This replaced my 15 year old LG washer. I like the machine. Different settings make for cleaner laundry. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the door catch where the door closes and locks into the body of the washer is plastic. To me, it seems they went cheap on this item and may not stand up to the rigors of the door opening and closing. I do like the wifi connectability. I know, I thought the same thing. WHY? Well, being connected, it reminded me after 30 washes, to clean the drum. My old machine failed because of deteriorating bearings because of soap buildup. If this helps keep this machine running for 5 extra years, it's a good feature to have.

I have had this washer a few weeks now and I cannot believe how much LG has improved this unit. I had an older model from 2008. It finally reached a point that I could not easily repair it affordably. So I bought this newer model based on reviews. Well, I am not disappointed. It is SO much quieter than the older unit even before it turned into a freight train. This one is quiet, calm, and it works great. I have not tried the wifi feature yet, but I will need to. I can no longer hear when it is done with a load of laundry :) It was pretty much plug and play in that it worked very similar to the older model controls-wise. This one has more features that I will explore further, but it took no time to get laundry going again. The guys that came out and installed were great. They were quick and verified everything before they started. Excellent job Best Buy.

Replaced my 15-year-old LG washer with this one. Great features for the price.

The machine works effortlessly. I am impressed with how quiet it runs. The controls are positive and easy to understand. The tub is larger than my old machine. This makes it a little more difficult to bend down and reach the back when unloading. I am 6’02” and shorter persons may not have this minor inconvenience.

Very good washer machine for a decent price. It is huge so it can fit a big load. I have a king size bed so I wash my heavy blanket and it fits. Many programs are available. Ot has an option where you can turn it on through wjfi or your phone but i didnt use that option yet so i don't know how it works.

Quiet operation and does a great job cleaning large and small loads Remember to use less soap than usual (about 3 tablespoons) for the best results.

It's a very nice washer, and goes well with the pedestal washer we got with it. Like any front loader, it's best to keep door open a little so the moisture doesn't create mildew and such. The download option is pretty cool, wish it allowed more than one at a time. The spin cycle is ridiculously fast. There was hardly a drop in the clothes.

In a span of 3 months I had a GE, a Samsung and this LG model. The GE didnt seem very solid and was hard to get the clothes out. The Samsung just didnt get the clothes clean... THIS LG is AWESOME. My clothes are coming out clean and well rinsed. Very solid machine, high quality

Really impressed with this washer. Really does a load of laundry in 30min instead of my old LG that would take 1 hr for the same load. This washer is quite a bit quieter as well.

Delivery was early. The install was done well and efficiently. I was given a tutorial on how to use the machine and really appreciated how friendly and easy going the delivery gentlemen were. After using it for awhile I'm very happy with how it performs.

I have only had it for 2 days and maybe 3 laundry loads, but so far, we are quite pleased with our purchase.

Wife loves and girls love it. There is so much difference between the Kenmore and the LG. It is so quiet you can hardly hear it run. The music it plays when it is done is a lot better than the beeper. It plays music just like our new LG Dishwasher. When our LG dryer quits we are going to by another LG dryer.

Although we've only used the washer 5 or 6 times so far, it works well and doesn''t make excessive noise. It also plays a nice little tune when the cycle is over. We haven't used any of the "smart" functions and probably won't since it seems unduly complicated for our needs. Otherwise it seems great!

Great washer, replaced my Samsung which broke again! LG washer are awesome, their sensor to determine the amount of time to wash the load is great and spot on based on what is in the washer. It’s not defaulting to 1 hour everytime.

We are very pleased with our new LG washer. It does an excellent job cleaning and is much quieter than our old front loader. We like having the TurboSteam option for sheets and such even though that cycle is quite long. The other cycle times are much shorter than before. The only catch is that the finish scratches very easily, so don't set your detergent bottle on top! Overall, we are very satisfied. Note: our washer is not on the internet and we have no intention of ever using the app. So far that has not caused any problems or limitations for us.

This product works well. I like it's sleek style and selection of washing choices. I would definitely recommend.

Happy so far hoping it lasts at least 12 years without any problems
