but the controls are just about illegible.
Since LG apparently had no better idea on how to jazz up the machine, they decided to make the control panel about as low-contrast as possible. Little lights on the control panel indicate washing and drying functions, but try to read the label that accomplices each little light.
My LG microwave oven controls are just the same. If I had paid attention to what I experienced with the microwave, I would have bought different washer/driers.
Hi, BarryA! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback on the LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer. Faulty Product

LG washers front loader and top loaders have a huge problem with a particular part that goes bad after a certain time. LG shows no intentions in fixing this problem. This was told to me by a certified LG technician. Please stay away from there washer machines unless you want it replaced in a couple of years because of this problem.
We appreciate all feedback. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great experience with our service. Trust us when we say that your comments does not go unnoticed. We would be pleased to investigate this further, but we must switch to a platform that allows us to have back-and-forth conversation. VERY LOUD!

VERY LOUD! BEWARE! I just purchased this washing machine because it was rated #1 by both Consumer Reports and Wirecutter. Reviews said it was quiet. I immediately had Best Buy come out to make sure they installed it correctly or to see if I had a lemon. BB repairman said that this is how loud all of them are and I could switch to the Samsung. Samsung has incredibly long wash times. So I will have the LOUDEST washing machine I’ve ever had (almost 60 yo) for the next ten years.
Your feedback is very important to us, and it helps us keep a fresh perspective on new ways to improve our services and future product developments. Leaks from door when using Clean cycle, Gentle or Bedding cycles. Two repairs have been made: new seal and a new door and it still leaks.
Although this is a new machine and I have Geek Squad coverage I'm now getting the runaround.
We would be happy to help you with scheduling repair, however, we need to move to a platform that supports back-and-forth messaging. Please send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter using @LGUSSupport and include #VOC, your contact info and we will do everything in our power to expedite a resolution for you.
